We had a family of four trip to Barcelona, we stayed here for 4 nights. The room was wonderful. We had the quadruple room, the arrangement was a king bed with two bunk beds, it worked wonderful for our family of two adults and 2 kids. The room has plenty of space for our suitcases, and we were able to store our clothes in the small closet in the room. From a location perspective, you’re right in the Gothic Square, so it gave us plenty of opportunities to walk around and take in the sights around the hotel. If you’re planning to use public transportation, the hotel is very conveniently located to a metro stop, we used public transit and this was very helpful. The restaurant and bar had great food and the staff at the hotel were wonderful from the moment we arrived! We thoroughly enjoyed Barcelona and plan to have a return trip, we most likely won’t stay in the Gothic Square again, but if we planned to stay in that area, this hotel would definitely be a top-notch option for accommodations.

Stayed for 1 night in early October with children. Arrived early to the hotel expecting to leave our bags and return later in the day for check-in. Alexis was very helpful and pleasantly surprised us with the room being ready early - which gave us an entire day to explore Barcelona. Rooms are basic, but clean and beds are comfortable - overall perfectly fine for a city centre break. Location is superb and hotel staff are excellent. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is centrally located, and most places can easily be reached on foot. The room itself was fairly standard. These were the positive aspects of our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not particularly good. The room did not feel as clean as we would have expected, and the bed sheets had a rather strange and unpleasant smell, which made the stay less comfortable. Before arriving, we had booked a room for three people. Unfortunately, one of our friends broke her foot and was no longer able to travel, so we contacted the hotel to ask whether it would be possible to change our reservation from a triple room to a double room and receive a refund for the price difference. They responded very kindly, saying they were sorry to hear about what had happened and that they would like to help, advising us to contact the booking platform through which we had made the reservation. However, when we contacted the booking platform, we were informed that the hotel had actually declined our request. What made the situation even more disappointing was that the hotel then offered to move us to a double room while still charging us the full price of the triple room. We expressed our disappointment about this, in a polite manner. From that point onwards, the hotel’s attitude changed completely. They stopped responding to our questions regarding check-in and other practical details about our stay and simply ignored every message we sent. Needless to say, after this experience, I would never choose to stay here again. I suppose when booking a hotel, you prepare yourself for many possibilities — a disappointing room, poor cleanliness, maybe even some unexpected extra charges. What you don’t normally expect is for your hotel to get offended and give you the silent treatment. :)
The rooms are very small. We book 4 people room. One king and two bunk beds. So small that we cannot open the luggage. We have to jump over our luggage to go from one side to another side. The washroom is big though. I think the room was originally a king size room. They seem to have build a wall to make room for the bunk beds. The bunk bed side don’t even have any wall outlet. And the outlet behind the TV is very dirty. Didn’t want to plug in my devices. There are only outlets on the other side of the walls. Location is convenient. But lots of pick pockets. The other tourist in the hotel said they don’t even bring their cellphone out. Because a few times they discovered that their backpack zipper was all the way open by the time they go back. The service is very good. Staff is very helpful. Only if their rooms are more roomy. But if you are ok with the cozier size. Then this is not a bad choice. Just take good care of your belongings when out.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Bou for making our family holiday so memorable. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Every time he saw us, he remembered us, greeted us with genuine warmth, and always took the time to ask how we were doing and whether there was anything he could help with. His thoughtful and attentive nature made us feel truly valued as guests. On the day we checked out, he kindly offered to bring our luggage downstairs, which was another example of his willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. Bou’s exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and kindness did not go unnoticed, and he played a big part in making our family holiday such a wonderful experience. Thank you, Bou, for your outstanding service and for making us feel so welcome.
