Barcelona Cruise Port To Airport: Private Chauffeur Transfer

We had a great driver. He was friendly and got us safely and quickly to the airport. The van was comfortable and spacious for our group of 6.

Phone issues and delays getting off cruise ship and extreme chaos. Wanted a refund- I booked before leaving the US!

Using Viator app booked taxi from Celebrity Xcel Cruise ship to Barcelona airport. Thru the app received confirmation, updates. On day of departure, taxi driver WhatsApp d me to ask if I was ready to be collected, everything running smoothly.

The driver was great once we found each other. The directions of meeting point given by Viator were not accurate. We followed the directions of meeting point which was a 7 min walk away and we even asked employees at cruise port and they said there was no terminal 3. The driver ended up calling us and it turned out he was where we walked out of cruise port. Not what the directions said. Wished there was contact before that point and it was difficult to establish a time with the tour operator as a time was not included with the ticket. They did not respond quickly and I was trying to make contact 2 days prior.

They called. Before to pick up meet confirm , and the driver was so friendly , there was a lot of traffic and confusion out side the terminal but he waved me down and no problem with pick up

I booked this whilst on the ship to transfer me from the Cruise terminal to the airport. Before I found it, I was going to book an Uber but that does not seem to have a guarantee it won’t get cancelled. The booking was really straightforward and I received a personal acknowledgement confirming my proposed pick up time. Pick up was seamless. The driver was awaiting at the exit of the terminal with my name on a board. He helped the party with the luggage and we went in the vehicle straight off to Barcelona Airport. The cost was very reasonable and much cheaper than having the Cruise Line arrange the Transfer. It also took away the uncertainty of trying to get a taxi from the rank at Barcelona Cruise terminal. I will certainly use them again. Many thanks.

We were aboard ship and had trouble contacting our driver. The help desk conveyed our docking time and the driver arrived promptly and picked us up at the designated time. We would use them again.

The coordinator reached out to us the day before our cruise departure and confirmed the time and pickup spot. The morning of, the driver met us just outside the terminal, helped with our luggage and we were at the airport quickly. No hassles and a great experience!

He texted to let us know he was there, we walked-out and he greeted us. It appears that a lot of the TAXI vehicles are also Part of this system. We drove straight to the airport; good driver.

We had a perfect pickup. He was so patient while waiting for us. Our ship was delayed and the tour company and driver stayed in contact with us during the whole ordeal. He got us to the airport quickly.

Our ship was late into port and we had an early flight. Both the company and the driver were in constant communication with us and waiting when we exited the ship. We made it to the terminal and caught our flight. The communication helped calm a tense situation.

Responsive, prompt, spoke English, provided us with info about the city. Rate to airport for two in January was $76.54 and cruise ship charged $59/person for coach transfer. It’s about a 15-20 min drive without traffic.

Don’t fall for this. Never having been to Barcelona, and because we had a tight connection, our group of 4 opted for the cruise terminal transfer service. Through Viator, we paid nearly $100. We were met and transported by one of the many taxis at the stand. Turns out the flat rate taxi from the cruise terminal to BCN is €45. We got ripped off.

The driver had our name on a display monitor. He texted us that morning and arrived early to greet us at the pier. Took us to the airport and informed us of the logistics inside the airport.

Pickup went off without any issues. Even with lots of luggage! Driver was very nice and got us to the airport nicely

Made the reservation in advance & when I noticed the terminal information was incorrect, I emailed Viator. They emailed back saying that the cruise terminal was updated but when looking at the reservation, it had not. So I emailed the actual provider and they confirmed the correct terminal. The provider, was on time & we reached the airport in plenty of time for our flight which you absolutely need in BCN airport! That place is a zoo and very disorganized!

I booked the time thinking we had to go through customs off the ship. Actually got off 1 1/2 hrs earlier. Not a problem they sent someone to pick us up. Would definitely book through them again

The driver was late due to traffic/accident. We had to contact company through Viator because there was no answer through company chat. Notification from the company would have made it easier. But when driver arrived he was apologetic and got as to airport quickly. Car that picked us up was a regular taxi.

Did not contact me we could not find we took a taxi to airport was half the cost of your company when he got to airport he called said he was there all the trips I booked through you this lack of communication was terrible

Our Expedia cruise ship agent booked an airport transfer for 4 people, Aug 23 in Barcelona with a pick up time for 9:30 am. Our contacts were provided. We paid for the transfer in full at the time of booking and a confirmation reference number was provided (1297749547). August 22, our agent confirmed a change in docking terminal and the time of pick up again with the transfer company via email. On Aug 23rd the driver did not show up, call or email. We waited until 10 am and called a taxi to transfer us to the airport incurring an additional cost to what was already paid to the company. Naturally, we requested a refund and the company refused. They informed our agent that the driver showed up for a pick up time at 5:30 am, which coincidentally was the ship docking time. If they actually showed up at that time they would have discovered that the ship just arrived in port and there were no passengers in site. They did not attempt to contact us despite having our email and phone numbers. This company is unprofessional and untrustworthy and clearly have no integrity. Save yourself the aggravation and money cans call a cab at half the cost.

The driver communicated before and had confirmed. He also was right on time, helped w/the bags and gave us some history of the city on the way to the airport. Very good experience.
