We had a room on the 6th floor with a view of the Sagrada, which was amazing. Whenever we used the pool, it was never crowded, so it was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. I expected a little more from the food, but overall everything was great. The location was perfect—we were able to walk everywhere. I also received a lovely little birthday treat, which was a very thoughtful gesture and made my stay even more special. 😇🩷

Visited for 3 days in May 2026. A stay at Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia offers an excellent blend of comfort, style, and convenience in one of Barcelona’s most desirable neighborhoods. Located just a short walk from the iconic Sagrada Família, the hotel provides easy access to many of the city's top attractions while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. One of the hotel's highlights is its rooftop terrace and swimming pool, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of Barcelona’s skyline and the famous basilica. The on-site dining options and terrace bar add to the experience, making it easy to unwind without leaving the property. The surrounding neighborhood feels more authentic and quieter than some of Barcelona’s busiest tourist areas, yet remains well connected to the rest of the city. Whether visiting for sightseeing, photography, or a relaxing city break, this hotel serves as an excellent base. With attentive service, sustainable practices, and a prime location, it is easy to see why so many travelers rate it highly.
It was my first time in Barcelona, and staying at this hotel made the experience even more memorable. Every single member of the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The facilities exceeded my expectations, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The shower had excellent water pressure, and I have to mention the hair dryer it was honestly one of the best hair dryers I’ve ever used in a hotel! A special thank you to the reception team for their professionalism and for taking care of our luggage. Their kindness made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and definitely worth waking up early for. From the fresh bread to the butter and all the other options, everything was flavorful and of excellent quality. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and would love to return in the future. ✨
Great hotel located just a few minutes’ walk from the Sagrada Familia. The rooms are quite small and have an open-concept bathroom, which may not suit everyone—especially if you’re not traveling with someone close. The shower and toilet are only separated by a sliding door, and the sink is essentially in the main room. The breakfast is a highlight, with a wide selection of high-quality ingredients, great coffee and drinks, and freshly made omelets prepared in front of you. The hotel also has a nice rooftop bar, mostly self-service, with great sangrias and a direct view of the Sagrada Familia. There’s also a small pool area—not the best view, but still a pleasant spot to relax with loungers. While the location isn’t very central for exploring the city center, it’s only about a five-minute walk to the metro, making it easy to get around. There are also plenty of shops nearby and a pharmacy right across the street, which is very convenient.
I visited the rooftop bar at Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia (El Cel) and had a really lovely experience. The view of Sagrada Família is a big highlight. It’s not the closest or most direct view you’ll find in the city, but it’s still a great spot to take it in — and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The rooftop terrace itself is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating areas, and everything felt very clean and well looked after. It was quite peaceful and quiet, easy to have a conversation compared to other rooftop terraces I’d visited. Service was excellent — drinks came quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. There’s also a great variety of drinks on the menu. What I really appreciated was that the waiters took the time to explain the history behind the hotel and the surrounding area. They shared that 1882 — the name of the hotel — is the year construction began on the Sagrada Família, which was such a nice detail to learn and made the experience feel more meaningful. I’d definitely visit again.
