We took the 3-hour Tapas tour the day we arrived in Barcelona to get a feel for how Tapas works in Spain. The tour is limited to 6 guests and we were lucky enough to have just us our guide Paula and a wonderful English lady named Shiela. We had such a nice time. Paula took us to three small tapas bars that we would never have found on our own. At each stop we had a drink and at at least one Tapa (3 at the last stop). The first stop, Paula chose our drink and the tapa which was great fun because it made some of us (my wife) try something new! Later, Paula gave us a choice of some different drinks but still chose the foods. We especially loved the tortilla! But best of all Paula was a wonderful tour guide. She clearly has a passion for food but also a great personality and a great sense of humor. By the end of the night I felt that I had spent the evening with a couple of good friends (including Shiela). Pauls was also very helpful answering some questions about the food, how to order, how to find a good Tapas bar, and some background on Barcelona. We were traveling further in Spain beyond Barcelona and she quickly provided some restaraunt recommendations via Whatsapp after the tour.
We had a lovely time on our tapas tour- learning so many tidbits about Barcelona and Catalan culture while trying delicious bites and unfamiliar, but very tasty drink options!
We had an amazing tour with Paula! She had cancellations and it ended up being just 2 of us which was great for us! She introduced us to 3 quaint spots, tapas and vermouth at the first spot, which we completely fell in love with and never would have ordered on our own. She had us trying things out of our comfort zone and we loved it all! Her explanation of the history of Barcelona and the food traditions made us love the city even more. She is the owner of the tour company and made our day in Barcelona so special. She also gave us recommendations for dinner near our hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was the highlight of our stay. We will recommend this to everyone we know coming to Barcelona. Thank you Paula!
Paula was amazing! Food and drinks were fantastic and we definitely saw small local places we likely would not have known about. As someone who doesn’t typically sign for a “tour“ Paula made us feel like we were just meeting with friends that live in Barcelona.
After booking and loving Barcelona Bike Tour ran by Buena Vista I enquired about a tapas tour and I am so glad I asked and found myself on this tour. Paula the guide took my husband and I on a private tapas tour around Barcelona and it was 10/10. Stricly local spots only with no other tourists, absolutely delicious food (that I would have never known to order myself) and a really memorable afternoon. Thank you!
One of the absolute highlights of our time in Barcelona! This tapas tour was the perfect way to experience the city’s food, culture, and energy all in one unforgettable evening. From the moment we started, it felt like being shown around by a local friend rather than a tour guide. We visited a fantastic mix of traditional and modern tapas bars — places we never would have found on our own — and every stop offered something special. The food was incredible: fresh, authentic, and beautifully explained. What really made the tour exceptional was the guide’s passion and knowledge. They shared fascinating stories about Barcelona’s history, neighbourhoods, and food culture, which made each bite even more meaningful. If you want to truly experience Barcelona beyond the tourist spots, this tapas tour is a must-do. Come hungry, leave happy, and expect to discover flavours and places you’ll be thinking about long after the trip ends. Highly, highly recommended!
There is truley nothing better than discovering the cuisine of a place, top it off with a guide such as Paula and her knowledge of the amazing spots the tour took us to. We loved every bite and every little gem we got to discover. Merci !
A fantastic tapas tour, relaxed, fun and lots of yummy food i would not have tried otherwise. A brilliant way to discover local spots, make friends and hear the stories behind them. Highly recommend.
Such a great tour! The guide took us to amazing tapas places that felt like where all the locals go. She had great knowledge of the city. We had an absolute blast. Highly recommend!! Will do this every time I come back to Barcelona
We lucked out with Juan Carlos for our tapas tour the night before our cruise. He had just wrapped up a bigger tour but was cool with keeping our booking even though it was just the two of us. Juan Carlos took us to three different spots with great food and drinks. First time trying vermouth with brandy and it was a hit. We had several small delicious sandwiches and a variety of seafood small bites that were all really good. He heard we wanted paella but didn't have time before we left, so he went out of his way to get us a small sample from one of the restaurants. That's the kind of guy he is. The sangria and cavas were excellent too. Along the way he showed us some historic spots in the Borne District we would have totally missed on our own. Juan Carlos is kind, interesting, and really knows his stuff. If you get to pick your guide, go with Juan Carlos. You won't regret it.
We had been recommended to join a tour with these guys and we re so glad we did. It was super fun, easy going and we got to enjoy some amazing food plus some really interesting cool spots that we would have certainly missed or simply not even found. Thanks for a very memorable experience.
Excellent tour around local bars where we ate delicious fresh tapas and sampled house vermut and local wines. I could do it all again! The highlight of my stay in Barcelona.
Fantastic tapas tour. If you are looking to get away from the tourist traps and experience REAL tapas in authentic bars frequented by locales, this is the tour for you. The food was excellent and the guide super knowledgeable and friendly
Wow what an amazing experience! This was hands down one of the highlights of my trip. It was such a unique way to explore the city. The route was perfect, we saw so many beautiful sights and hidden gems. Our guide was great - super friendly, knowledgeable and full of great stories about the city's history and culture. They made the experience feel more personal. And the tapas? Oh my god..so delicious! Everything we had was so flavourful and authentic. I'd 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona - it's the perfect mix of exercise, fun, food and culture. Gracias!
What a lovely evening we spent with friends and Paula, she took us to the best spots for tapas feeling like Barcy locals. Everything was so tasty, and we’ve learnt so much about their traditions. Including the weather was so nice. Thank you!
We had an amazing time on this bicycle tour on our first trip to Barcelona and are so glad we did it. The bikes were comfortable and well maintained (unlike other companies we’ve done this with before), which made the ride really easy and enjoyable. The information about the sites was interesting, and easy to follow (in English). The guide, Paula, was knowledgeable and insightful of the sites she took us to. We also loved the food and drink stops!! They felt like true local spots rather than tourist traps that one might expect on a city bike tour, which made the experience even better. 5 ⭐️ The length of the tour was perfect for my wife and I. We were able to enjoy the ride, take photos, and really enjoy the afternoon. I fully recommend this tour to anyone/family/couples visiting Barcelona. It was truly a highlight of our trip. Thank you!!
Marina was an incredible tour guide. She knew so much and was so fun! She had a great plan and made the day feel as if we were just hanging with a friend. Would totally do it again!
We took the tour with my boyfriend, we came from Switzerland looking for a different tour and to enjoy the food. What we like the most is going to restaurants and eating well. The tour was excellent, we have travelled at least 4 places, the tapas, everything was delicious and the guide was really very friendly. In each place she knew the owners and they gave us special attention. Super recommended!
