Petit Palace Eixample

We had a pleasant stay at Petit Palace Eixample. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and its location made it easy to explore Barcelona. It’s very close to the train station, making it convenient to get around the city—Sagrada Família is just three stops away. Amor at the restaurant was excellent: helpful, attentive, and welcoming. Chef Mayte’s food was delicious, too. Reception was also very helpful. Overall, we had a lovely experience.

We had a genuinely wonderful stay at Petit Palace Eixample and would absolutely choose it again. The hotel was spotless throughout, comfortable, and very well placed for exploring Barcelona. Public transport was incredibly easy, with a bus stop almost directly outside and the metro only a short walk away. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafés in the immediate area, and having a small supermarket right next door was surprisingly useful. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous and varied buffet that still gave us plenty of choice after several days. The rooftop pool and seating area were another lovely addition, especially when we wanted an hour to relax between sightseeing and dinner. But what really made this hotel stand out was the staff. We rarely encounter such genuine warmth and hospitality. Everyone was consistently friendly, approachable and helpful, always available when we needed something without ever being intrusive. Nothing felt forced or overly formal, just people who seemed genuinely interested in making their guests feel welcome. Add the cleanliness, convenient location, great breakfast and rooftop to that level of hospitality, and it made for a very easy and enjoyable stay from beginning to end. We would happily recommend Petit Palace Eixample and would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, beautiful and spacious room with a view of the main avenue. Pleasant rooftop pool with a view of the surrounding rooftops. Delicious and varied breakfast, including fresh vegetables and fruits, pastries and hot food, tasty coffee and desserts, very delicious. Very nice staff trying to help with any problem. Heartwarming welcome with wine and chocolate. Old building, which caused a terrible sewage smell from the plumbing in the restroom. They changed our room. The entire restroom and shower area requires renovation. The room itself is beautifully designed and the small balcony is charming. The location is wonderful, close to the university and therefore has a young and pleasant vibe, and within walking distance to the city center for shopping, the Gothic Quarter, and the Sagrada Família.

The employees at the Hotel were very friendly! We alway got greeted very nicely and warm hearted. There was always someone on the front Desk, even late at night, I really appreciated that. The room was ok, bed was pretty small for two people and was noisy (squieky bed) Room was not very noisy facing in the backyard. Bathroom was good and you have some privacy. The breakfast I really liked the most! I really can recommend that. The Pool and Whirlpool were not that inviting. All in all, I would go again.
