Barcelona Morning Tapas Crawl By Food Tour

A great tour featuring local specialty foods, snacks, and drinks. It was perfect for what we were looking for, offering a nice mix of historical insights and local information. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative.

Nice guide who gave us a bit of the history of the area. However, the amount of food you got for €60 was scant. We got a local drink, an almond chocolate tasting which is free for anyone who walks in, missed the chocolate tasting because shop closed, a churros and dipping sauce, nut tasting (also free to anyone walking off the street,) some cheeses, ham/salami and olives and lastly 2 tapas and a drink (we all had vermouth). Nothing special about the food we had and could have all been bought for €15-20

Our guide, Dago was very informatic, explaining us about the history of the area, location and food that we were experiencing, even with his limitation of english, i understood what he was telling. The tour was pleasant. As a non-sweettooth, i wish the food was more savory than sweet. All in all, i did enjoyed my 3 hours in the tour.

It was an amazing tour. Our guide was very personable had a lot of good information on Barcelona. He shared a bit of history as we walked in between places as well as personal experiences in Barcelona. We also had a bit a free time to explore the shops and neighborhoods.

Carla was LOVELY! Would recommend to anyone visiting! Lovely experience! Amazing food, wine and fun facts about the city along the way.

Incredible guide!!! Best tour!!!! Tslila is the best. She not only gave us great information about the food, the neighborhood, and the restaurants, she also helped us to make a reservation for the following day at another great restaurant. Would definitely go again!

Our local tapas guide, Tslil, did a fantastic job showing us the best of the best local tapas spots. The food and drinks were scrumptious and the company was even better. I can’t wait to go back and try the other tapas spots. Make sure to go hungry and if you can, ask for Tslil!

We always book a food tour to learn about the culture in the country we visit. This tour hosted by Carla was excellent. The food was delicious and our tour guide Carla was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When we come back we will definitely be reaching out to Carla to reconnect for dinner. 10/10

Carla was an incredible guide through Catalan cuisine!!! We came hungry and were not disappointed—we tried many traditional items including meats, cheeses, seafood, drinks, dessert and more!! Everyone at the market seemed to know and love Carla, which was an added bonus!! Thanks again!

Boris was guide and he was amazing. He communicated the history of the city and significant points of interest while walking through the gothic district all while stopping at different hidden gen restaurants/shops (and a stop at a market). We learned a lot while trying many small bites. I would do this eating tour again and recommend to others.

We had the best time with Carla! She took us through the beautiful gothic area and off of the main touristy area. She customized the tour to our tastes (my kids wouldn’t go for seafood) and we felt welcome in each store. Everything was so delicious- horchata, churros, chocolates, olives, cheeses, and more! She shared some history in the area and pointed out details that we would have missed. She was so friendly and patient (even when we arrived late). With so many options in Barcelona, we really appreciated visiting her favorites and recommendations. Thank you!!

I just had a wonderful food tour with Carla and I totally enjoyed it. The food was plenty and tasteful and Carla was such a nice host! Totally recommend it. Can believe that 3 hours went so fasz.

We went on a tour with Brais, was amazing experience loved it, nice food and atmosphere, cool thing to do if in Barcelona, definitely recommend, worth the money for sure! Brais amazingly explained everything!

Caroline was great! She showed us some great restaurants and the best tapas to eat at those restaurants. Each tapa had unique flavors and she also explained what each was made of. We tried 4 different restaurants and about 3-5 tapas in each restaurant. By the end of the night I was very full but totally worth it! I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to try authentic tapas in Barcelona.

Great Tour with an amazing guide gislaine, full experience of Spansih/catalunya brunch breakfast and tapas foods. We were left really full in the end.

We went on the brunch tapas tour yesterday and it was fabulous ... we had an amazing time! Guide was fun and knowledgeable. Highly recommend it.

We went on a private tour with Boris. Our tour was the brunch tapas tour. He was friendly and informative about the history of Barcelona. However, we did not have tapas until the very end of the tour. We stopped at a few shops, and then a market place for tastings of different food items from the region. Most of our party came in without eating breakfast, thinking we would be eating more than we actually did. At one point, many people in our party bought food at the market because they were so hungry. I think that the description of the tour needs to be rewritten to explain that it’s a walking tour with tastes, rather than a full-fledged food and tapas tour.

They canceled the tour on the same day after purchased months in advance, end up doing everything by ourselves at the last minute.

We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour! We were able to explore the local market and tasted many authentic dishes popular in Barcelona. Our guide, Dago was well informed, professional, and most importantly...fun! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Barcelona. I try to take a food tour everywhere I go. It is a great way to become immersed in local culture....and food!

Great way to kick off a short stay in Barcelona. Christina was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. We sampled sweet and savoury treats with one of the highlights being a visit to Santa Caterina Market and the Iberico ham and rose cava. If you want a nice way to feel at home in the city, then this tour is a great choice.

Rodrigo was awesome. The food tour was absolutely wonderful and the dishes were 10/10. Rodrigo was super knowledgeable. The dessert was unmatched.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Christina. 6 stops for authentic, local tapas along an absolutely fantastic tour through the Gothic quarter and El Born. Our tapas tour was a great way to get acclimated to the city while munching on churros, chocolate, Iberian ham, exploring a market and learning a bit about the history and culture of this amazing city. We went on the 11:00am tour at the Mercat del Ninot with Dago. The tour was very informative, and Dago was very knowledgeable about the different cuisines available within the market, as well as some local and regional history regarding food and agriculture. To cap off the tour, Dago took us to the BEST kept secret in Barcelona - the best food I’ve had on our trip so far: Barra Perello (DEFINITELY try the octopus dish)! I’d definitely do this tour again,

Wonderful samples and tapas! Lasted about 1.75 hrs. Dago was informative and fun. We really enjoyed trying some things we hadn’t yet tried at tapas restaurants in Barcelona. And we appreciated the air conditioning during a hot day! :) Definitely recommend

Great tour totally recommended. Cristina was our guide and she was great, really personable and friendly and it really helped that she was local. I have done other food tours with other companies and the guides were not from the country which I think really makes a difference. The tastings were delicious and overall really a great experience.
