We had a half day walking tour led by Montse. She was very knowledgble and passionate about her city and she taught us lots of new histroy around barcelona. I would highly reccomend. We wnet as a group of 9 and were all very impressed.
Montserrat(Montse) was our guide and from the very beginning she was so nice, welcoming, and of course informative. It didn’t feel like just another tour with a guide but a friend was showing you around. She knew so much and gave so many details about everything. Truly happy she was our guide. She even gave us some recommendations for restaurants to check out, one of which we went to immediately after and I’m so glad we did, it was delicious!
We had an amazing time with Montse on this tour. She was very kind, funny and informative. Our tour was a group tour, but it still felt like a private tour. We met some nice ladies from Wisconsin and we talked about traveling, some politics and of course, the history of the city. The funicular ride is fairly quick and the cable car views were incredible and fairly easygoing as long as there aren’t strong winds. Montse recommended we try the little bar/cafe across the street from the entrance to the cable car. We had patatas bravas, bocadillo and sangrias. It was SO GOOD easily one of the best things we’ve had in Barcelona. We highly recommend this tour, we got to see some amazing views and learned some more amazing history of this great city.

We enjoyed our tour so much. Our tour guide Stephanie was a joy to be around and we really enjoyed being with her. She had a lot of knowledge about the area and went above and beyond. Very passionate about the architecture and history of Barcelona. We had a couple that needed to go a little slower. She always made sure that they were ok and asked if they needed to sit. This tour was a walking tour which we love to do as you get to see more of the city that way. The walk was pretty easy for us. Had a few sets of stairs, but there were elevators available at most places for those that needed them. There was 1 spot that they weren’t available as it was to get to the top area of the Montjuic Castle. We had a group of 10 total in the tour. All of us got along really well and we found out that everyone was going on a cruise later this week. Some even going on the same cruise as us. We ended with tapas and a drink at the art museum right above the Magic Fountain Show. We had croquettes and patatas bravas and they were delicious. We stayed to watch the Magic Fountain Show after the tour was over. It was at 9 pm. Everything was included in the tour. We didn’t have to pay for anything unless we wanted something extra when we were eating tapas. I would recommend Stephanie and this tour!
Stephanie was an amazing tour guide. She had so much knowledge and took excellent care of all of us. She knew I was traveling solo and even walked me to the metro, showed me what train to get on and even checked to make sure I made it safely to my hotel. Pepa was an absolute delight. So very knowledgeable and friendly. Not only did she lead a wonderful tour, she also assisted in taking some great pictures for us. This tour covered quite a bit of distance but at no time did it feel rushed or pressured.

It was a beautiful tour. Katy was spectacular from start to finish. I was a bit nervous we wouldn’t find her at the right meeting place but she communicated beautifully and all was well. The tour of Montjuïc was excellent. Our guide, Montse, went into great detail in explaining all the history and background related to our visit. The tour lasted just the right amount of time—long enough to see the castle and explore the surrounding area, as well as take in all the information Montse shared with us. She was very invested in explaining the history of our attraction and also gave locations and tips to guide us during the rest of our vacation. Super grateful for her!!

Stephanie was a fantastic guide - so knowledgeable of the wide scope of history plus the interesting "insider" facts that make it come to life! It was only our family on the tour - seven of us ranging in age from 6-67; Stephanie made it interesting for all of us, and really made extra efforts to keep our 6yo engaged. This is a wide-ranging tour - as it was, we all clocked way more than 20,000 steps. This could easily be two tours - one of the Las Ramblas-El Raval, another of Montjuic/Olympic/Fountains. I think that timing/step/tapas-wise that would be two better tours. But if you want to see (and get a flavor of) Barcelona in one afternoon/evening, this fits the bill! And lucky for us, the Fountains are back running, and we ended the tour with a spectacular display!
