Barcelona & Montserrat: Semi-private With Pickup & Skip-the-line

We had the best time on this tour. Communication was wonderful, we got picked up on time right from our hotel and then made one more stop to pick up another two couples. So a total of six people. Our driver was Alex and he was excellent - he filled the day with so many stories and interesting facts. He would drop off of in certain areas, so that we could explore at our own pace and was ready and waiting to pick us up afterwards. We absolutely loved Montserrat, if I could change anything, I'd spend another couple of hours there! This is our second tour with this company, and they have come through everytime. Highly recommend!!!

We thoroughly loved, loved this tour. They picked us up from the port, which made it so easy to tour without any worries. The guide, Marta was warm friendly and very knowledgeable. The driver was a pro at getting safely around mountain roads. This was an 8 hour day but felt like much less time. They even paid for our taxi into the Gothic Quarter hotel after we were done.

We used Barcelona Day Tours for a day tour of Barcelona & Montserrat following our transatlantic cruise and were very satisfied with the service. They picked us up right at the port as soon as we disembarked. We packed our luggage into the van and we were off. The van was clean, spacious and comfortable, offering enough room for the luggage of our small group of 14 people. Our guide was very engaging, and gave us plenty of information about the places, we visited or drove by. Montserrat is really amazing with magnificent views, and the time we spent there was just right. The city tour gave us a good overview of Barcelona and covered most of the famous sights. Keeping our luggage with us and getting dropped at the hotel we key aspects of this day! We had a great day. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time on the tour. Pick up and drop off was easy, the tour vehicle was top of the line. Our tour guide Magdellina was phenomenal. Our tour was all the more pleasant because of her knowledge and experience. Richard our driver was very helpful and added to the pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this trip.

This was a wonderful tour! Martha was great. We had the best day. We were picked up from the Ship and dropped off at the end of the day at our hotels. We had plenty of time to look around at each stop and take picture. Each stop was amazing and beautiful.

Hotel pick up as on time. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable. All stops on the tour were well worth going to. I highly recommend adding the skip the line tickets.

I booked an excursion with Barcelona Day Tours for my husband and myself to visit Montserrat and Barcelona. Marta was an incredible guide!!! So informative and educational!! I don't think there was a question she couldn't answer. It is obvious that she loves the country and takes the time to learn everything she can and then share it with others. We would choose this tour company over and over again!!

Great tour. Guide was wonderful; stopping for pictures & expanding on what we were seeing with his knowledge of history of the area and with stories. He made the tour interesting and memorable. My wife and I had one day to tour around Barcelona before heading home from our cruise. This tour was perfect for that. We were picked up by our guide at the cruise terminal and driven to Montserrat in a very new and clean Mercedes sedan. And yes, we had a driver and a guide. It was a good thing too as the Montserrat was very busy and there was no parking. No worries though. The driver dropped us off at the site and then came back and picked us up right on cue. The guide was great. She showed us around and provided us with so much information. Then she gave us some ideas for things we could do on our own and let us explore for about an hour and half on our own. Then we drove back to Barcelona where we visited the Sagrata Familia. After a great tour of this spectacular site, our driver picked us and we took a very nice driving tour of the city before being dropped off at our hotel. Both the guide and driver could not have been better. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Dory was always helpful in answering every single question I had before booking. My wife and I had an amazing time on the tour. Marta, our guide , was beyond terrific. She had a great and optimistic attitude and gave us great historical and in depth information on Barcelona and each stop and landmark we passed. Monserratt was the best and it was helpful we got there early as it got crowded. Stopping and passing the near the Olympic village/ Montjuic was fascinating. Marta’s knowledge of Sagrada Familia made our tour much more enjoyable. Overall the tour was as expected as told to us by our friends who recommended it to us as we will recommend to others in the future. And if we are ever in. Barcelona again, we would certainly take another but different tour with the company.

The tour to Monserrat and Barcelona was a great day. We were picked up on time and brought to a meeting place. The tour guide was very informative. We got to see a lot of Barcelona highlights that day. They ore purchased tickets for us for park Guell and la familia Sagrada. Auerilio was a pleasure to work with on setting up this tour . This tour was wonderful! We were picked up at the port upon our return from our cruise. The company is very easy to reach. Communications are precise and fast. The guide are professionnal. Our CUSTOM and private tour for 20 persons is easy to book. They pick us up from the cruise port of Barcelona, for a 4 hours tour of Barcelona, Park Guell and the Familia Sagrada. We would like to commend Spain Day tours (Top Day Tours) for a job well done! we have used this tour company many times during the last couple of years. They are very reliable always pick you up on time whether it is at port or hotel. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and whether you take a car van or bus they are always clean. This year we booked a private sightseeing tour of the Gothic Area and inside the Sagrada Familia with skip the line tickets. Everything was great and tours was amazing. We were picked up at Barcelona Port with our luggage at correct time and also this tour included drop of at airport after tour. We did. 1/2 day city tour with pick up at the cruise port and drop off at our hotel. Pick up was the exact time we were told to be ready, luggage was stowed in back of mini bus/van and we were off. There were 11 of us from the cruise. Started out with an overview of city, drove by the Olympic complex from the 1994 summer games. Next we went to Park Guell (spent about an hour there), absolutely beautiful place to visit, then we went to the Sagrada La Familia and walk the exterior with a full explanation of each sculpture that told a story of Jesus’ life more or less. Highly recommend this tour company and will book with them again if we ever go back.

My family had a wonderful day out with Yolanda and Ali. They were professional and Yolanda was very informative during all the sightseeing. The mini bus was also perfect in transporting us to all the sights.

March 2025. We were a family of 5 (1 in a wheelchair) so we arranged a private 4 hour tour designed to accomodate our needs. Elena and Armondo did a Superior job and would recommend them highly. Dealing with this company exceeded all of my expectations. Thank You.

This tour was exactly as advertised! On time, well organized and provided a high level of historical detail. Impeccable English speaking guide who was kind, understanding and anticipated guest needs. The van was comfortable (small by North American standards so be aware leg room is slightly limited), immaculate and the driver was highly skilled and professional. You never know when you book a company online but I would HIGHLY recommend this group. It is a long day with lots of information so expect to be tired. I have some mobility issues and walk with a cane or walking poles on uneven surfaces and I could keep up with the group. Glad we booked with this company!

We were picked up at the exit of our cruise ship right on time. Toured both Montserrat and best of Barcelona in a comfortable bus with 12 others. Our tour guide Marta was excellent as well as our driver, Ricard. At the end of the tour they dropped us off at our hotel. Wonderful service and great tour if you only have a short time at the end or beginning of your cruise. I would absolutely do again.

We used Barcelona Day Tours in October for a tour to Montserrat and Barcelona. The tour was terrific. We learned so much and the sites were amazing. We plan on making a trip back next year and will be using them again for more adventures.

The day tour of Barcelona and Montserrat was an awesome experience which we enjoyed a lot. Hugo was really nice & was very informative about the sights & history of Barcelona. He was always engaging even if we were caught in the traffic going up to Montserrat. Our family learned so much and had a great time. We visited a lot of places in the time allotted and was on time getting back to the ship. We would certainly recommend the tour to our family & friends if they visit Barcelona.

The tour guide, Christian Meyer, was very informative. He has an in depth knowledge of the entire region and kept us on schedule to see even more than we had planned on seeing.

Took the BARCELONA AND MONTSERRAT --- full day shared tour with Skip-The-Line tickets @ Park Guell tour with Barcelona Day Tours. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent and pickup at the cruise port was as described and on time. Saw many beautiful sites throughout Barcelona, but the highlight was Montserrat...very interesting and beautiful. Plus they picked us up with our luggage at the cruise port and delivered us to our hotel at the end of the tour. Tour guide Marta??? was knowledgable and obviously loved her city, providing many interesting facts and stories throughout. 100% recommend.

The good tours are about having the same characters. Like on time, guides are knowledgeable, nice to everyone, willing to be flexible, you can name few also. This local operator is even better than this. They keep you informed. We received several communications after the tour was paid and confirmed. They included very detailed information about all the things as a foreigner could run into in a strange city. Yes, this local operator went a bit above and beyond. My wife and I travel around the world, there are really very few local operators do their business like this. It helps a traveler a lot. I highly recommend this tour.

I reserved through Spain Day Tours (same time I reserved for Seville). Communication was almost instantaneous, all staff personable and professional, price was reasonable, guide was knowledgeable on all aspects of questions, transportation comfortable, pick-up and delivery at hotel made it so easy. I can't say enough good things about Barcelona Day Tours. We really enjoyed our Monserrat/Barcelona tour. Marta and David were great. We especially enjoyed Marta’s passion and knowledge about history and architecture. We did a guided tour at Sagrada Familia the next day and found that Marta’s explanation about the exterior of the cathedral was a lot more detailed. I appreciated the pick up from the cruise port and the drop off at our Airbnb. It made things so much easier and it was nice having our luggage with us. The company did an excellent job of keeping us informed about what to expect. Their directions about where to meet after our cruise were precise & easy to understand. Because they stored our luggage and then delivered us to our hotel made this an excellent choice for a post cruise excursion. Alfredo was an excellent and patient guide. I highly recommend this tour.

Xavier was funny and thoughtful about passenger safety. The van was clean, comfy and roomy enough. Pick up at cruise port was smooth and drop off at hotel convenient! It was unnerving to make reservations to something we were not sure of and it could not have been better. Would do this again and would highly recommend it!

Highly recommend this all day tour in Barcelona in a clean Mercedes van. Small group of 8 had a great experience. The guide gave us great information all day long and the driver would drop us off at stops and pick us up after our tour at each location. We had a few hours between docking and our flight from Barcelona. We had never spent time visiting Barcelona, so we decided to take a short 4-hour tour, which included a general drive around the city, walking through Park Guell, and seeing the exterior of the Sagrada Familia. Our tour, which we reserved months before, was far better than we expected. We were met on time outside the ship and dropped off at the airport afterward in plenty of time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and his English was quite good. We learned much about Gaudi, which it turns out we now admire much more than we would have thought. We would definitely consider another Barcelona Day Tour in the future, and would recommend them to others.

I really wish I could remember our guide's name, because she did such a great job. When we went to Monserrat, it was beautiful to see. We had some free time there, so we chose to go up in the funicular to the top of the mountain, and we had a coffee/snack in the cafe. It was great. When we went back to Barcelona and went to Park Guell, our guide had so many fun facts she shared, and we absolutely loved the unique beauty of this park. But, there's more! When our group walked toward La Sagrada Familia, we were walking down a street and did not know that when we turned the corner, we would see the immense beauty of this structure. The members of our group kept looking at each other, because I think we were all in awe. When we originally booked this excursion, we thought for about a month about whether or not we wanted to pre-purchase the tickets to go inside the church, because we were worried about being able to get back to the cruise ship on our own and on time. We are so glad we bought the tickets. The inside of La Sagrada Familia was the most memorable part of our 14-day trip. It is absolutely stunning how the sun reflects through all the windows. Our guide told us that taxis are available right across from the exit, and staff from the church exit pointed and told exactly where to go. It was super easy, and the fee for the taxi at the time was about 18 Euros to get back to our ship. This was one of our favorite days on our whole trip!

We LOVED our tour of Montserrat with Barcelona Day Tours! Our guide Ewa was incredibly informative, cheerful, energetic, and passionate! We took many excursions while we were in various places in Europe for 18 days, and she was the best! Montserrat is a must-see tour in Barcelona, and we feel so blessed to have experienced it.
