Vincci Maritimo

We went here for the second-half vacation this summer, and we chose this hotel for its convenience and reasonable price. For the good sides, it’s really easy to get to a bar, restaurants, or shops. It’s in a very local district. And you can quickly get to a metro station near by, beaches, or the Diagonal Street, for a city walk, very chill! But still something to say, which is about the noise, the first night, when we arrived, it’s 2am, and we were seeking for a good rest, but 6am, we were surrounded by noise, the people outside were talking loudly, the cleaner next door were lagging furniture.. these woke me up. I contacted receptionist immediately, the lady was nice and promised me to switch to a garden-view room instead. Another problem was, we could still hear cleaners lagging furniture and the ringing.. in the new room..if you prepared ear plugs, that’s not a problem(we bought earplugs from a local store and finally got a good sleep ). I think that’s the only problem they need to consider and deal with. The rest are fantastic.

This 4-star hotel is very close to the beach and had excellent service. The receptionists were very helpful in everything and kind as well. They were what contributed to the high rating, along with other things such as the cleanliness of the room, which was spectacular. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to send me a surprise brownie tray with a hand-written card for my birthday!!! What excellent service I’ve never seen in other hotels and I’m lucky and grateful to have booked with them. The only thing I would comment on is the blanket of the extra bed we ordered, which was very thin and was not enough to maintain warmth, unlike the duvets provided in the actual beds. The view was not that great, but I think there was an option to book a room with a good view.

Stayed here for my business trip, the rooms were very spacious and very welcoming after a tiring day. The service was equally good, the front desk staff wished us everyday without fail and I appreciate that. The breakfast had multiple options and I had the opportunity to try most of them. The quality was very good. It felt secure as well with security watching the lobby area after dark and in the early hours. Will definitely return for my future trips. Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend !!!

We had a great & memorable stay at Vincci Maritimo. We were there to celebrate my husbands 30th and prior to our arrival the staff went above & beyond to help decorate the room for the occasion. I did pay extra for the celebration pack but staff went one step further and printed off photos and hung them on balloons for us! Sebiana was insanely helpful & gave us so many tips and hidden gems! The hotel itself was immaculate, clean and modern. The location was fantastic, just a 5 minute walk from the metro which is such a good system, way better than the London tube and so cheap to get around the city, as well as being a 10 minute walk from the beach and seafront. It’s in a quiet area of the city away from the hustle and bustle but easy enough to reach the centre. The only negatives would be the hotel has no pool, you can use the pool at their sister hotel Vincci Bit, however it’s extremely small and has only deckchairs, no sun loungers. Also the hotel rooms are lacking a balcony, but this wasn’t a major issue for us. The celebration pack was €90 and was great, however it was meant to include a welcome cocktail upon arrival, but instead we were given 2 free drinks tokens, but weren’t able to claim a cocktail with these. We didn’t have breakfast as it was €20pp and instead found local cafes for pastries or breakfast. All in all a fantastic, memorable stay in Barcelona made by the team at Vincci Maritimo.
