Perfect tour! It was just the right amount of time, with a great variety of food and interesting facts. Our guide Dasha was interesting and knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona and Catalonia! She also gave us some restaurant recommendations for after.

Guide was very knowledgeable and professional but lacked passion. Visited very busy market , that was interesting but spent too much time there. Almost 2 and 1/2 hours and only 1 place at the end to sit down.
It was exactly what I was looking for in a food tour. I wanted to experience the regional food and its history. Our guide Sofia was ce ey knowledgeable, experienced and accommodating. Food was excellent.
Excellent all round although meeting point info not great. Guide v well informed on everything including history and culture. Food tastings superb!
Pisa was much more than we expected beyond the tower. Viator was the only place we could get tickets for the next day online - which was fantastic. Only thing that could have been better was details on where exactly to go to use the tickets.so we asked someone there where to go. For us it was right at base of the tower and at door of the cathedral. No need for printed tickets. Everything came digitally so need for anything beyond our phone
Vicente did a wonderful tour of leading us through the Gothic quarter and providing us with its taste of food and history.
Sophia shared many different foods and stories with us. We also enjoyed the history and architecture.
Amazing food and local shop recommendations. We had a variety of different flavors that were worth a try!
We learned so much about history and culture on this tour and all the food stops were amazing! Sophia was a great guide and had so much knowledge. It felt like you were getting info from a person who was passionate about where she lived and wanted to share it with you. It was a great way to start our trip in Catalonia!
Martina was an excellent guide, leading us through markets and neighborhoods in Barcelona that we might never have discovered on our own. In addition to the delicious tastings, she pointed out notable landmarks and shared insights into the area’s history and culture. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly personality made the experience both educational and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Barcelona beyond the typical tourist attractions. One bit of advice - the meeting location was shown as “meet at Liceu, Barcelona; guide will be by “Mosaico di Miro” Joan Miro’s mosaic, just outside the Liceu metro station”. The metro station was easy enough to find, but we were looking for a mosaic on a wall, not imbedded in the ground. Look on the ground!
I thought this tour was too heavy on sweets. I was more of a desert tour and mediocre on the savory side. Additionally, we didn’t learn much about the history or the culture of local cuisine. It was overall a disappointment.
An amazing night, loved all the foods we tasted.. our host Maria was great.. explained all the different foods . Places we would not have found on our own !
This was wonderful and a great way to see and taste the food of the city. I highly recommend this tour for sure!
Vincent was a fabulous tour guide! Just the right amount of walking-eating and talking. The last place with the cheese and Iberian ham was so delicious-it was a great stop! I wish all food tours were like this one.
We booked this Food tour for the following morning (11am) after arriving in Barcelona from the U.S. to give us time to recoup from travel. It was the perfect thing to do! Our guide Vincent (Vincenzo) was very engaging and knowledgeable not only about the local cuisine by also the history and knew his was around very well. The food spots he took us to were superb. Savory as well as a few sweets! It really gave us a good sense of the culture, history and a lay of the land. Would highly recommend.
Excellent guide and excellent food. The only downside is the meeting point is difficult to find.
Sophia was an awesome tour guide. She explained some history of the area, she took us into one of largest outside markets. We got to taste many Spanish foods. Everything was great from start to finish. Would do tour with Sophia again. The best.
Maria was an awesome guide! We had a group of 8 and no other people so that worked out great! She adapted the tour to our group, taking us to a second market instead of getting pinxtos, since we had just come from San Sebastián. We tried foods that we would never have tried otherwise. She seemed to have a good relationship with the vendors. She was very personable, honest, engaging, knowledgeable, maintained great eye contact, maintained control of our wild group, and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend this tour!
Lots of yummy food samples. We had the opportunityto purchase items to take home. Maria was a wonderful guide.
Sophia was a wonderful guide and the tour was great as a solo traveler, she shared a lot of great info and I felt like I was hanging out with friends quickly!
This was a nice intro for those new to Barcelona. The main market on the Rambla is a must see, but feel (like our guide) that better quality food options exist at other local markets. However the main market is a feast for the eyes! Loved the other local stops including other local market stops. A bit of history and culture thrown in...and many wonderful tastings.
Maria was excellent! We enjoyed the food tasting and what certain things were called. She also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. 5*****
It was very good , informational, I wish the food amount was a little large. Vincenzo was the best. Walking was not hard.
Great tour, Vincent was an informative tour guide and very friendly. We enjoyed the market and tour of Gothic neighborhood.
Vincent was fantastic! I enjoyed the markets and food selections. Great way to see the key tourist spots in the Quarter.
Was difficult to find meeting place, but once we found it, everything went well. Noise in much of the area made it difficult to hear the Guide until we got away from it. Food and places we went were great. Lots of fun places to visit.
A touristy type of experience. I was hoping for a more authentic visit of restaurants and different types of tapas.
Sophia was an excellent tour guide. She lived in the area and knew it well. She was very pleasant and a lot of fun to talk to. She provided a lot of information and answered all of our questions. The Tapas were great, too!
A great option to enjoy walk through gothic quarter with stops in local food spots. Great experience for teenagers, that lack motivation on long historical excursions as well as adults, who are repeaters, and want to know some new spots. Our guise Sofia was super friendly and attentive to everyone.
Our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the different types of food. He took us to 7 different places to try different foods. We started in St. Joseph food market and ended with desert in a pastry shop. Food was excellent as well.
We had a wonderful tour with Vincenzo! He was knowledge, kind, moved at a comfortable pace, and stopped at some great food spots while sharing Barcelona history with us. We left very satisfied with the tour and the food we got to taste…olives, paella, cheese, Iberian ham, chocolate, and Catalan crème dessert. Highly recommend!!
Enjoyed the tour, the food and the guide. We were lucky enough to see a local parade and that was fun too.
Wonderful guide. Walked to interesting markets and stores to sample local foods Was also an insight into local sights and culture
Vincent was a wonderful guide. We enjoyed the history and the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent food tour. Vincent was very knowledgable and we all enjoyed the experience
Vince was very knowledgeable about all things in Spain. He was pleasant and easy to converse with and the food was great!
Vicens from Raphael Tours was excellent, kind, very patient, widely knowledgable, a mix of the Bouqueria market, history, local knowledge. He was so very generous with his time, we tried olives, paella, nougat, pastries, cheese, the seafood & meat in the market look fabulous so a great start to our week in Barcelona. We can now go back to these market sellers & to the small shops outside with a much better idea of what to buy. It started rainy & got a bit heavier but we were so immersed in the tour it did not detract at all. Highly recommend him to everyone looking to gain more about Barcelona. A big thank you to our guide today.
Our tour guide , Vincent, was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, super nice, and accommodating, and he made the tour delightful! The food samplings of the local fare were very good and the sights were interesting. It's really a fun way to experience the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona If you're booking this tour you should request Vincent.
Vincent did a great job showing us the Gotic area of Barcelona. He was very knowledgeable when it came to the history of Barcelona. Our walking tour was very well planned out and gave us the experience of tasting various foods from the different parts of Spain.
This tour was fabulous and the guide was considerate and informative he answered our questions and provided many delicious food options and locations! We loved it - the Market was amazing and the Gothic Quarter was incredible at night - we did the evening tour and highly recommend
Francisco was a great guide! He had a lot of knowledge about Barcelona’s history. The tour was well-paced and we spent a lot of time walking through the big market. Each stop was intentionally selected and the food was incredible.
I booked this tour almost 2 weeks ahead of time. Very disappointed that it was cancelled last minute because I have only a party of 3 and they wanted 5 minimum. I guess they decided they would rather have $0 than our money for 3 people, and I was texted with just under 24 hours notice cancelling the tour. Being so last minute, this affected my ability to schedule another tour and messed up our schedule for the day.
Francesco was great! We had a small group which was easy to navigate in and out of the food markets, which were amazing and delicious. He was knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. A great 2.5 well spent. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.
We really enjoyed the tour our guide Francisco was excellent. The food was very good and the food markets were incredible.
Very nice walking tour with a wide variety of different items. Everything was tasty, but the creme catalana (dessert) was our favorite!
Great food tour! Our guide, Francisco, was super friendly and knowledgable and the food was delicious!
The perfect tour to learn about the different neighborhoods and food. Vincenzo was very thoughtful and professional.
Excellent guide! Gave us interesting information on the city, the markets, and food. Tasting stops were great choices!
You have to go to a mosaic tile to meet with the host . We had a good time and tasted different goodies known to Barcelona!
Very relaxed walk. Easy to keep up. Vince was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend this tour. It was both informative and yummy!
