The brothers were very great to travel with. Their local info and history were very interesting. One of the most enjoyable tours we've ever taken. We will certainly consider future private tours after this experience. Having 2 guides definitely facilitated being able to stop and visit sites

What a fantastic day out with Carl and Peter. Hotel pick up was perfect, the van was air conditioned and everything exactly as advertised. The brothers were entertaining and we felt we had a real conversation with them about Andorra and the whole countryside either side of the route. The driving was safe and calm. We had loads of stops on the way and in Andorra, several interesting stops and good picks for meals and coffee. The combination of moving the van while we walked a bit was clever and saved no end of time. A thoroughly well designed tour delivered by two real friendly people-persons. Strongly recommended. Would book again. 5* friends and family test!

Peter and Carl made a wonderful team. Excellent information about the sites we visited, and enjoyed some special side stops with great views. Was really nice to be dropped off with one of the guides, while the other drove to a pick-up place so we didn't have to drive around looking for parking. Also great insite into geopolitical Andorra.

The visit to the town of Mont Louis was a perfect taste of French Country. Andorra was charming. The Pyrenees were beautiful all day long. Our guide..... THE BEST!

What a day!! Peter and Carl were exceptional guides. They are very knowledgeable about the history of Andorra, Spain, and France and made sure that we had time at several locations for pictures, shopping, and sight seeing. It is a bit of a road trip day, but the views are spectacular, laughs and good conversation were had, and the ride back to Barcelona is the perfect time for a nap with comfy blankets and pillows in the van. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to see the Pyrenees and Catalonia countryside with two lovely gentlemen leading the way!

I cannot say enough about what wonderful guides Carl and Peter are. They are not only extremely knowledgeable, but are also so engaging that even a tour that involves an 11 hour day seems to just fly by. They had a well-organized plan with enough flexibility to make the most of the time available. Andorra is so beautiful and we were really happy to have an opportunity to learn about their its interesting history and what things are like there today. It was a great opportunity to visit a little known place. We had an absolutely wonderful day in Tarragona with them two years ago and felt very lucky to be able to arrange this visit to Andorra when we were in Barcelona this month. I would highly recommend this tour or in fact, joining Carl and Peter for any tour.

This was the best tour that we've ever been on! Peter and Carl are great. They picked us up at the hotel and showed us a fabulous day of Spain, France, and Caledonia. They even tried the're hardest to find my wife a Dr Pepper soda, but there was none to be found. They really know the history of this area and kept us informed. They went over and above to make this tour great. They are highly recommend!

This excursion was well worth the money. We were picked up at the hotel and began our excursion starting in Barcelona. We stopped for breakfast which was fantastic. We then travelled on to see beautiful places, lots of history, and made various stops throughout the day. Carl and Peter were excellent hosts. They both went on for hours about the different countries and scenic sights we visited that day. Stopped for lunch at a quaint little restaurant they served delicious food. Then after a long day (approximately 12 hours) we returned back the Barcelona. Andorra was the best place we visited with lots of mountains, lots of snow, and beautiful town. If you do anything in Barcelona you must take this private excursion with two very wonderful gentlemen.

My wife and I were always curious about visiting Andorra. We found this tour online and it had the content we were seeking. We made the right choice. Carl and Peter (brothers) organized a very well balanced tour with breaks for breakfast and lunch. They have deep knowledge of all the spots we visited. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful day visiting Andorra from Barcelona with Peter and Carl of "Day Trips Barcelona." It was a day full of breathtaking scenery as we traveled through the Pyrenees Mountains from Spain to Andorra and France. Peter and Carl were fabulous guides and very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. They shared with us the history and culture, along with interesting stories of each area. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and a delicious lunch, a bit of shopping and took tons of incredible photos. We enjoyed the stimulating and intelligent conversation on a wide variety of topics, and the warm and open personalities of our guides. Carl's driving through the twists and curves of the mountain roads was impeccable and we felt totally comfortable the entire trip. This trip was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Andorra.

The tour guides started off the day asking us if we would like to change due to impending weather (that option and flexibility was very thoughtful). Our group decided to make a go of it. We felt safe with them driving through the downpours and conversations were had during all points of the drive. There were numerous unique locations that larger tours would not be able to make it to. They offered to additional stops along the way catering to how we were feeling. Meals were great. We all ate together and enjoyed the company. At the end of the trip we all felt like we made new friends. Our crew would definitely travel with them again. Not only for the a tour of a new location but simply for great company that they provide. Truly wonderful tour guides. Highly recommend. The rating doesn’t go high enough.

Amazing experience with Peter and Carl. Everything was meticulously organized, perfectly punctual and reliable guides. The day was well thought-through, we managed to visit multiple stunning villages in France, saw several locations in Andorra , had lunch in a beautiful restaurant in the ski resort . Van was great, with AC, pillows and water. Don’t be afraid to spend the money on this trip !

My wife, 2 of our children, and I did the half day trip with Carl and Peter to Montserrat. My family loved it and we all recognized it as one of the best days of our trip. Carl and Peter picked us up at our Barcelona hotel precisely as scheduled. We then spent the next five and a half hours with them driving out to Montserrat, touring the site, and driving back. They were genuine, humorous, and very likable. Lots of interesting information and conversation was shared. We chose to take the funicular ride up for a higher viewpoint. It is a beautiful area and we were with the best tour guides I think that I've ever had. Would definitely recommend this experience for those who want to get outside of Barcelona and explore, and would definitely recommend Carl and Peter for this trip!

100% recommended!! We (family with 2 teen boys) had an amazing day with Carl and Peter. Not only did we visit 3 countries, see amazing views, enjoy lunch, ample stops for quick hikes we got to enjoy their company and stories throughout the day. They had every detailed covered throughout the day - bottled water, pillows, candy, breaks and comedy. Both boys said they wished we could do another tour with Carl and Peter, definitely worth it.

I had a wonderful trip with Peter & Carl. 2 guides made it easy to walk in an area & then get picked up. No backtracking to the car. Andorra was beautiful with snow in the mountains where I could make a few snow balls. Warm & sunny in the valley with interesting stops. Carl and Peter were fantastic guides! The van was great and they provided blankets and pillows and water for the ride. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the region and the world. They adapted so well to our family of 6 of ages ranging from 13 to 78. They both made sure to connect and talk with each of us throughout the day. The itinerary and points of interest were well planned One would do short walks with us while the other would move the van to the meeting point. Carl and Peter are top notch and made the day so special, memorable, and enjoyable!

Carl and Peter did a wonderful job of showing us the Spanish and French countryside and exploring Andorra end to end. They were right on time to pick us up and everything went so smoothly the entire day. They have fantastic senses of humor and possess so much knowledge about the history and small details of everything we were seeing. It was great fun and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We sat back in their comfortable van and relaxed while staring out the window at the beautiful vistas. There were plenty of opportunities to get out of the car, look around a bit, and stretch our legs. While it was a long day, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Carl and Peter are the most excellent guides that we have ever had on a tour abroad. These brothers are knowledgeable, witty, and make you feel like family from the moment you meet them. They picked us up at our hotel promptly at the arranged time and guided us to their very nice van, where they had waters, blankets, pillows, and other amenities waiting for us to make our trip as comfy as possible. We toured from Barcelona over to the French border and stopped in France for a little sightseeing before we continued back into Spain on our way to the country of Andorra. Along the route, they entertained us with trivia, history, and personal anecdotes of the area and previous adventures. Upon entering Andorra, we made several stops at different monuments, cathedrals, and sites that were beautiful and breathtaking. We had to adapt our trip a bit because we drove into a snow storm in the Pyrenees that had snow flakes the size of my thumb. Carl stopped the van at a safe place so we could get out, throw some snowballs and take some lovely photos. They were cautious of the mountain reports and continually checked to make sure we took the safest routes in case of bad weather. We cannot recommend these two brothers and their tours enough. We will definitely be recommending them to friends and family traveling to the area and next time we’re back, we will meet up with them again for another adventure! If we could give them more than five stars, we would. Absolutely fabulous memories!

Carl and Peter were wonderful tour guides. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves. I unfortunately had a bit of motion sickness &/ elevation sickness and they were so kind and accommodating. Luckily it didn't persist throughout the whole trip and we were able to see some of the lovely sites and walk through some beautiful areas and churches of Andorra. The weather was not on our side as it was raining and snowing, but Carl and Peter made the experience amazing nevertheless. We will never forget this trip and definitely recommend to anyone who wants experience something outside of the city of Barcelona.

My 8 year old son and I traveled with Day Trips Barcelona to ski in Andorra from Barcelona for the last day of our adventure in Spain. We could not have had a better time. Carl and Peter are thoughtful, adaptable and funny. From ensuring we had a few items that we did not pack to taking fantastic pictures, I couldn't be happier. They work well as a team and ensure not only enjoyment and entertainment, but also education about the area you are exploring. The nerd in me loved this. My son can be a bit shy, and Carl and Peter won him over quickly. By the end of the day, I don't think he wanted to say goodbye to them. He just gave a presentation to his class about our trip and highlighted how great our ski day with Carl and Peter was. This was a splurge for my budget and I tend to do things while traveling on my own, sans assistance. I am so, so happy that we did this. It truly was the highlight of our trip. I have lots of pictures of my son and I together (mums- you know you are never actually in the pictures as you're usually having to take them). I didn't really think about this prior, it was a nice benefit I hadn't considered when planning and booking. If you are in Barcelona and want to have a great time exploring, these are the guys you want to spend the day with.
