Before heading to the balloon launch site, make a stop in this tipical Catalan Cafeteria for you to have a quick coffee, drink a fresh orange juice and get a quick snack. This place is the meeting point with the ballooning team and also be your last chance to go to toilet...
You will be driven outside Barcelona and reach the meeting point in the flying area, next to Vic city. Take off place is very close from the city, and be prepared to contemplate, from the air, the old town of Vic city with its medieval streets and tipical Catalan Masia. You will also fly over Catalonia countryside, get fantastic views of the Pyrenees, Montserrat, the Mediterranean, the massifs of Montseny and, depending on visibility, even Barcelona itself
From the hot air balloon you will discover the beauty of the Montseny Natural Park with its big mountain culminating at 1700 meters, at just 40 km away from Barcelona. During the winter time, you will see snow on it !
Our team will drop you off in this popular famous place. Located in the city center, you can start another activity from here, or just go to the nearest restaurant in the Ramblas street.

A early morning pickup from close to the hotel, then a drive to the balloon. We had a great time, flying about the clouds for a spectacular view.
Wonderful experience. Very well organised, very kid friendly, even though it was a foggy day we had a great view above the clouds, a truly memorable experience. The driver looked like Stanley Tucci which was a welcome bonus 😍
Super experience. The crew was very professional and even though we had fog they dealt with the weather to make sure we enjoiyed ourselves. Everything went well from pickup to return drop off.

We did a private balloon ride and were picked up by Domi at exactly the scheduled time 6:30am. The drive to the takeoff location was about 45-60’ with a brief coffee breakfast stop on route. Nicolas was our pilot and the owner. We were present as the ballon was being filled which was cool to see. Liftoff was seamless and once in the air it was smooth sailing. Nicolas was super professional, knowledgeable, funny and pleasant for the entire time the four of us were inflight in the basket with him. We would have liked to have gone higher but I think Nicolas was sensitive to the fact that one of our friends was prone to having a height panic attack. Flight direction is totally dependent on the wind so you do not land where you takeoff. Nicolas’s colleagues follow the ballon in a truck and Nicolas lets them know where we be landing. Once on the ground we had a celebratory glass of Cava and received our flight certificates.

Incredible and worth it. This was an absolute treat to get to do! I did this with 3 friends, the basket fits 8 people so we were there with some strangers but we all had a great time. The early wake up time is worth it. In the HOT august city air, stepping out of the van into the more moderate country side was a sigh of relief. The breakfast place didn’t have much selection, but worked for a coffee and pastry. Everyone was very well knowledgeable and we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. We were in the air just over 1.5 hours. It’s truly breathtaking. It is a luxury to get to experience but worth every penny.
Our three generation family experienced an unforgettable morning ballooning. Everything www wonderful. From timely pick up to enjoyable ride, it was all well coordinated and super fun. Muchas gracias to Santi and the team.

The ride was nice and memorable. The entire crew was knowledgeable and humble. They made this activities enjoyable with the post flight celebration and certification. Make sure to reach on time at the pickup location if you taking this trip from Barcelona. This is time bound activity so they can't wait much longer if you don't make it on time.

Such a wonderful excursion! Domi picked us up in the city centre and took us out to Vic. We had a quick bite to eat at a cafe before heading out to the field for lift-off. It was an amazing experience being so high in the sky in nothing other than a floating basket. We saw views of the Pyrenees and Montserrat in the distance. Our pilot Santi gave us a run down of how the hot air balloon works. All-in-all, a great half-day, memorable activity!
We were a family of 6. We were picked up promptly from the meeting point in Barcelona and transferred to the Catalonia region for the ride. The whole process from start to finish was great and well organized. Loved the balloon ride. Absolutely gorgeous and perfectly safe. 10/10 recommend.

This was one of those once in a lifetime experiences that was well worth the cost! Domi, Santi, and their team made this bucket list activity safe and fun- they felt like family and we loved their Barcelona recommendations beyond ballooning. The activity went flawlessly, and will be something we will always remember fondly about when we think about our first trip to Barcelona.
I booked this as a surprise for my partners 40th birthday whilst we were in Barcelona. The communication leading up to our visit was excellent. I chose the pick up option (worth doing) and we headed to a little café for coffee to meet our pilot before going to the departure site. Once the balloons were prepared for flight, off we went! Although I was nervous, Nico our pilot put us at ease by explaining how it works, his experience and lovely stories about our surroundings. Once you are in the sky, its one of the most peaceful feelings, being guided by the wind; the views are fantastic and luckily we had beautiful sunshine. The ride lasted around 1 hour then on landing, the team wrap the balloon up and we shared a bottle of cava and some snacks. We didn't feel rushed and it was lovely to spend time afterwards chatting together. A truly wonderful memorable experience, still cant believe we've done it! Would highly recommend - Thank you so much Nico and the team, you made it very special!

My hot air balloon ride with BALLOONING Barcelona was an incredible experience. I’ve been wanting to go on a hot air balloon ride my entire life, and it did not disappoint. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The balloon was very comfortable. The ride was smooth. The views of the Pyrenees Mountains and Catalonian countryside were breathtaking. I was very satisfied and highly recommended this experience!
The balloon ride was very well organized. Crew was great, explaining the mechanics of balloon flight. And we landed on a farmer’s plot and helped out in keeping the balloon and basket, which was an experience on its own. We celebrated the completion with champagne and certificates. Highly recommended if you want a unique experience.
The fear of heights, immediately disappeared. We were made so comfortable from the minute we got to the site. We were a group of (older) Americans in a foreign country, with some apprehensions but Nick and his team made the morning totally unforgettable.

It’s a one hour balloon ride. We arranged for the Barcelona pickup, transported an hour away, to grab a coffee while waiting for the team to finish the balloon prep. Did the one hour hot air balloon ride, first time ever-so it was fun as a one time thing. Picked up in a field, a quick stop for coffee, then transported the hour back to Barcelona. Simple in nature, recommended for first timers.
