Barcelona Food Tour: Tapas, Drinks And Delights With A Local

The food tour was amazing! Andrea was extremely knowledgeable about not only the food but also the history of Catalonia! Well done!

What an exceptional afternoon. Our guide, Andrea, from “Do Eat Better Experience” was welcoming, knowledgeable, interesting and engaging. We strolled around the small laneways of the old gothic quarter of Barcelona and went to several small cafes and bars that the locals only seem to know about rather than the big tourist destinations. A three hour, but leisurely trip. Lots of history and context wherever we went. Andrea introduced us to some amazing culinary delights and generously left us with a long list of recommendations for other places to go. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.

This tour was amazing and well worth it! Emma is great and picked the perfect stops with a variety of local food and drinks that we probably would have never tried on our own! Along our tour Emma also provided with a little bit of history. I highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous 3 hour foodie/Tapas tour with Andrea. Great walk through the Gothic district with historic explanation regarding Catalan region. 3 Tapas bars and one patisserie. Andrea is well informed about history and her home city. I traveled with my partner and there was another couple on the tour with us. Barcelona is our last stop in Spain this time! I highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing tour, full of fascinating history as well as delicious food stops. Miquel was superb, from the initial communication, meeting us and taking us to the stops. He was knowledgeable, interesting and provided excellent recommendations both at the stops and for the rest of our trip. The food was stunning, great options and delicious every time. We were huge fans of the crema Catalana, we will be having another one before we leave! Couldn't rate the tour highly enough. Great food, great tour guide, fun stories. And great vermouth! I only wish we had microphones to hear sometimes because of street noise but overall our group of 8 faired very well!

We had a great time with Ophélie as our tapas tour guide! All of the food and drinks were delicious and it was nice to hear some interesting facts about Barcelona and her own personal view of living in the city. We had a lot of fun and it was one of our favourite experiences in Barcelona :)

The experience itself was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. The guide Emma was extremely passionate, friendly and kind. What was not so great was that the organisers were not as accommodating as they could have been. We realised it was going to be pouring with rain for our tour and our baby got sick but just missed the cut off for cancellation. We had hoped they would just move our tickets to another day due to the rain but the only compromise we could reach was to pay for more tickets for a new date. It did end up pouring heavily on the original date and would have been miserable. We were still happy we got to go but it was an incredibly expensive endeavour.

There was a lot of delicious food and drink on this tour, come hungry. Tour guide was excellent and had lots of interesting information about the food and the region.

Highly recommend. Scheduled for the evening we arrived- left with great recommendations for the entire trip from Andrea.
