Ohla Barcelona

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the Gothic Quarter, I cant praise and share my appreciation of all the staff enough, you are truly treated exceptionally well, the rooftop pool and bar was an incredible space to spend time with great views day and night. The morning breakfast was perfect, plenty of options and very delicious, very nice location to get around town to see the sights by walking and short taxi rides, I'll definitely stay here again.

Where do we start. My wife and I had one of the best hotel experiences. Not only was the hotel an awesome one, the staff there were another level. Special shout out to Miriam and Quique, who constantly went above and beyond to help us ensure we got the most out of our stay. They even helped us prepare a detailed itinerary of where to go and what to see. Amazing service, great accommodation. The rooftop Pool and Bar is a must. Will definitely go back there again.

I stayed at Ohla Barcelona for two nights in a Junior Suite. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The rooftop was one of the highlights of my stay, very relaxing, with stunning views over the city and the cathedral. Breakfast was also excellent. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of options available and never felt like I was missing out, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, it does seem that the hotel may be a little behind on room maintenance. I experienced issues in both rooms I stayed in, including lights that weren’t working, a broken phone, and problems with the doors/windows. The issue in my original room resulted in significant street noise and a very difficult first night’s sleep, which required me to change rooms the following day. That said, the hotel did ultimately take my concerns seriously and worked to make the situation right, which I appreciated. There is a lot to love about Ohla Barcelona, the property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the rooftop is fantastic, and the breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced as a vegan. With some additional attention to preventative maintenance and ensuring rooms are fully checked before guests arrive, the experience could be excellent.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly loved everything about it. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The housekeeping team did an incredible job. They came several times a day, and our room always had fresh water, clean towels, and a perfectly made bed. Everything was always spotless and comfortable. The front desk team was very helpful, and the bellman was extremely professional and assisted us with everything, including arranging taxis and making sure we had everything we needed. The level of service was exceptional, and we would absolutely stay here again. The only negative experience happened at the hotel restaurant. Our server, Solina, was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. We honestly wanted to leave, but we were so hungry that we decided to stay. Thankfully, Edgar was wonderful. He handled the situation professionally, made us feel much more welcome, and completely improved our experience. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service, and we will definitely return.
