I booked with VIATOR for a private van pickup from the Barcelona MSC Cruise Port to the AC Hotel in Sant Cugat. The driver was great! He was in communication through WhatsApp prior to pickup & informing us of arrival time. He came over to locate us at the terminal & help bring our bags to the van. He was very kind & loaded all our luggage quickly & very organized in the back of the van. The van was clean & large enough for all of us to have a comfortable ride. We were very pleased with the company & driver of Comfort Pickups Barcelona. I would recommend using them again. ❤️ Note: If booking a hotel for a cruise, check location to the cruise port. No fault of the driver or company but there was an extra €40 charge due to our hotel being outside of Barcelona City Center. It would be ideal if VIATOR could have more descriptive options for hotels locations & reflect the correct charge during the initial booking when the pickup & drop off location is entered. That way there is no unexpected charge at the last minute.

The driver did not show up. We had a 7:30 am time because we had to get catch a train and he was late so we had to take a taxi.

I booked this car to take us from the cruise port to the airport. The driver was there on time. Unfortunately we had a problem with locating one piece of our luggage but he understood and waited until we resolved the problem. My only issue was that I thought we would be in a private car but it was a taxi. I could have gone out of the terminal and got a parked taxi.

They do not send private sedans in Barcelona as shown by all of their illustrations. They send taxis. The driver did not get out of the taxi to locate us. He called using WhatsApp telling us to go out into the taxi line and find him. He did not assist us with luggage when we got to hotel. Just stood there as my husband unloaded, then returned to driver seat and drove away. Not happy with any of our Viator booked transfers in Barcelona.

The pickup / transfer to our hotel in the city center from our cruise ship terminal was not as described and required more focus / communication on our part. Embarkation delays complicated our pick-up, however, our driver maintained contact with us (WhatsApp) to eventually pick us up. Not seamless, but it all worked out.

We were very delayed getting through long immigration lines and the driver made sure there was a ride for us when we were ready. So glad we chose this.

Disembark ship early to avoid crowds makes it easier to spot your driver. Driver was professional and knew the city

The driver was driving too fast and unnecessary since we had plenty of time. I would recommend but drivers should be more conscious of the traffic laws.

Firstly, I want to say that our driver was very patient, and waited for us when we experienced problems locating one of our suitcases in the terminal. On the other hand, the booking said that he would have a sign, so we could find him. Perhaps there was just too much going on at the cruise terminal, but if the driver had had a sign, it would have been easier to locate him.

The drivers picked us up on time, were friendly, and safely got us to the airport. Working with them was easy through What's App. Thank you!

Though driver arrived slightly behind schedule, but traffic was oddly busy. He arrived and immediately help us with luggage. Made sure we were comfortable and belted up. We have his attention as he turned down calls, and the same cannot be said about other drivers we have had. He should be a proud Viator partner.

He over exceeded our expectations. He greeted us at the terminal. Was most helpful in moving our bags in and out of the van. I would highly recommend him.

The driver was waiting for us on time, helped us with our luggage, and was very friendly and professional. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The whole journey was smooth and stress-free. Booked this transfer the day before arrival because Princess said the Barcelona port had few taxis, which had been our original transportation plan. Our private driver arrived (in a taxi) 20 minutes later than scheduled and the price was easily double what a taxi from the cab line would have cost. The driver was polite and personable and kept us apprised of his location and delayed arrival time via WhatsApp. But if I hadn't had the app on my phone, we would have been left in the dark. FYI: there were plenty of taxis at the port and would recommend taking one if you are just going to a downtown hotel, as we were.

I am still waiting for my refund. Your car had an accident and you sent a taxi to pick us up. I had to pay cash to the taxi driver and he told me you would refund my original payment.

I pre arranged the private transfer from the cruise terminal A in the Barcelona cruise port. The driver communicated with the pick up information around 9am and our pick up time was 9:30am. We waited 15 minutes outside the gate. The driver held my name sign and came to pick us up. He was very polite and drove safely.

Easy to book. On the day of pick up at the port the driver called us when he was on his way and stayed in touch so we were able to find him amongst the chaos of the disembarkation of a cruise ship.

Had not used service before, so was a little anxious. Everything worked out great and ride was comfortable and uneventful.

The experience was very professional. There was contact very early. I never had to wonder if they would pick me up on time and where they would be. Getting off the cruise ship took longer than expected but they were so patient. The driver also made his services available to get us to the airport the next day which we really appreciated. We were vey happy no issues.

This is for my pickup in the Port of Barcelona. It was the worst private pickup I have ever experienced. The viator listing stated that a driver would show up with a sign with my name on it. I even texted the operator a few days before the ship arrived to let him know which terminal I will be arriving. They acknowledged the text. On the day of ship arrival, the driver asked me what terminal I will be in. I told him again. I asked him if he will have a sign up with my name on it. He said “No. We don’t have signs, because there is too many people.” I have been to the Port of Barcelona before. And I have used pickup service with signs, BECAUSE there is too many people and I need to find my driver. When the driver did arrive, it turned out to be a FreeNow taxi service and he told us to walk to the “last taxi” in the taxi rank. I showed my frustration with him, and he proceeded to yell at me and said, “some people are never happy.” Considering that I paid $75 US for this “private car,” I would like a refund. This is first time ever that I have made a public complaint like this. The customer service with this operator is bad. I hope Viator doesn’t use this operator again. If I could give 0 star, I would.

Coming off a cruise ship after 2 weeks, you don't want to have to worry about getting to your next stop. We had a tour lined up later in the morning, and booking this private transport made it easy to get to the hotel, get our bags checked in and on our way in time to make our tour. Our driver was great, and he helped us pack the loads of luggage we had and the five of us. The van had enough room to fit it all. The only thing I would have done differently is schedule an earlier pick up. I didn't realize it was going to be so easy to get off the ship so we were waiting a little longer since we we were ready to go sooner than expected.

The driver was polite and professional. However, our complaint is that we requested a time change for pickup and the request was confirmed two days ahead of time. Unfortunately, the driver was 1 hour late, and when we called to ask, the system still had our original time…. Even though we received confirmation for our updated time. Also, the Viator app did not give us the correct pickup location, and we had to walk quite a ways with our luggage to the correct pickup spot.

I booked a private car to pick me up at the Barcelona airport and take me to my hotel. My flight was 3 hours late then it was almost 2 hours to get my luggage due to a strike.I thought I lost my money because I was so late but the driver called me and I explained the situation and he did come back to pick us up.He was easy to find in the airport near the COMO restaurant.We had a nice drive to our hotel.I would recommend this serve to anyone coming to Barcelona.Also the driver was very pleasant and we had a smooth relaxing ride.

The driver sent me a message and ask if I was ready. Told him 15 minutes, said he’d see me in 20. This is exceptional, he checked in a little over an hour before our scheduled pickup time, so instead of us waiting, he came early!

We have used this service twice so far in Barcelona. Flying in they picked us up- was a little tricky finding our driver as he was using his cell phone as his sign which was very hard to see until we called him and got his exact location. We also used them for our pickup from the cruise port back to our hotel. Met us directly as we disembarked and handled all our luggage quickly and somehow managed to get it all into a smallish car. A bit more expensive than a cab but was nice to make the big rangers easy as we were tired and traveling with a 3 year old. Great communication, friendly and clean.

Driver was very communicative. He was waiting right outside the port gate with a name sign in hand. Driving in the port area can be very hectic, but he handled it like a pro.

We were expecting a nice private car with someone wearing a suit waiting for us inside the terminal with our name on a sign. What we got was a Prius taxi and a guy in casual clothes. We only had to wait about 15 minutes and he was nice, but it wasn't what we expected or thought we booked.

Our first driver was not on time and arrived around 15 min late due to traffic. Sent a small Prius taxi for transport from the cruise port for a reservation for 4 adults. We could not fit our luggage in it and had to wait approximately 20 min in the heat for another taxi which was also small. We all had to have bags on our laps.

Matt, our tour guide, was VERY knowledgeable.. He was very good at talking to all of us as a group, not talking while walking so we would all get the information. He was understandable, and he has excellent interpersonal skill.

During the summer wait inside the terminal until you receive a message your driver is there. It was extremely hot.
