Barcelona Gaudi Bike Tour: Modernist Highlights By Bike Or E-bike

Booked tour the day of for a private group. We were a little late but they were very accommodating and got us outfitted and on the road quickly. Great guid and fun easy paced tour. Plenty of time at each stop for explaining the site and getting photos. No need for e bike upgrades, we rode regular bikes and were fine. I would definitely try this again.

Alex did an exceptional job of keeping us safe and of explaining the sites to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Directions and meeting point instructions are not correct. Just give the address to the shop. Don’t play games with “located in front of the Ark the Triumph” stuff to confuse travelers. Keep it simple. Tour was fun and the guide was informative.

I did this tour yesterday morning with my wife and children, 7 and 10. It’s is very flat and doable with an ordinary (non e-bike). It’s a lovely way to see the city. Our guide, Artem, was excellent - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and friendly. It took about 2.5 hours.

We had a good tour with Kieren, on ebikes, around Barcelona. The main problem we had was that the bike given to my daughter, did not work very well. Because she was a bit smaller, they gave her a Scott MTB/eBike. The motor was really underpowered on the bike, which left her struggling to get up hills. I had one of the big orange ones, which worked well. We swapped bikes at the end, and agreed that her bike was way underpowered. Which spoiled the trip a bit, because I booked the ebikes so she would have an easy time. Anyway, the rest of the tour was quite good.

I’m 61 years old and the E-bike was the way to go. Marina was our guide and she did a great job informing us and keeping us all together. Thank you, Marina!

This is a great tour of Barcelona, covered the main areas of interest. Our guide Kat was friendly and knowledgable, my husband had a flat tyre and a spare bike was brought out to us - great service. Would recommend the e-bikes.

Great way to see a lot of Barcelona. Traffic gets a little dicey at some spots, but overall we really enjoyed it.

We went as a group of 11 for a friends birthday we had the most amazing time. We were welcomed warmly and valuable looked after. Very accommodating with use of toilets and a free bottle of water for everyone. The tour guide was fantastic and adapted the tour to our needs. What a fab fun filled bike tour. We booked the Historic bike tour as a party of 11, we arrived at our booked time, it was only us booked on so our tour guide Luba (Love) was spot on for us. We explained we had a restaurant booked, we wanted to see the key sights but also to include the Sagrada Família that wasn’t included in our tour, she completely understood our request and tailored the tour to what we wanted. We visited a number of key sights with a great detailed description, informative and knowledgeable without being scripted, Luba was very passionate and cared about the sights and their history wanting to share her knowledge with us. She took us down to the beach to see and experience this, and then onto Sagrada Família. Each stop she shared information, allowed time for photos, time for us to enjoy the areas where we wanted to and importantly for us refreshement stops to keep our spirits up too!! We ‘cycled’ about 5 miles but the e-bike assistance made this feel a breeze. The bike routes are all so well set up and Luba ensured we were all safe and together where she could whilst keeping things moving too! We were 11 friends on an ‘Extreme Day Trip’ celebrating my 40th and Luba completely read what we all wanted, joined in with our fun, was very patient with our big booking and contributed to us having the best possible time we could. She super kindly bought me a keepsake Barcelona magnet to look back on our memory. Superb experience that brought fun and laughter to a great way to see the sights of Barcelona in a short space of time!! Highly highly recommend!!!!💛💛💛

They were so accommodating to our group of 3. We had to catch an earlier flight and had to end our tour 1/2 way through. Tour guide great.

The tour guide would not make space for questions. He would talk and move on. This tour was just okay.

I was on vacation in Barcelona for 10 days and have scheduled all week for tours but most of the days or all week have been raining and cold except for the day of the scheduled bike tour. I got there early and upgraded my bike tour to e-bike. Since, weather wasn’t cooperating for me some days, few of my tours have been postponed or cancelled, and luckily we have a small group for this bike tour. I like bike tour because you can see more tourists attractions every stop. Our tour guide was Alex who is an amazing person, experienced and very knowledgeable guide, with excellent customer service and exceptional tour guide in BCN! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Barcelona and ask or request for Alex as your tour guide! I give it a 5 stars and 10/10 perfect score! Book yours now!

Our guide was very good . We didn’t find the bikes very easy to ride and two of the lower gears on my husband’s bike weren’t working well. Was also disappointed as didn’t go to as many venues as advertised.

Excellent way to enjoy Barcelonas beautiful and well kept streets, monuments, architecture and infrastructure. Pablo is a very well informed and friendly guide, when booking ask for him . Thanks to Pablo we learned to use a Segway in 10 minutes.

Kieran was an awesome guide who knew a lot about the city. All of our stops were interesting and significant to the history of Barcelona. The E-Bikes were smooth & efficient and made the journey relaxing. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Barca without the stuffiness of a typical guided tour.

It was a great experience! Me and my wife took our 2 year old daughter, she slept half way to the ride and they were able to accommodate us by dropping off the bikes in the middle of our experience, excellent experience and very good staff!!

We have done a lot of city bike tours worldwide so we know what to expect. We did not come in with a reservation and it was great that they were able to accommodate our party of 8. But other than that , I was very disappointed by the management. We had about 45 mins before the tour guide would arrive, but they did not plan ahead for the things needed to start the tour. We were supposed to start the tour at 4, then they started bringing the bikes out, filling forms etc. In the waiting period, they should have asked us and the technician to adjust the bike heights, select the helmet sizes and sign the waivers. Nevertheless the guide was under the impression we were on the daily 4:15 tour for 2 hours, but we had paid for a private 3 hour tour since we had kids with us and needed to go slow. Once we got started, the tour guide provided superficial information- I wish we would have learned more about the history and whereabouts of Barcelona.the e bikes were great, but the guide was not able to give some good instructions on go and stop and help the kids. We are very good bikers so were able to guide the kids on pedaling up slope etc. But it didn’t feel like a full tour that we have come to expect worldwide.

Very fun and good way to see a lot of attractions in a short time. Also very refreshing on a hot day.

Our tour guide, Sergi, was a lovely guy. Very well experienced and very friendly. Took us through the heart of Barcelona and told us many interesting facts about the history behind Barcelona and its many beautiful building. Would highly recommend if you’re a fan of bikes or want to see the city from a different perspective!

Had a great time Sergey was our guide he was really nice. It was a small group 5 of us. He made lots of stops at places we have never been to. He had a book with photos to show us what the inside of the places he was talking about which I really enjoyed. He made sure everyone was safe and that we stayed together. I highly recommend this tour.

There is no better way to get familiar with the layout of the city - and Barcelona is ideal for biking. Kieran, our guide, was knowledgeable about the highlights of our tour, great to chat with, and set the perfect pace. Highly recommend!

We had Katrin for our Bike Tour. I can’t say enough about the experience, learned ALOT about 7-8 Barcelona Historic Sites/Parks. She took the time to explain and be fun at the same time. She was concerned about the safety of all riders (scooters, taxis & pedestrians move VERY quickly around the city and you must be vigilant of traffic lights) . We were only in the city for one day, waiting to board our cruise ship, so it enabled us to see a lot without navigating the city on our own! Our E-bikes worked great, would recommend over regular bikes, as you have a long route.

Sadly, this was the worst tour I've every had. The guide was ill equipped to provide a tour. She (Maria) was not happy in her job. We started 45 minutes late. One of the bikes provided was not rideable. She did not want to have it repaired but only did so when I insisted that it be fixed. We only visited 5 of the 11 sites listed. Maria was not attentive to the group and would ride off without telling us. Very often she would go to the next site without a word and we had to try and find her. She led us through pathways that were meant only for pedestrians raising the ire of the locals. We never went to the Basílica de la Sagrada Familia. She terminated the tour after 1 hour 45 minutes. The tour was supposed to last up to 3 hours. When I and others asked for a refund they refused and said we had to request it through Trip Adviser. Sad.

Pablo was a great tour guide, even in the pouring rain. Our tour was only lessened by the horrible weather. We were provided ponchos, but it was a very rainy cold day. Thankfully we rented the E-bikes, which allowed us to see more of the city quickly! Despite the rain, Pablo was able to show us many city highlights and gave great history at each stop! We biked around in the wind and rain, and saw all the tourist spots we expected to see. He spoke excellent English and gave the best rain tour possible. Would absolutely recommend Pablo, this tour and the E-bikes… bet it would have been fantastic if it had been a sunny day!

Serg did a great job, he had some great knowledge and helped us navigate a heavily trafficked and rainy day. My 76 year old parents were with us and he was very considerate about waiting on them and helping when needed. We would love to come back and do it again...in the sunshine!

The sites and locations we visited were very interesting and were given interesting facts and pictures. It was a great way to see Barcelona.

We enjoyed following Serge around the sites. He was very friendly, polite and considerate to all in the group. We felt we were in safe hands. The bikes were excellent and the tour was both interesting and insightful and very doable. We thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant trip - got to see parts of the city I had no idea of, and learnt loads from our lovely guide. Bikes were all well maintained and good to go - felt very much ‘looked after’ and defo recommend a tour if you are in the city on a break.

i can’t imagine a better way to see Barcelona. We coveted most of the city from Sigrada Familia to several Gaudi properties and the Parc Ciutadella. our guide, Marina, was fantastic; she provided information on all stops and even shared additional areas of interest. Orange Fox had great communication and reviewed the bikes in a very friendly and caring way. The E-bikes were great, good power and plenty of battery life. I’d reccomend this tour.

Really enjoyed the bike tour had some great stops and sites that we seen . The tour guide was excellent explaining each stop as we went along would recommend .

We, my boyfriend and myself decided to book this last minute and worked out great for us. Our guide was Serge. Amazing way to get around the city and see where things are. We would totally do it again. Used an ebike and it made it much easier. The guide had lots of information about the places we stopped and also gave us some suggestions of what else to see on our own time. They were organized and very helpful. I had an issue with my bike and at the 3rd stop they came was swapped it out. Excellent and I would definitely recommend it. Also if you decided that you wanted to go back to any of the places and take a tour at least you knew if it is worth it.

We booked the tour same day, arrived to find tour was canceled by vendor and we should not have been able to even book. Tried to get refunded, waiting hear back from viator…..

Very insightful tour by Sergey! Well planned itinerary. Sergey explained facts very well. They also provided basic training and water.

Was an excellent tour. Bikes were in great condition and our tour guide (Peter) was fantastic. He was careful to make sure we were always safe and also had an excellent knowledge base about the city and the attractions. I appreciated how he would pull up photos on his phone to provide extra context and bring the buildings to life. For the most part (almost entirely actually) the tour was fairly flat so I think if I was to do it again I would use a regular bike rather than an e-bike.

Check in went smoothly and I was quickly fitted with a bike and helmet. Sergio, our guide, was cordial, knowledgeable and his English was pretty good. After seeing Barcelona traffic, I was quite concerned about safety but Sergio led us along a route that felt very safe (though there are some street crossings and one needs to pay attention). We made frequent stops to let Sergio describe to the whole group (10 in total) what we were seeing or going to see. The group was pleasant and all seemed to enjoy themselves. Sergio was helpful giving recommendations on other things to do in town. All in all, a very positive experience.
