Barcelona Montjuïc E-bike Tour: Castle, Views & Highlights

We had a wonderful time on our scenic bicycle tour with Kiram! 🚲 He took our small group through the city, up the mountain, and away from the crowds, where we could truly enjoy the beautiful scenery. Kiram did a fantastic job sharing his knowledge of the city while giving us plenty of time to stop for photos, take in the views, and soak it all in. It was such a great way to experience the city beyond the usual tourist spots. We highly recommend Kiran if you’re looking for a memorable and scenic experience! 🌄📸

A highly recommended tour with Ilya. Great views and easy cycling on e-bikes including up to Montjuic. We didn’t want to take a tour that included the busiest spots such as Sagrada Família where we would be going another day. The cycling was very manageable, with a good pace and several stops to take in the views. The steep road up to Montjuic was easy on the good e-bikes. The tour lasted just under 3 hours including a 20 minute refreshment stop at Montjuic Olympic pool. Ilya was mostly a good guide. We saw some of the gothic quarter on our way back to the depot.

Great way to see the city especially the less crowded spots. The e-bikes did all the work for you so you could enjoy the scenery. Marina did a great job providing historical facts as well as recommendations after the tour.

We had a wonderful e-bike tour . Our guide was not only knowledgeable about Montjuic but about all of Barcelona and Catalonia. We covered a lot of ground but we never felt rushed. Our guide was so personable and shared a treasure trove of things to do in and around the area. We are so grateful for our time with Luba.

The guide for the bike tour was fabulous....very knowledgeable. The route of the tour gave great views of Barcelona, and found some spots we wouldn't have otherwise seen. My teenage boys loved the bikes, but I found them a little tricky to ride, probably because of my short stature of 150cm.

Our tour took only 1/12 hours because it was only the two of us plus the guide, i didn’t appreciate the fact that he rushed us through the whole time, because it was too hot for him; so we couldn’t really take nice pictures, he took two pictures of us and they look awful,

Do this tour on your first full day in Barcelona. Daniel was our guide and he was fantastic. He was very attentive, knowable about Barcelona history and made sure everyone had a great time. This tour will take you through the key parts of Barcelona which will help you plan future exploring. We did this tour on our third day and regretted not having done it sooner. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen :-)

It was so fun to ride the E bikes and our guide, Alex, was very informative and make sure we were all safe; we never felt intimidated by the traffic-there were bike lanes in the center of all the major streets. It was amazing to see the Olympic pools where the 1992 games were held and we loved riding all the way up to Montjuic Castle…. our family of four (2 teens) saw so much of the city in three hours and learned a great deal about history. I recommend doing the early morning tour this time of year as it gets hot. Thank you Alex!

Or guide, although young, was quite knowledgeable as well as multilingual: Catalonia, English, Spanish + The E-bikes were heavy but powerful, making uphill portions of the ride easy. A great way to see a large portion of the central area and many scenic locations.

Our guide was sensational Luigi blonde lady she was fabulous.. so helpful gave her tip she was soo good. I’m sorry I think I have her name spelling wrong but it was something like that.

Our guide, Kieran, was a very knowledgeable and accommodating leader, taking us at our speed into some very interesting and scenic areas of beautiful Barcelona. We highly recommend this experience for enjoying both the city and serene nature in one ride.

The original trip planned to ride to Montjuïc was cancelled last minute, however the shop was readily available to include us into another city tour. Alex was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and culture. He was also very good at negotiating through the streets and got a very good overview of the major sites all enjoyed via electric bicycles. Save your legs, ride a bike. We definitely recommend the tour.

This was by far the best experience I had in Barcelona! What a truly hidden gem this was, the E bike tour was amazing (no crowds, incredible views that most don't see and a brilliant guide). Our guide Marianna was so warm, inviting and kind and super FUN! The e bikes made it easy to climb the huge hills to enjoy the spectacular views. Do this tour— it will be the highlight of your time in Barcelona!

My husband and I did the tour with Luba. She was an excellent guide! She shared wonderful local knowledge and managed our group expertly.

We had an excellent experience. Our tour guide Marina, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. My sister was nervous and hadn't been on a bike in over 20 years, but our guide was very reassuring and let my sister peddle around until she felt comfortable. She also let her know that if she did not feel comfortable there was no pressure to continue. At the end of the trip my sister said she was so happy she went and it was the highlight of our Barcelona trip.

Great activity with family. Alex was extremely flexible accommodating our requests. My sons loved it; they are college students and teenagers. We got great pictures and great time.

It was a rainy day but our tour guide Dani was fantastic and made it as easy as possible. Nice way to see the city in a different vibe. Kids enjoyed it.

Fantastic experience to see the city, Montjuic Hill was incredible and we found our guide very friendly and knowledgeable.

The e-bikes we were given were terribly heavy and clunky so not much fun. Our guide, Alex, was fine, but not from Barcelona and did not seem particularly engaged or interested in what he was doing. We had thought we were going to get to the very top of the Montjuic but he said it was too hard which may or may not be true, but we should have been told ahead of time. Overall, it was "meh".

We arrived expecting to tour Montjuic Hill, but due to strikes, were offered to reschedule or another, shorter tour. Guide Pier was good, but the sites on this (amended) tour weren't spectacular, just average. Their front desk lady seemed very disorganized.

Marina was a great guide, it was a wonderful itinerary and she gave us great information along with a great place to have a wonderful salad !!!!

Pierre was an excellent guide and took us to all of the sights mentioned. The bikes were powerful and comfortable. It was a perfect way to be introduced to this beautiful city! We would do it again if we had more time.

Fun! Researched couple of the bike tours and decided in this e-bike guided tour. Marina was charming, and assured we all stayed safe and saw the best of Barcelona.

We only had 48 hours in Barcelona and weren’t sure how to make the most of it. Booking this tour was the best decision! We didn’t know what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. We saw so much in such a short time—an amazing bang for your buck!

All I can say is wow. I traveled with my family. We are made up of three teens 15, 17, and 19. We loved this tour. Our guide Pablo was awesome. Taking enough time at each stop to answer our questions and he was also very knowledgeable. This E-bike tour was perfect for exploring and seeing things that we hadn't seen yet. It was a great addition to our Sagrada Familia tour and our Park Guell visit. I would highly recommend zooming around town on a E-bike. We never felt unsafe on the tour, and I promise my wife would have let me known! Thanks for a great tour Pablo!

Pablo was fantastic! The bikes were fun and powerful. Pablo had a lot of knowledge and made the tour fun and exciting. He did a great job managing the group and answering our questions. Definitely should do this one!

It’s a great tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. Barcelona is a bustling city full of working residents and tourists and the tour guide kept us safe the entire time but you need to be alert. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a great experience overall. Although we arrived 20 minutes late due to traffic, the staff was responsive and understanding. Our tour guide, Maria, was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The e-bikes made getting around much easier, and you can adjust the level of assistance from settings 1 to 5. Even with the highest setting, biking uphill was still a bit of a challenge—I had to walk my bike for part of it, but the incline was short. Each bike came with two water bottles secured in holders, though there were no baskets, so we left most of our belongings at the office. I was glad I brought a fanny pack for essentials. There’s also a water fountain stop near the end of the tour.

Great way to see Barcelona and keep the teenagers invested. Marina was the best guide. Saw amazing sites

Amazing experience. So saw many places I would have never found on my own. The E-bikes made it effortless. Our tour guide, Pierre was amazing.

Bikes were good enough. Didn't really need an electric bike for such flat riding with so many stops for traffic lights.

We were originally booked on this tour but given the option to change to the city tour due to a guide not being available. Pier was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. We have two teenagers who were sceptical about the tour but they loved it too! Interesting information given, great sights seen and a good introduction to our stay in Barcelona!

They were HORRIBLE .The night before I tried to contact them to change the time but no one replied. When I went there they said there is no tour guide and that they “tried to contact me”but they couldn’t because my number was wrong 😑 I showed them the text I sent them to change the time as proof that they had my number if they really tried to contact me they were surprised and said “ooh we did not see it!!!! But If you want there is another tour at another time”.I did not like the way they handled it they did not even tried to explain why the tour is on the website when there is no guide!!! Where is the tour guide!!!! Over all I do not recommend them.

Great tour as it goes to areas that you are unlikely to do on your own. Luba was fantastic. We loved it.

We booked the 3-hour tour and loved every minute of it. Fabio took us past the Cathedral, through the lively Passeig de Gracia, and down to the beach. Seeing the city from a bike gave us a new perspective, and the ride was comfortable and well-paced

This bike tour gave us a perfect mix of history and modern life. Antoine guided us through the charming Gothic Quarter, past the stunning Cathedral, and finally along the beach, where we enjoyed the sea breeze. Highly recommended!

Bikes were OK. Best part of the tour was riding along the coastline. We were able to rent e-bikes at an added cost (+$35) and have them after the tour to ride on our own. You can ride to the Bellver Castle or go further out on the coastline. We do bike tours in cities everywhere we visit. Not the most interesting one, but a great way to get around. Great time of year to visit…weather was awesome!

We were a group of 8 women celebrating our 60th birthdays. Our guide, Etienne, was simply amazing. He was fun, friendly and so knowledgeable about Barcelona history. He also was able to customize our tour to the group’s interests. Highly recommend!
