The communication from the tour operator was constant, which was helpful for me as I had some uncertainty about what pier the boat would be docking at.The pick up from the port was seamless! Our driver was friendly and very accommodating to what we were interested in. We saw some iconic sights in Barcelona and brought to our hotel. I would hands down recommend! It made our embarkation from our ship a cake walk!!!

The Puerto Olímpico de Barcelona is a leisure port located in front of Villa Olímpica, between the beaches of Barceloneta and Nova Icària, in the San Martín district.
The Sagrada Familia is a catholic basilica projected by Antonio Gaudí. The construction began in 1882 and it's going on to this day. It's considered Gaudí's masterpiece, one of Spain's main attractions and the most visited church in Europe, just after Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. When its construction concludes, it will be the tallest christian church in the world.
Paseo de Gracia is one of the main avenues in Barcelona. It's full of commercial and business areas; it also includes lots of important examples of Modernist Architecture, such as the Casa Batlló or la Pedrera by Antoni Gaudí, and other houses by great Catalan architects like Lluís Domènech i Montaner. These buildings are considered to be part of the World Heritage by the Unesco. The avenue is located in the center of Barcelona, the Ensanche, and it connects Plaza Cataluña to the east with the Calle Mayor de Gracia to the west.
The Casa Milà, commonly known as "La Pedrera" is a Modernist building by Antoni Gaudí, built between 1906 and 1910. It is one of the most visited buildings in Barcelona, with 20 million visitors since its opening to the public in 1987.
The Casa Batlló is a building built by Antoni Gaudí, the greatest exponent of the Catalan "Modernisme" (a modernist Catalan movement). The construction was between 1904 and 1906. It is located in the number 43 of Paseo de Gracia, in the named "Manzana de la Discordia" (literally "Apple of Discord"). This name was born due to the concentration of modernist buildings by different architects: la Casa Amatller, la Casa Lleó i Morera, la Casa Mulleras and la Casa Josefina Bonet.
The Casa Amatller is a Modernist building adjacent to the Casa Batlló and near the Casa Lleó i Morera. It was projected by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch between 1898 and 1900.
The Casa Lleó i Morera is a Modernist building built by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It's located in the number 35 in Paseo de Gracia.
Plaza Cataluña is a centric square in Barcelona, one of the city's nerve centers. It has an area of 5 hectares. It constitutes the point of union between the old town of Barcelona and the Ensanche (one of the city's districts).
The Vía Layetana is a street that communicates the Ensanche with the Port traversing Ciutat Vella. It received its name in honor of the first Iberian inhabitants of the area.
The Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de la Santa Cruz y Santa Eulalia is the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona. The Cathedral was built between the XIIIth and XVth Centuries over the old Romanesque cathedral, which was also built over a paleochristian basilica, remains of which can be seen in the underground of the Museo de Historia de la Ciudad. Its facade is more modern than the rest of the building (XIXth Century) but it shares style with the totality of the Cathedral. This building is considered to be Asset of Cultural Interest and since the 2nd of November 1929, National Artistic Historical Monument.
The Barrio Gótico is a district with charm that has many medieval alleys full of trendy bars, pubs and Catalan restaurants. The artisans sell leather goods and beading products next to the Cathedral, and flower stands and food can be found in the busy Rambla. At the Plaza del Pi, named this way thanks to its basilica, there is an art market every weekend.
The Paseo de Colón is an avenue in the Ciudad Vieja District, that runs parallel to the sea between the squares of Antonio López and Puerta de la Paz, where you will find the Colombus Monument.
The Columbus Monument is an scultoric complex located in the square Portal de la Paz in Barcelona. Built in honor of Christopher Colombus, it stands in the point of union between las Ramblas and the Paseo de Colón, in front of the old port of Barcelona. The monument was built during the context of improvement of the coastal part of the city on the score of the Universal Exposition of Barcelona of 1888. Inaugurated the 1st of June 1888 during the Exposition, it quickly became one of the most characteristic icons of the city. On the inside of the column there is an elevator that allows you to go up to a half sphere situated below the feet of the statue, where you can view the city.
The Castillo de Montjuic is an old militar fortress located in the mountain of Montjuïc. Historically the castle has had an important role during different relevant chapters of the History of Barcelona.
The Jardins del Mirador del Alcalde are located in Montjuïc, in the Sants-Montjuïc District. They were elaborated between 1962 and 1969 by Joaquim Casamor, while the monumental fountain was made by Carles Buïgas. Next to this viewpoint we can find one of Montjuïc's cableway's stops.
Anella Olímpica (Olympic Ring) is the name of the space and group of sportive facilities located in Montjuïc receive, that were built or restored for the Barcelona 1992 Olympics. It has an approximate area of 400 hectares.
The Estadio Olímpico is a sports venue situated in Montjuïc. The original stadium was inaugurated the 20th of May of 1929 by Alfonso XIII, a day after the International Exposition. On the score of the Olympics of 1992, the stadium was rebuilt practically in its totality (1985-1989), being re-inaugurated 60 years later as "Estadio Olímpico" the 8th of September of 1989 by king Juan Carlos I. Designed by Barcelona based architect Pere Domènech i Roura, son of modernist architect Domènech i Montaner, it was projected to house future Olympics, that after aplying 4 times, would arrive to Barcelona 63 years later.
The Palau Sant Jordi is a multifunctional pavilion on Montjuïc. It was built on the score of the Olympic Games of 1992, inaugurated in 1990. It is considered the gem of the so-called "Anillo Olímpico de Montjuïc", which also include facilities such as the Estadio Olímpico and the Pisicinas Picornell (Picornell Pools).
The Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña (MNAC) stands out thanks to its Romanesque Art collection, considered to be one of the most complete ones in the world. Also known as Palacio Nacional (National Palace), it was built for the International Exposition of 1929.
The Pueblo Español is an outdoor architectural museum located in Montjuïc, close to the Magical Fountain. The enclosure contains 117 life-sized buildings that represent a typical Spanish village, with its streets, houses, squares, theatre, school, restaurants and artisanal workshops. It was built due to the International Exposition of 1929. At the beginning, it was planned that the enclosure would be built only for 6 months (the duration of the Exposition), but the success this place had allowed this place to remain complete to this day.
The Magical Fountain of Montjuïc was built on the score of the International Exposition of 1929 by Carles Buïgas in the place where the Four Columns by Puig i Cadafalch were located. During the 80s, music was incorporated to the fountain's show, and just before the Olympic Games of 1992 in Barcelona they were totally restored. The fountain was also one of the external stages for the celebration of the MTV Europe Music Awards 2002. Since 2013, the Barcelona Campanadas (a New Years' Spanish tradition) are celebrated in this place.
The towers to access the enclosure of the Exposition of 1929, known as "Torres Venecianas", are two twin ornamental towes, located at the intersection of Avenida de la Reina María Cristina with Plaza España. The name "Torres Venecianas" is due to their similarity with the belfry of Saint Mark in Venice. Built by Ramon Reventós as the access of the enclosure of the International Exposition in Barcelona; nowadays they work as the access to the enclosure of Montjuïc's Fira Barcelona.
Barcelona's Plaza España is one of the most emblematic points of the city. It was built during the International Exposition of 1929, following a project by Puig i Cadafalch and Guillem Busquets. It was finished by Antoni Darder. It is an important center of the city's traffic from which you can acces to the area of Montjuïc, and where the Feria de Muestras and the Museo Nacional de Arte de Cataluña (MNAC) are located. Other relevant buildings in the square are the Centro Comercial Las Arenas (old bullring and actual mall, artwork in "neomudéjar" style, an Islamic inspired style), as well as the so-called Torres Venecianas, inspired by the famous belfry in Venice, built by Ramon Reventós for the International Exposition of 1929.

The driver was very nice and accommodating with flexibility to see things if particular interest. 10 out of 20 would purchase again
Marta and Angel were great hosts for our experience in Barcelona. We had just come off a very long trip (London 6 days, Cruise for 12). We were all exhausted, but they provided a great review of Barcelona, the major highlights and made exiting the ship easy.
We spent four hours with Carlos and felt like we got such a great taste of Barcelona. He was informative, professional and friendly. At the end of our tour he dropped us off at BCN. Would 100% use this company again!
We had a great time with Mari! She was knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our needs. A great way to see Barcelona with someone who was born and raised in Barcelona.
Great experience in a more relaxed atmosphere and with a more private environment. We received great historical information and insights.
This was our second time using this tour company when debarking from a cruise in Barcelona. It's the ultimate convenience, and makes the most of the few hours you may have in the city before departing. I was in contact with the driver/guide (Carlos) as we arrived in port, and he met us with a sign right outside the cruise luggage collection. They have a set tour that hits all the Barcelona highlights, which is what we did on our first trip, and which is an excellent overview. This time we had prebooked the Guell park (which as an aside definitely requires pre-booking -- you can't just show up on the day and hope to get in, as we learned on our first trip), so Carlos modified the tour itinerary to accommodate stopping at the park and other places we wanted to see this time around. The van is large, pleasant, and secure -- we felt comfortable leaving all our luggage in it whenever we left it to tour (Carlos usually remained in the van). Carlos himself was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and spoke excellent English. Our first guide was equally excellent. If we're lucky enough to take another cruise that stops or ends at Barcelona, we will definitely book this company again. Thank you!
Our driver Carlos was very accommodating and helpful. He made sure we were able to accomplish what we wanted to do with the limited time we had. He brought us to a great restaurant (Salamanca) by the beach and the port where we had an excellent paella before taking us to the cruise port just in time to embark.
This tour goes to all the major sights in Barcelona. Our driver was very nice and knowledgeable and our guide Mirea was extremely good! Her English is excellent and her knowledge is deep. We customized the tour on the spot because we had seen some of the highlights on a previous day. Both Mirea and our driver were flexible. We highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for this service. Yandry our driver was on time, in a nice large vehicle, he was knowledgeable, flexible on our tour, and delivered everyone where they needed to go. He delivered us to our Hotel, other friends to the Airport, and others back to the ship terminal. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this service.
Our driver Carlos was very helpful in giving us the tour we were wanting. We were being picked up from the cruise terminal and needed to be dropped off near the airport. It was nice to just take a leisurely private tour of the town and visited a number of places that he let us get out for a few minutes and see without having to wait for an entire bus-load of people.
Positive experience overall. The guide, Anna was knowledgeable and kept us engaged most of the time. We requested her to take us to places where we are capture a lot of memories through our lenses but most of the places we went to were just blah. They were nice places but weren’t too exciting. We have traveled to so many countries and have seen so many amazing places that our expectations are very high, which honestly were not fully met during the tour. That said, it was overall a good tour. Anna took us to all the places we wanted to see and some. Anna at one point thought I was going to jaywalk, which I found annoying. And we felt a bit rushed at the end, even though we had plenty of time remaining. Other than that, the driver was really nice and professional.
Our guide was great. We literally went right in to the security line with the skip the line. The information he provided, the places he took us, were all outstanding. If you go in the afternoon and the sun is out, which it was, the colors from the light through the stained glass were amazing. A must see that is unlike anything else in the world.
Great service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed our private tour of Barcelona. Highly recommend their services.
Aida, showed us the highlights of Barcelona in 4 hours. With her 30 years experience you could not ask for a better guide. Great experience. Ali was a great driver…they make a good team
Our family had the great experience with this company and will be happy to repeat it when we are back in Barcelona. Carlos was our driver and Aida was our guide. Both are fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend this company.
Highly recommend. I was a Celebrity Event Planner for many years and have traveled extensively. We had only a few days in Barcelona & wanted to maximize the time. Our guide was wonderful & customized the tour to our interests and needs. The driver was great and very attentive. It was like spending the afternoon with a close friend who lived in the city. Well worth the price. It left us with such a fantastic impression of Barcelona that we will absolutely be back.
Just had two days in town so we learned alot of info in just 4 hours. Enjoyed it ...was great fun. We got all the highlights. Wonderful guide. We'll worth it. Highly recommend 👌
Our driver, Daniel, was very nice and knowledgeable. He asked us what we wanted to see and made sure we saw it. It was great having port pick up. Highly recommend for cruisers who want a taste of Barcelona
Wonderful knowledgeable guide. Pristine vehicle. Very helpful and accommodating. One of the highlights of our trip!
We had a wonderful morning in Barcelona with Daniel. While he’s primarily a driver, he took us to several beautiful spots, including a scenic overlook with views of the entire city. We were even able to stop for photos in front of a stunning cathedral before the crowds arrived. He then dropped us right across the street from La Sagrada Familia for our tour, and later transferred us to Port Olympic for a sailing day. Daniel was very accommodating and made getting around Barcelona smooth and enjoyable.
We did a 4 hour tour of Barcelona with Carlos. It was excellent. We have been travelling in Europe for 9 days and this was by far our most enjoyable. Carlos was knowledgeable, efficient, professional, personable, humorous, accommodating and courteous. Highly recommended. We want to come back to Barcelona and spend a few days to experience in more detail.
At our own pace, everything we wanted to see. Prefect pickup, on time, very friendly, and a pleasure to speak with. Made us very comfortable and familiar with the area our hotel was in, too.
The driver's English was extremely poor and very limited. He spoke so quietly I had to sit in the front and repeat everything to the rest of our group. I speak Spanish and he didn't speak that either. Told me he'd been in Barcelona less than 2 years----very disappointed. We didn't request a guide, however, we would have hoped he would have been able to answer some very basic questions--i.e. "is it always warm in Barcelona" or "what time do shops typically open".
This was a wonderful way to see Barcelona! Our driver Yandry and our guide Mari were wonderful and flexible. They showed us the major sites in Barcelona and allowed us time to get out and see the locations and take pictures etc. This was challenging with two children and two senior citizens, but they were patient and took the time needed to see the locations. They were flexible with tickets we had to the Sagrada de Familia and made our time in Barcelona memorable!
Travel agent always quick to respond to questions and customization of the trip. Carlos our guide was awesome, flexible and responsive with my family’s needs. He was very knowledgeable too. Highly recommended!
For those wanting to see as much of Barcelona as you can in a few hours, while being tended to in comfortable transportation and being directed by a charming and knowledgeable guide, then this tour is perfect. Our guide was outstanding and was a thoughtful interpreter to the input we provided about what we hoped to get out of the day. He also took care to manage the tour for my elderly parents, who were participating and have some mobility limitations. That said, we still journeyed across many of the major attractions across Barcelona from the Montjuic area to the beaches to Sagrada Familia and much more. It was very impressive how much we were able to squeeze into the day. High recommend.
Easy way to transition back to reality from the cruise and see major attractions and a layout of the city. Driver was great!
Daniel was an excellent driver and tour guide. He allowed us to customize our half day tour to see specific landmarks and have some time at the beach and Gothic Quarter to explore on our own. He was punctual, well dressed and very friendly. Overall, we saw everything that we wanted to and it was a great overall experience.
Many photo opportunities and no rushing was involved. Daniel our driver was personable and polite. A wonderful experience was had.
Our driver was a MAGNIFICENT man!! He cared for our safety, our entire time with him was awesome! He was very attentive and knowledgeable!! He assisted us with photos too! We were chauffeured around in a clean, stylish black Mercedes Benz van like we were VIP!!
Great private tour. Saw all the major sites in Barcelona in a short time. Driver was knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Very pleasant and friendly. Reasonable cost for a private tour.
The tour was well planned and the vehicle and driver made us very comfortable. We would definitely use this service again!
Great way to tour! Carlos is magnificent!! Very knowledgeable, kind, respectful and easy on the eyes 😊
A Barcelona must do! Our tour guide Cecilla was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the city's history, culture, and architecture
Visited Barcelona for three days in Feb 25 and booked a 4 hour tour by car to see the city. Picked up from the Serras hotel and then we enjoyed 4 hours in the company of Carlos, as we covered the key sites of the city. He was a great guy and his knowledge of Barcelona and Catalonia shone through. He managed to park his (very clean) Mercedes very close to the sites and left us to explore; we never felt rushed. Highly recommend. Thank you Carlos for a great morning.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Carlos! It was the perfect way to see Barcelona on the day we arrived on an overnight flight. The vehicle was clean and large, and Carlos gave lots of great info about the area. We highly recommend this tour!
Driver Carlos was great. Very professional and courteous providing the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the whole experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.
Yandry was amazing. Car was spotless and he opened doors for us at every opportunity, and pulled over whenever we wanted to get pictures
David was the most amazing guide. We feel so fortunate to have had him as our tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about every aspect of Barcelona and recommended the most fantastic places to visit. The driver, Angel, was also wonderful, accommodating, and very adroit at making his way ( safely) through Barcelona traffic (which could be harrowing at times). Overall, it far surpassed my expectations and was absolutely worth spending the extra money. If I return to Barcelona I would definitely request David and Angel again above all others. Absolutely wonderful experience!!!
We had a wonderful time! Our driver Carlos was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend. Loved the whole experience!
My driver was very personable as well as knew alot about Barcelona for not being a native. He took us to the AC 37 yacht club on the beach where we had a lovely lunch before being dropped off back at the high speed train where he made sure we knew exactly where to check in. He was waiting for us in the am with a sigh right where we exited the train. Very nice day!
All BCN architecture is truly stunning & with a sense of design like no other city I've seen in the world. We loved the ebb & flow of all the curved edges on several of the buildings. And then there's the outstanding seafood at Salamanca Silvestre, which our driver recommended. The 🥂 was even more incredible! We tried Muga Rioja. Loved the almond cake with a citronella liqueur served for dessert. Our driver Landry was remarkable in knowledge & command of the English language 👏 👌. He was able to show us all we listed ahead we wanted to see in a limited time slot. He made the tour 5 🌟 for us! Viator's communication from the start was excellent! We knew just where to meet. I am not finding that in Rome with this company thus far. Thank you Viator BCN & especially Landry! Fabulous.
We had a fantastic tour with Carlos. His manner and driving was so professional and we were at ease with him. The car was exemplary and we had plenty of time to stop and take pictures and enjoy our time. Absolutely wonderful!
I decided on the option with guide plus driver. I have been to Barcelona before and as I wanted to learn from the locals, our guide was ideal, this was her hometown. She tailored our plan according to our interests and the fact that we already knew well some areas. Also, as I like walking, she planned it one way and as we had the driver available, he would pick us up at the end and take us to the next location. Drivers are very professional, clean vehicles.
A wonderful day spent with Carlos, Who spoke excellent English. We were only in Barcelona for a day prior to going on a Cruise and during a heatwave, so seeing all the places on our wish list in the comfort of air conditioning, was a brilliant way to get a taste of barcelona. Communication at all times prior to us booking was also excellent. Happy to recommend this company. This is not technically a guided tour ( if you wish to pay extra for a qualified tour guide to join you, it can be arranged.) Carlos stayed with the car, when we got out to take photos, but he did give us a potted history of what we were looking at.
Our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and passionate. Could not have asked for a better tour guide.
Probably one of the best drivers and tours we have ever had!!! Our amazing driver took us to the most beautiful places off the beaten tourist path! As the tour was winding down we asked about a recommendation for lunch!! We were not disappointed! The best lunch we ever had!!!
We booked this private tour to take place right after we concluded a cruise in Barcelona, and it was the best decision we could have made. While a private tour sounds like an extravagance, it was actually not much more expensive than the cruise line's transfer options, given that we had 5 people in our party. We were picked up directly from our cruise first thing in the morning, dropped our luggage at our hotel, and then spent the rest of the time seeing Barcelona with no traffic, given the early hour. We saw pretty much everything we wanted to. By the time our tour ended, the city traffic had started and the tourist crowds were getting out of control, so our timing was perfect, and I would highly recommend this strategy. About the tour itself -- the driver was absolutely lovely! Great English, safe driver, offered little informational tidbits along the way, and was willing to take us wherever we wanted to go, with suggestions on how to organize the trip for the most efficiency and success. Most of our group had not been to Barcelona before, so this was the ideal way to see the major landmarks in a short amount of time, and without stress. J&G (the company) had excellent communication about the booking ahead of time. I would definitely recommend both the company and this method of seeing the city while getting yourself between cruise and hotel.
It was a good experience, but not really worth the money. It felt a bit rushed and the communication between the guide and the company was not great.
