Barcelona Cathedral: Ticket, Guided Tour, Terrace + Vr Experience

Our English guide was AWESOME!!! Loved how she convey her passion about the Barcelona Cathedral. The group size was not big (I think there was 7 including myself). Then the end to go up to the Terrace and the view from up there was spectacular with a blue skies. This was my first experience booking with viator and I am so glad it did!

I’m not sure if doing the in person guide was worth the extra cost versus the audio guide. We paid extra for an in person guy and my feeling is that the audio guide who have been just as good. It was hard to appreciate the cathedral with all the maintenance being done on it. Due to the rain and the non working elevator we did not go to the roof or do the VR tour.

Good tour, saw all the places. Was bit dusty from the renovations.

Not now, most pf the church is not possible to visit and the VR experience was closed. May be good time before trying again.

This was my first trip to the Barcelona Cathedral. It was beautiful and I enjoyed hearing the back story of how it came to look like it does today. The tour from the top was amazing and I highly recommend it! I will be back

This was a lovely ,y place to go. We just looked around it but it was a very beautiful place and is a good example of gothic architecture.the crowd size wasn’t majorly busy but there were quite a few people there.

Directions to find our guide were not as specific— Viator had us meet on the steps of the Cathedral— that is not exactly where the tour guide wanted us to meet. On this tour, one can expect a fantastic guide, not only knowledgeable about the cathedral itself, but also about the history of Barcelona. The rooftop and virtual experience is a must for anyone going to Barcelona.

Tickets did NOT attach to 5 communications. I went to the ticket office at the cathedral where 3 associates tried to locate tickets of communications. We were unable to attend the tour. Please reimburse this tour amount. I do not understand why tickets did not appear with any of Viator communications. Viator has always been good to work with until this tour.

We were disappointed in our tour. Our tour guide did not give us any history about the church or the construction of the church. We were really looking for more about the history of the building. He also didn’t tell us anything about the outside facade of the church.

This was an awesome and educational tour. I would highly recommend this. You can go to the cathedral on your own, but having a guide tell you the history of the Cathedral, is 100x better. Our guide, George, was really good and knows a lot about the church. Definitely a must to do in Barcelona.

Our guide Roger was awesome. He had such great background knowledge and could pretty much answer anything we asked. He was patient and his English was perfect. This is an excellent tour and I highly recommend this company.

I had seen pictures of the cathedral, but I was completely awestruck by its beauty! Don't miss this tour . Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He even took us to the top to the front of the line. A magical day at the very least!

The place itself was great, but our guide was not. It was very unclear where to meet. When we got there the guide was nowhere to be found. I spoke with someone in charge of the tours and he helped guide us. The tour guide was young and seemed very immature. He seemed to be laughing at guests. His mic died before the tour was over. He didn’t take us upstairs or tell us where to go. We did not experience the VR at all. A different guide may have been better.

The text message sent with the instructions about the tour were very specific and easy to follow. The text also included directions to the meeting spot. The tour director was incredible. His knowledge about the cathedral was extensive and very informative. He was very kind and polite.

Roger’ was terrific, very knowledgeable about the cathedral, he knew his history and he was so patient with us, we had a small group it was very personable. I would recommend this tour! Very blessed to have seen this beautiful church.

Great tour guide. However the VR experience was non existent, neither was the coffee at the Museu coffee shop. Both of these were noted an included on the booking. This was no fault of the tour guide as he knew nothing of the inclusions.

It was a short but thorugh tour. The guide explained it well and the timing was just great (1030am). The Cathedral had so much history around it (and some tombs as well). There was even an ongoing Mass at the Crypt.

Nice tour of the Cathedral interior and history. Remarkable craftsmanship and history. The plaza outside provides good post-tour people watching.

We had a great guide. Super knowledge of the Cathedral which made it come alive. It is so old and has so much history without a good guide you will be looking at an old church. This was money well spent!

Roger, our English speaking tour guide, was punctual and easy to find for our tour. We communicated prior to the tour through WhatsApp, which gave us peace of mind regarding the details of our tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was easy to understand and answered all our questions. We would not have appreciated or fully experienced the Barcelona Cathedral on our own. It was imperative that we had Roger as a tour guide to truly appreciate all the history of this magnificent Cathedral. We would highly recommend Roger and this Viator tour for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Very good knowledgeable guide. Kept our attention. Decent size group so it was easy to see the different area.

We were on a tight schedule and ran 5 min behind. I called ahead and notified them and they were able to meet us at the entrance before the tour started. Our guide helped expand our understanding of the cathedral and was very knowledgeable. Once the tour was over we were able to free roam. It’s an amazing place to get lost in. I wish we had more time to explore as we would have spent more time there. It was beautiful and rich with history and art. I would highly recommend doing this tour. Especially if you couldn’t get tickets for Sagrada Família. The Barcelona Cathedral is worth the visit.

We booked a tour with a company I will disclose on request. The organisation prior to the tour was good, BUT that is where it ended. The tour guide was missing at the specified time and place. The information given for a tour in English was in spanish. He wasn't apologetic for the mistakes, without an audible apology. We decided that the tour was going to be a shambolic as the start and refused to go. On contacting a representative of the company to complain, we received polite abuse and were refused a refund . I am not usually someone who complains, but I was incensed at the cavalier attitude.
