We found the Banksy Museum informative and thought provoking. Good for someone new to his art as well as someone who's already a fan.
Great exhibit for a lot of Banksy exhibits Would recommend to friends.
Museum was larger than I expected. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the art and info!
Fantastic hour on a rainy day My two sons really enjoyed it
A very informative overview of Banksy and his work. Well worth the visit.
What an amazing museum!! So lucky we just walked by and saw the sign. A must see!
Very interesting place, I already knew about Banksy but here I've discovered more of his works. Also, Cristina made a nice introduction at the entrance.
A really interesting and engaging experience. The exhibition is well organized and offers a great insight into Banksy’s art, style, and social messages. A must-visit for anyone interested in street art and contemporary art. Highly recommended!
I took the free tour on Monday with the guide Cristina, and had a great experience!!
There is a lot more here than I had been aware of--a nearly 25 year career. There is historical context provided for many but not all of the murals. It was an inspiring visit. It would be nice if there were a few more benches. Some of us older folks tire quickly.
A must see exhibition outstanding. Very interesting but who is Banksy. I guess we will never know hah
Interesting museum. A little dark to read the signs. Best to know about Banksy and his art before you go.
If you like Banksy’s work this is a must see display
This is a museum not to be missed. What a crazy character.
Went here today to see this museum. Very neat to see. Has different languages as well to read.
Renee was wonderful! Really enjoyed the museum.
10/10. Extremely thought provoking as expected and spend a good amount of time chatting with the staff who were very friendly and informative. Id highly recommend this museum even if you dont know Banksy, you will by the end or maybe it will show you a little about yourself. Time will tell
Bought tickets for the Barcelona location by mistake but the Madrid location was wonderful and took my tickets. It was an awesome experience.
This has a comprehensive display of Banksy reproductions, very well laid out and with informative captions, plus videos about the man and his work. It may seem a strange thing to find in Barcelona but it is well worth a visit if you appreciate his art.
Awesome experience, very interesting and full of learning opportunities. Very welcoming staff, definitely recommend
Really enjoyed this museum and learning more about Banksy! It’s the perfect size and it wasn’t too crowded.
Good museum. Lots of interesting works, well laid out, and good explanations in multiple languages to help give context. Was glad I stopped by.
A fun, if a little small, museum that shows off the works of Banksy. Three floors of exhibits ranging from his early works to his works in Palestine. The bottom floor is very moving especially the recreation of the Walled Off Hotel. Also, sign up for the spray workshop. It was a ton of fun getting to recreate a Banksy work in your own way.
We hadn’t planned on going to this museum originally, but when trip advisor sent us an email with a promotion we decided to go the last day of our trip. It was well worth it! Not only was the exhibit really interesting but the extra fee for the spray paint workshop was way more fun than I thought it would be! Well worth it!
Absolute fantastic, we love banksey and the way he expres his believes through art. Though it is local artists who made the exibition, it is still amazing
Really enjoyed the museum. Bought the tickets online before we went. Arrived in Barcelona on a Thursday afternoon. Our hotel was 2 doors away but it is also close to the city center (about 4 easy blocks to get to). There are three floors and just a few stairs to walk down. Museum is not large and there were no crowds on that Thursday afternoon so it was a nice experience that anyone of any age could experience. His exhibits are very good. The price is very good. We would recommend stopping by it.
What a gem of a museum. Not crowded, very educational. Very well laid out and so interesting. Reasonably priced €11. Highly recommended. If you're sick of the crowds and the lineups and the congestion, this is the museum for you. Banksy forever!
Loved the museum! Got the free guided tour in English on Monday, at 4:30pm. The museum is not too large and all pieces can easily be watched within 60-90 mins.
Thanks to Laïla and her great service!!! I had a really good experience there and it was really fun. I went to the gift shop and Laïla was very nice to me and my family!!🫶🫶
Fantastic insight into this mysterious and fascinating street artist. An easy visit — you can do the whole museum in 90 minutes and not miss anything.
Nice experience, especially thanks to Leila, who explained us everything and made this experience memorable Will come back again!
Laila and Renep were so friendly and welcomed us nicely. Such a nice place to be, Banksy is an intellectual and the messages are strong
Whether you love street art or not, the Banksy Museum in Barcelona should definitely be on your must-see list. I won't say more, just go there and follow the footsteps of the 'rat'. Very helpful staff; Leila and her colleague from the museum shop are very nice.
Museo Banksy in Barcelona is a captivating tribute to one of the world’s most enigmatic street artists. The exhibition is thoughtfully curated, showcasing powerful pieces that reflect Banksy’s unique blend of wit, social commentary, and creativity. The immersive layout and informative displays make it easy to appreciate the depth of his work. A must-visit for art lovers and anyone intrigued by modern urban culture. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city! My guide Renee was a pleasure to have around
Great experience, well curated, was a very good experience and would highly recommend. Easy to get to, a great walk from the centre
The artwork is insane. The staff is incredibly good looking and friendly and everyone has positive energies. Thé museum is spacious to appreciate the layout and the fun artwork in the garden over the weekend is an amazing experience for adults and thé kids. Great memories. Would highly recommend.
Banksy museum was a great experience. The mix between the replicas and the actual framed original pieces was an eye-catching adventure. All of the pieces have a plaque with an explanation in multiple languages, which was very helpful. Worth the money!
The exhibition and the museum is really charming. Some of the pictures are repetitive, but I don't think that took away from the experience. If I were back in Barcelona again, I would probably go around again.
We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. It was really cool to get a feel for Banky's larger body of work. His socio-political commentary has been spot on and is more important than ever!
Banksy's work is just so cool, thought-provoking and very accessible. The museum has a very large selection of his works. The museum does a good job of explaining the works and various phases of Banksy's career via labels and wall plaques. A difficult aspect of visiting the museum is that Banksy has not authorized the reproductions of his works and has said he is against the commercialization of his art. But, as a practical matter, how is one to experience his works otherwise? It's a catch-22. That said, highly recommend a visit.
I know that some people criticise the various Banksy Museums in Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels etc for, reportedly, having no connection to the artist at all, other than showcasing his/her/their thought-provoking work. For me, visiting presented am excellent opportunity to see so many of Banksy’s creations all in the one place. I mean, who has the time or opportunity to travel to see those that have survived in situ? I sure don’t. Promptly, I arrived with my online-booked day ticket (€14 adult rate) in the afternoon of The Great Power Cut on 28th April last. Having waited for roughly three hours for the electricity to come back on, the staff had finally decided to close but were quick to assure me that I would have no problem gaining entry with my ticket on the following day. True to their word, they welcomed me back a day later and even stored my shopping bags behind their reception desk. Thanks again! I spent just over an hour in the exhibition space, and it was time well spent. As far as I can tell, their replicas of Banksy’s well-known and lesser-known work were really well executed, and accompanied by brief information as to when, where and what. I found this presentation of the many exhibits very helpful and really enjoyed my visit. Obviously, it’s not the Museum’s fault that most of Banksy’s art, by its very nature, is very depressing and it’s a sign of our times that it can’t be more uplifting. Where would be the point in that? Having noticed that one of the English-language translations of explanatory text in the exhibition was shown next to the wrong artwork (or the other way around?), I mentioned it to a young lady at reception before I left. Kudos to her: Instead of fobbing me off with some excuse, she readily engaged, knew which piece I was speaking of, and assured me that a correction of their error is in hand. I must say, I’ve had much worse feedback in much more highbrow museums in my time, so, all due respect with regards to customer service at Museo Banksy Barcelona!
Renee is great at the reception. She helped me to have a good start of the visiting and a good memory with photos. Thanks Renee❤️
Nice to see and read descriptions of the reproductions! As this is not a museum associated with Banksy, I wish there was more info on where the ticket prices go. Any contributions to support his vision?
My entire family loved the exhibits at the museum! The layout was great and the works were clearly labeled. I’d highly recommend visiting this fun and thought-provoking museum!
Absolutely outstanding! Exceeded our expectations on every level. Well laid out and lots of information. 100% worth visiting!
It is an extensive exhibit with great depictions of Banksy's art. Many artworks to see. Must see. Worth it
Really enjoyed the Banksy museum, I didn’t realise there was so much thought to the pieces so learnt some interesting things about the artist. Was cool to see some of the famous pieces as well as some pieces I wasn’t familiar with.
Nice to time spent here. I never realised there were some many pieces by Banksy. It is about $15 for entry. Go at a nice slow place. They have a nice gift shop at the end that is reasonably priced.
Yes, there might not be original Banksys in here BUT (and it's a big but) the information given next to each reproduction and the way it is laid out allowed you to enjoy his art without the usual missing context. This, added with the fact the staff were fantastic with my 4 year old granddaughter, made for a great visit.
