Barcelona Highlights: Private Guided Tour With Hotel/port Pick-up

Wonderful experience! Aurelio and Juana were very easy to communicate with and coordinate the tours. Christian was the guide and he provided a wonderful experience - he provided a lot of context and history that really helped understand the sights. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! We were a group of four disembarking from a cruise and wanted a tour of Barcelona and to be picked up from the cruise port. Well we picked a great company for the tour. They were waiting for us after we exited the port and picked us up in a very nice large van. Marta was wonderful, helped us with our luggage and took us on a four hour tour around the city. She was very flexible and understanding when we needed a coffee break, snack and restroom visit. We would highly recommend their services. They are a family owned business and we like to use local businesses.

After doing a lot of research I choose this company as it provided the perfect experience for my mom as she is 80 and has limited mobility. Christian our guide was amazing and made us feel like family as he showed us the highlights around this beautiful city. He was very knowledgeable with the history of each site of the city. I loved that they were able to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone traveling with a family member with limited mobility. If i ever come to Barcelona again I would definitely use this company.

We took 3 separate, private tours and had a wonderful time on all three. We did a Barcelona Highlights tour with airport pickup or first day. The next day, an all day excursion l to Costa Brava and Girona. Our last day was a tour with Tony to Montserrat. Each guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Barcelona Day Tours made our brief stay in Barcelona super convenient and memorable. All pickups were on time and the vehicles were spotless and comfortable. Great tour, our day started with a flawless port pickup. Our guide Elena was the best, providing lots of information about Barcelona itself dining recommendations , places to visit in the neighborhoods of Born and Gothic areas, The tour is a great 1st day overview of Barcelona while visiting Park Gaudi , the Familia providing. If you are lucky enough to Elena as your guide you in for a special experience!

Our experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our driver, Chris, was amazing. He ensured that we got to see and do everything on our list despite a huge race that closed half the city streets and a planned protest. Chris was so knowledgeable about Barcelona and shared with us so much history and fun facts throughout the day. He navigated the city with such ease (again, despite half the streets being closed!) and communicated very clearly with us the whole day. We had no trouble finding him at pickup spots. Chris even offered to take our picture at several locations — which was so kind and beyond exceeded our expectations! Most importantly, we arrived at the cruise port with plenty of time and no stress that we would miss our embarkation. We can't thank Chris enough for such a lovely day. Booking with Barcelona Day Tours was easy and accommodating. I really appreciated all the details, the specifics and confirmation emails so we knew we were good to go before arriving in Barcelona.

My first thought is their accommodation - we stayed at a hotel that is not within their regular locations, but they arranged a pickup at our hotel, keeping us informed at the time of the booking, reminder when getting close, and the day before. We always knew what to expect. The tour guide was knowledgeable, pointing out information for places we passed while driving, and then when stopped at locations. Our group was small enough (maybe 12 to 15??) that everyone was able to keep up with the tour guide's information. Enjoyable ride around Barcelona.

This was the absolute perfect excursion to do prior to embarking on our cruise. Joau, our guide was so great. He was super knowledgeable about Barcelona and very personable. He showed us so much in our limited time and provided really good insights into Barcelona history & culture. In part because of Joau, we all want to return to Barcelona.

My wife and I only had one day to see Barcelona. After researching our options we determined the best and most efficient way would be to hire a private tour with Barcelona Day Tours. Our half day tour went very well! Joao was our driver/guide and took great care of my elderly parents and me. We had plenty of time to see the sights without rushing before the airport. We didn't want to walk too much as we were already tired from our cruise, but we were able to see many sights from simply driving around, with a few times to stop and take pictures per our request. We did the Barcelona Highlights Half-Day Small Group Shared Tour before embarking on our cruise. It was an excellent highlights tour and a great way to see all of Barcelona’s major sights in just half a day. The van was comfortable, our driver was professional, and our tour guide was very informative. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. One great benefit is that they offer pickup and drop-off at the airport, cruise terminal, or your hotel. If you schedule this as your first or last activity in Barcelona, you can combine sightseeing with your transfer and save yourself a taxi fare. Overall, a very convenient and efficient way to see the highlights of Barcelona, especially before or after a cruise.

My family and I booked this tour to get in all the big sites in Barcelona in one day and Anade (our driver) and Christine (our tour guide) did not disappoint. Since it was a private tour, we had requested to visit Park Guell and Sagrada Familia including going up the towers as part of our tour. We were able to get through everything we wanted to see in 8 hours. Christine took us all around Barcelona, passing by Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Camp Nou, seeing the whole of Barcelona from the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. It was a great way to see the city within a day, allowing us to figure out where we wanted to go and see next. Also having hotel pick up and drop off was perfect, as we didn't have to worry about navigating to a pick up point. The AC'd van was another bonus, as it was very warm on the day of our tour. So coming back to AC and being driven to our next stop provided some rest in between sites. We all had a great time!

We had a private tour from Barcelona to Begur. We stopped at Tossa de Mar and Girona on the way. Our guide Marta was fabulous, interesting and knowledgeable. Our driver Alex was considerate and a great driver. Absolutely worth the money.

Our guide was excellent. They picked us up from NCL and we had a 4 hour tour. We saw so much in the 4 hours it was amazing.

We actually booked both a full days private tour Barcelona and Montserrat and a half day tour of Barcelona. "Christian the Germin" was our guide/driver and he was great. He was very good at hearing ours desires and preferences and tailoring things to best address them. He knew a lot of history as well as ways to see things and avoid crowds to the extent possible. While driving, he would stop and let us take photos or alert us that it was a location he coud not stop but we could prepare and take photos from the car. He was quite considerate of tailoring the tour to accomodate some bad knees. In addition to the things I had heard about and wanted to see, he also suggested others that he thought would interest us. A highlight was a market. When they started to plan some renovations, they discovered some very significant roman ruins under it. It is know a free museum of those ruins and is absolutely fascinating.

We flew into Barcelona and Christian, our guide from Barcelona Day Tours, was there at the airport waiting for us. He took us on a four hour tour around the city and tailored our tour to places that we didn't already have pre-booked tickets for, so that we could see even more of Barcelona during our few days there. The tour was great, Christian was great, and we highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours to anyone travelling to Barcelona. They had great communication with us too.

With only having one day in Barcelona, setting up a day tour with Barcelona Day Tours (Dory) made for a wonderful time and experience. Dory was great to work with to set up the tour - she was very communicative and professional while she shaped the tour to meet our interests while setting realistic expectations on what we should or shouldn't see with our limited time. Our holiday was perfect and one of the standout experiences was our tour with Joao. He showed up on time in a beautifully well maintained and roomy vehicle for the four of us. We found him engaging, funny and very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona. We enjoyed seeing the sites of the 1992 Olympics and learning how Barcelona continues to prosper from that single event. Our tour also included stops for The Barcelona Cathedral and The Gothic quarters. We never knew about Antonio Gaudi or the fabulous Sagrada Familia Basilica and Casa Batllo that he designed. Joao gave us an education on both and we were fascinated! Before we finished, he asked if there was anything he missed that we might like to see. We told him no, but we would love a recommendation for a tapas lunch. I don’t recall the name of that inside venue which was like a food court, but we loved it and the food was delicious! We would highly recommend their services as it made us love the beautiful city of Barcelona!

We are a family of five who had about 4 hours to see Barcelona after getting off a cruise ship. We had a private pickup at the cruise port and had a vehicle to ourselves to hold all of our luggage. We had a wonderful tour, and our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We saw some great highlights! At the end of the tour, we were dropped off at the Barcelona Airport. It was a great use of our time so we saw as much of Barcelona as possible.

We found our tour to be quite informative! Our guide was a lovely woman who was passionate about the history of Barcelona. The driver expertly navigated the congested streets getting us close to the stops. It was an enjoyable way to get to know the city in a short time! Pick up from the port and transfer to the hotel after the tour was efficient. We had a very clean, air conditioned van for our family of 5. Bottled water was provided as well. This was an excellent way to experience the highlights of Barcelona as well as have transportation from the ship to our hotel. Highly recommended!

As I look at the pictures I remember not only the amazing places that we visited but the amazing people we met. Elena being one of them. Not only did she give us the feeling of safety and knowledge she felt like family. She truly has a gift of knowledge and has just the right amount of energy to engage with the group. We ranged from age 13 to 75. We had several tour guides on our trip and can honestly say Elena amongst the best. We will remember her forever. Thanks again.

How nice to step off the cruise ship and have a luxury, air conditioned vehicle waiting to whisk us away for a private, full day tour of Barcelona. Our guide, Jay, was very knowledgeable and kept us ahead of the crowds and on schedule. We were finally able to visit the famous Sagrada Família with a tour of the Passion Tower, which was our main goal. We were able to enjoy it at our leisure without feeling rushed at all. Quick lift up to the tower, and 400+ steps down. After a day of very comfortable touring, we were dropped off on the steps of our hotel. The convenience of our post cruise experience was truly incredible. Thank you for the most memorable day!

This was my first time in Spain. I had only a few hours in Barcelona before leaving to meet a friend. The company was super flexible, and the tour allowed me to see much of Barcelona with the limited hours I had. Private tour of Barcelona from airport pick up to drop off at hotel. We were met at the airport by our guide Ricardo as arranged and escorted to our tour vehicle. The vehicle was spacious, clean and tidy with free bottled water provided and replenished. Ricardo spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable of Barcelona and its history. Despite the difficulties of arriving on the Tour De France weekend we were taken to all the places listed in the itinerary plus allowed time to exit the vehicle and view a couple of locations including the Sagrada Família. At the conclusion of the tour we were dropped off next to our hotel. The tour allowed us to orientate ourselves and maximise our 3 night stay. We would recommend this tour.

we had a very smooth travel from cruise port to hotel stopping in between for various Barcelona points Richard was amazing and we would love to have him again on our or our friends’ next trip to Barcelona We left a bag in the car and he came and delivered it in the evening We were very grateful For that. We had a wonderful experience with Marta from Barcelona Day Tours! She spoke fluent English and did an excellent job keeping our large group on schedule, even with a few stragglers along the way. The van was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was an extremely hot day, but Marta helped us navigate the city comfortably and made sure everyone’s needs and preferences were accommodated. She was very knowledgeable about Barcelona’s history, local culture, and must-see sights. The tour with Jordi was fantastic! He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the city. Traffic to the cruise port was horrendous!!!! We were stuck in traffic for over 3 hours but Jordi never panicked and managed to get us to the port just before the final all aboard time. We were very grateful. Christine was excellent! She picked us up from the BCN airport and gave us so much information about Park Güell, La Sagrada Família, and the surrounding areas during our half-day private tour. Afterward, she went above and beyond by helping us get three taxis to take our group of nine back to our hotel in the Gothic quarter (restricted vehicle area). We are incredibly grateful for her help, as the seniors in our group were very hot and tired. This tour was the best travel decision. My tour guide Christian was knowledgeable, couteous, flexible, prompt and kind. Having the tour pick me up from the airport, drive me on a tour of Barcelona and then take me to the hotel was a convenient, easy, efficient way to spend time before checkin. I visited two museums, rode in an air conditioned car, didn't have to stress about directions or taxis and I learned a lot. My guide also provided a map and recommended ideas for my second day on my own, which was invaluable.

We had a 4-hour tour that included a great overview of Barcelona including a private tour of the Sagrada Familia. We were very impressed with Iban's knowledge of the city and how quickly he was able to get us into the Sagrada Familia (we bypassed all lines). Iban was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about construction and design of the Sagrada Familia which was the highlight of the tour.

We absolutely LOVED our Barcelona Tour with our tour guide Hugo! We were a party of 6 and he was waiting for us at the port as we disembarked. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, polite and did a fantastic job of driving us around while pointing out sites and their history. Our tour included Park Guell with the skip the line tickets included. Due to the Pope being at the Sagrada Familia the previous day, and our tour of the Sagrada being canceled, we were so blessed and thankful that he was able to squeeze in a quick stop at the Sagrada Familia so we could take a few pictures!
