Carlos was an amazing guide on our e-bike & winery tour!! We enjoyed the experience so much. Carlos was patient, informative and a great guy!

Bike ride was very fun. Very exciting on the streets but very relaxing across calm patches of beach. Lots of destinations, and the tour guide Carlos is happy to answer all sorts of questions and give you tidbits on all sorts of landmarks. He was responsive and constantly guided us. On our occasion, we went on a wine tour, a cosy brick house within the beautiful town of Allela. The e bikes never malfunctioned and worked nicely.
Carlos Valdivia went extra steps in everything. He showed his professionalism during the entire trip. He is very nice and considerate.
There are two options that you may have to decide upon arrival. Boat first and then winery or winery first and then boat ride back. We did the boat first. The boat is small and moves a lot when the wind blows as this a sailing experience. Anyone who gets seasick easily should pick a different tour. You may want to ask if one direction is better than the other based upon the wind conditions as our version was more upwind and the other option appeared to be more of a downwind experience which I felt would have been more pleasant. The Boquette Winery is one of the smallest operations I have toured through, however that was the charm of the place. Good whites, reds and sparklings. Our group bought a bunch of bottles to go, so that was a good sign since I go where the group wants even if I am not that much of a wine aficionado.
Fantastic half day biking trip with Jordi to a beautiful Alella vineyard! Loved our light lunch on the terrace and sampling 4 of their wines.
Great city, awesome bike tour & fun time with a great guide! Jordi was a fantastic guide. I would highly recommend this tour for friends or family.
Jordi was the best guide. He was very knowledgeable and took great photos. He has a great personality and did a great job showing us the city.
We had a GREAT time on this tour with our guide, Jordi. I didn’t really know what to expect but we rode e-bikes (which make it SO easy) all the way from Barcelona to Alella. We then had a tasting, tour and lunch at Bouquet de Alella which was wonderful! I highly recommend this way to check out the local area
The journey there was fine, the wine tasting interesting, the tapas serving was meagre after a 20km bike ride. One slice of bread, some ham, cheese and tomato - I expect more in a ‘picnic’. We then attempted to get the train back. The group was split for either end of the train for the special carriages that take bikes but the train was full. This meant that our guide left on the train with half the group and four of us left stranded on the platform with no tickets. We cycled back on our own volition. Very poor result for the cost. We were originally sold a package with private van return, what happened to that?
Another alternative view of Barcelona and a nicw guide. Watching Barcelona from the seaside was an experience
This was a great trip. My only negative comment is that we have to take a train back. Should cut a 1/2 from the winery and allow us to bike back
I reserved this tour 2 weeks before our trip to Barcelona. The night before, at 5:30PM, they canceled the bike tour without explanation. They offered a sailing/vineyard tour. I get sea sick so I declined. At that late hour, we were unable to book another company and never got to enjoy the experience. Therefore I cannot recommend this company.
Was a amazing trip! The bike ride along the Med was spectacular. The e-bikes made it easy to enjoy the scenery along the way (with an exception - see end of post) Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out areas of interest. There are two things that are keeping me from giving a five star rating - first - many of the e-bikes in our group did not function correct and had to be reset or restarted multiple times; secondly - the trip back: trying to man handle heavy e-bikes on an extremely crowded train for the ride back to Barcelona and then trying to get them up the escalator at the final station was difficult and stressful. Not sure why they don’t have us ride back to the starting point on the bikes following the same route?
Our guide was fantastic. Beautiful winery (Bouquet D’Allela). E-bikes made the journey quite easy. Started at 10am - back by 230pm
Our guide was very nice. The bikes and helmets were in need of repair and upgrade. The shop owner arrived late. The tour was scheduled to go until 5pm but we finished at 3:30pm. The route along the beach was beautiful. I really wished we would have stopped to hear more about the sights than we did. Other than a couple of sights, the trip takes you along some industrial buildings and power plant. It would have been great to hear about other landmarks like the arc de triumph which we passed right in front of without explanation or stopping. The winery was nice; wine was good. Lunch was very light with only bread and cheese. Very hungry by the end of the day. They do not give you a bottle of water for this tour like other bike tours so come prepared. They had us put our bikes on the train for the way home. These weigh well over 50lbs and it was difficult to carry up 3 steps of the crowded train. Passengers yelled at us in Spanish for having bikes on the train. Then, you had to put the bike on the escalator to leave the train station. Several of us fell on the escalator and got frustrated trying to do this. If you cannot lift this weight or are older this is impossible. As a seasoned and athletic bike rider I even found this difficult. I felt sorry for the older couple on our tour that struggled. We had 90 minutes left and easily could have rode the bikes back to the shop to be less stressful and see more of the sights. Overall, not worth the cost. We’ve done many other bike tours in several countries and this was my least favorite and most expensive. Disappointing. Would recommend doing a different tour for the time and money. Regret spending most of a full day of vacation on this.
Richard our tour guide was fabulous! The road was scenic and safe. Marina at the winery gave a lovely tour and spread. We loved the wine and bought many bottles. Would highly recommend. Great value. 👍🥰
They had to change from bike and winery tour to boat and tour because a bike race was in town blocking streets but we were happier with the sailing and winery combo. Had a great time. Everything was run professionally. Sailing back from the winery was the perfect way to unwind and the winery tour itself and snacks were wonderful.
It was cancelled the day before! So disappointed as this was our first day in Barcelona. They did offer a replacement that didn’t include biking and was nice.
We enjoyed every aspect of the tour, our guide, Merco was outstanding. Cycling along the coast through neighbouring towns. The visit to Alella and the wine farm, the tasting, the picnic lunch, our wonderful host, the winemaker Andrew. We loved every moment.
This was a highlight of our trip. The E-bikes make the ride very comfortable. The winery had a beautiful view, excellent lunch, and wine.
Pol Guillermo, your leader, was outstanding! Easy ride. Spectacular day and scenery at the beach. The Bouquet d’allela winery was so charming. And my daughter was proposed to and accepted!!
This experience was so awesome. The ~10 mile bike ride up the coast was great by itself. But the vineyard tour, lunch, and tasting took it to another level. Mirko was a great host!! Highly recommend!!
A great tour riding e-bikes along Barcelona’s beaches to a beautiful vineyard for wine tasting. Mirko was a great guide who provided interesting information at each stop along the way. The e-bikes made the riding fairly easy but there are sections of riding in traffic that require some cycling confidence. A fun activity.
Great day out, simple ride on some great electric bikes via some gorgeous beaches. Wine tasting was fantastic and learnt a lot from some passionate people. Could of done with a bit more food at the winery as you’re out from 10am-4pm Great day out!
Lovely way to experience the seaside landscape by an easy bike ride. Marco our guide, stopped every 2 -3 kilometers. The winery tour and guide was superb. We had time to ask questions, enjoy the views wine and tapas! Wonderful tour!
This was a super fun way to see the coast along the Mediterranean. I really enjoyed riding the e-bike, it was super easy and required very little effort, even when biking uphill. Marco was our guide. He is very professional and was very conscientious in making sure he didn’t lose anyone on the way to and from the winery. The time spent at the winery was very relaxed and chill. I enjoyed the delicious wine and enjoyed conversation with my fellow travelers. I was a little nervous taking the bike back to Barcelona via train but Marco made it all very easy. It was also fun bicycling through the city, back to our origination pint. This day trip was definitely one of the highlights of my Barcelona vacation.
We are a family of 6 adults, planning and enjoying this eBike and wine tastinge vent. Katja - the guide, greeted us, secured all team of 13 bicyclists were equipped and informed, off we went. Trip was along Barcelona beaches, through town outskirts and eventually to a small village Alella and winery "Bouquet". We enjoyed a sunny and scenic bike ride - eventually entered Wine-yard. We hade a nice guided tour of Winery, followed by a tasting with some bread. Good and interesting. We traveled back with train to Barcelona, biked back to rental place - passing some sight-seeing highlights. Great thanks and a lot of appreciation to Katja (and the fellow e-bikers), who really made the trip! Great thanks - I would do it again, can really recommend the tour!
This was our very favorite day we spent in Barcelona, away from all of the touristy sites. The ride along the coast was so fun, the vistas were stunning, and our long bike ride was rewarded with a delicious wine tasting at this special winery. Exceptional wine, gorgeous views and fantastic company--what more could you want? Worth every dime.
Ridding an electric bike from Barcelona is an experience I will always remember... 8 miles along the coast, passing different cities and small towns until 2 hours later you get to the winery. Once there, a tour around, the tasting and then taking the train back to Barcelona. Mirko was super friendly, chilled but with a very responsible personality and cheerful character. Loved having him as our guide!
I was a bit nervous riding the ebike, but our guide, Richard, helped talk us through all the settings and how to reset the bike if we had any issues. Richard was very sweet and attentive while we all biked and checked on us throughout our journey to the vineyard. We biked through Barceloneta Beach and it was really nice! It got a bit stressful when we were biking through the city and heavily touristy areas. We made a couple of stops along the way. I wished we spent more time taking in what we were seeing before finally ending up at the vineyard. The vineyard was beautiful, but I was a bit unimpressed by the "picnic." The picnic was just bread with tomatoes and prosciutto and cheese. I would suggest you eat a filling breakfast/brunch before this experience and find a place for late lunch afterward because you will be hungry! After the wine tasting, we biked back 5 minutes to the tram and took it to a couple of stops where we got off and biked back to our starting point.
If you want a quick getaway from the touristy attractions, then this is it! We had a great time riding bikes up the coast to the winery. And this winery is all about quality vs quantity. It was a lovely experience that I would recommend to everyone. The bikes are step through and easy to ride. Since they have electric assist, hills were a non issue. We feel like we were able to explore parts of Barcelona that we would normally not know! If you are thinking about an excursion that still leaves the evening for fun, why not book this. Like now…it was popular and we had a full group. The guide Miarco was great too!
This was an awesome day cycling along the coastline and up to a beautiful vineyard. It was the highlight of my trip to Barcelona and our lovely guide knew the local history so we got to learn more about the area along the way.
Amazing tour! We had the best time with Mirko - geht did such a good job and it was so much fun. :))
great experience! good seeing a bit of Barca surounding, beaches and landscape. Mirko has been a great guide giving us informative facts and being friendly and funny! THX!
It is a great tour! Andrei is very knowledgeable and patient to lead the tour. He explained very clearly and took us to see a unique side of Barcelona on bike!!
We had such a good time! Amazing day and lots of fun! Our guide, Richard, was a sweetheart! I highly recommend this experience!!! Thank you!
The views on the bike ride toward the Vineyard were incredible. Definitely worth it for the bike ride experience. Mereko, our Tour Guide, was awesome. One of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona for sure.
We all met by the bike rental and set off. Learning to use an electric bike was the only challenge I had, but it soon became easier. We visited some great spots on the route to the vineyard and Miro our guide explained many things about the histories involving people and buildings and areas. The ride was easy although on the motorway you do need to remember that your on a highway and that can cause you to separate from the group at times (red lights etc) but they always found you and waited. The vineyard was beautiful, the wines and taps delicious and unique. I just wished we rode back instead of the metro as the weather was soo nice, but I understand that for some people the ride was long enough. Many thanks for an excellent day!!
This was a fun tour! LOVED the bike ride along the coastline and really got to see a lot! Miro was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable, sharing history and fun facts. Vineyard was very nice, Pao was great, and the wine delicious. Recommend this tour!
Great day with a great guide! Lovely weather, lovely route and good food! Guide was Mirko Wish we could have ridden back to the city instead of the train
Was so fun, absolutely worth the money and the host was amazing, Mirko was a great help and was a very good guide. Everything was amazing!
Incredible experience!! LOVED Mirko as our guide!! Beautiful vineyard and the ride on the e-bike was so fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better Barcelona day!!
Thankyou so much Marco! We had an amazing trip it could not of been better! The bike ride was amazing , the wine tasting was very knowledgeable and the tour guide Marco was amazing ! He helped and supported us through the whole day, he is very kind . I would definitely recommend this trip to anybody who is interested. This trip completed our holiday in Barcelona
Loved it!! So much fun, Marco was an amazing tour guide. We biked to the vineyard which was lovely and we ate snacks and had yummy wine!
Beautiful scenery riding along beach and up to vineyard. Very wonderful day. The electric bike make it much easier especially for hills. Our guide was fantastic
As a solo traveller, this tour was my absolute favourite thing I did while in Barcelona. We were a group of 7 with the amazing Marco and he made sure that we were all comfortable the entire time. Marco also provided additional facts above and beyond what the guided winery tour included. The bike ride is fun & scenic and the e-bikes make the hills much more manageable. The wine was absolutely delicious! The tapas really hit the spot as well. I highly recommend this tour! You won’t regret it! It was a great day out!
Our guide, Miro, was charming, kind, and knowledgeable. The beach route he took us on was beautiful, and the wine at the top was delicious. We had a group of 7, and it felt like the perfect size where we were able to chat up our group and feel comfortable with each other. The eBikes made the hills easier, and Miro made sure to keep us safe when biking through more trafficked areas! Highly recommend booking this experience - you will LOVE it!
Biking with Mirko along Barcelona's coast was incredible! We stated at La Barceloneta and from there passed various smaller towns like Sant Adria, Badalona, Montgat or El Masnou until we reached our destination in Alella (a total of 8 miles aprox). Mirko stopped in all of them for us to take some pictures and gave us interesting explanations. Once at the vineyard, we learnt a lot about the wine production of this small place, at a very beautiful location viewing the sea and the mountains. Felt very safe at all times, the wine was amazing and later we took a train to come back to Barcelona with our bikes.
We had a great bike ride and tour, and our guide was great. We had a large group and our guide was particularly good at managing 12 riders. We especially enjoyed the winery tour and tasting. Christina, who gave us a vineyard tour and did our tasting, was wonderful! She is warm and funny, and we enjoyed her stories.
Disclaimer: I was the only person to book this tour the day I went. The company was so accommodating about this and upgraded me for free for a sailboat experience on the Mediterranean to the same vineyard. Admittedly, I am still upset I didn't get to bike because I LOVE riding bikes. However, the company was very professional and I had a very enjoyable time. The upgrade was to the tour named "Sailing Adventure: Vineyards, Winery Tour and Wine Tasting from Barcelona". Visit the same vineyard; just the means of getting there and back is different. The Allele Vineyard has a rustic and quaint feel to it (strong and sound buildings!). The tasting was so delicious and we were able to purchase some wine at the end. I bought two bottles of their unfiltered, natural wine because it blew my mind!
