Wilson Boutique Hotel

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Wilson Boutique Hotel. The location is good, although there isn’t a metro station very close by, so getting around sometimes meant changing two buses. Our room was comfortable and had a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Everything was clean, and the room was serviced every day, which we really appreciated. We were also lucky to have a room facing away from the main boulevard, so it was quite peaceful at night. The hotel is in a rather unique building, which is definitely an experience! We found it a little claustrophobic, but I can imagine some people finding it charming and part of the character of the building. We always used the elevator. A downside for us was not having a balcony or any suitable place to hang wet towels or clothes to dry. There was also construction going on in the building directly opposite our room, with workers around throughout the day, which was an unfortunate surprise and affected the privacy a little. Another surprise was the city tax, which wasn’t included in the booking price. We may have simply missed this when making the reservation, but at around €8 per person per day, it added up to a noticeable extra cost. Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable hotel with good daily housekeeping and a nice atmosphere. Just a few practical things to keep in mind when booking.

It’s an amazing hotel don’t get me wrong but what lacks is service when it comes to someone being sick and just wanting the room for two hours more before checking out. My friend is sick and can’t move much due to her body fatigue. I asked for the room if we could hold it off until 2pm or 1pm but the receptionist got all rambling on how we have to check out and it’s all full today yet when I asked for the price for one more night she was quick to give that(not full from what I presume) plus there were ants in our room which was annoying since the space was very limited. Our checking in was awesome though because the other receptionist was much more kinder and gave us information on the buses and where to get metro cards along with places to avoid that are deemed dangerous. I wouldn’t book here again knowing that if someone falls sick they wouldn’t be king enough to give the room for an hour or less.

We had a great experience staying at Wilson Boutique Hotel! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to get around the area. Parking in the area was a little difficult at first, and we were frustrated after parking somewhere expensive before check-in. However, when we mentioned this to the front desk, they kindly informed us that the hotel offers a contracted parking rate. I believe the front desk associate’s name was Alia, and she was incredibly helpful. She checked us in quickly, explained exactly where to park, and even held our bags while we moved the car. Thanks to her help, we were able to reduce the parking cost from about €45 per day to only €15 per day! And when we were checking out, another front desk is kind enough to offer to keep the bags before our flight. Alia’s kindness and front desk team's excellent customer service really stood out and made our stay even better. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in a really nice area of Barcelona in avenida diagonal. A lot of shops, restaurants, cafes and markets around it. Public transportation is about 5 minutes away, but plenty of taxis around at good prices. The service was good and are very helpful at providing information and recommendations. The room was nice, spacious and beds were really comfortable but there are two things I will suggest. First a bathroom glass door partially frosted is not ideal when you are travelling with family and two the shower glass separator is too small way too much water splashes out, we had to put multiple towels on the floor. Overall our stay was great and would recommend this hotel. And for the few people complaining about the construction noise next to the hotel, there is not much a hotel can do about that. Is a major city, there is always going to be construction around.
