Overall, the apartment was very poorly designed and not suitable for comfortable living. The layout was impractical, rooms were small, and the building is old, so smells from other apartments (especially kitchens) were constantly coming inside. It was also very dirty and had poor sound insulation. The bathroom setup was especially inconvenient—one bathroom was located on the balcony, meaning everything had to be fully closed off just to use it, which felt very uncomfortable. The second bathroom was also poorly designed. Service was disappointing. We had to drive 15–20 minutes to another part of the city just to pick up the keys, then return to the apartment. When we immediately reported that the apartment did not match the photos or price, they refused a refund and offered two alternative apartments in much worse locations, which was not an equivalent replacement. Considering the booking was made only about an hour before check-in, they could have simply refunded the money, as they didn’t lose any real opportunity. Instead, they kept the payment and handled the situation in a very unfair and unprofessional way.

Where to start. We only had the apartment overnight (literally there 10 hours), and thank god we did. Don’t get me wrong, it is clean and in a lovely location. The main bedroom and living room are nice and serviceable…. BUT…… check in isn’t until 3pm, and there is no notice in advance that you have to collect the keys from a 20 min ride away. We had to find a bag drop, rather than leave the bags at the office which would have been another taxi ride. So we had 25 mins (was busy) taxi to the office, 25 mins back to the bag drop and another taxi to the apartment as bag drop was at the bottom of La Ramblas. The apartment has ‘nothing’ except toilet rolls already in the holders, don’t expect cleaning supplies or even salt/pepper. Kitchen has very basic equipment. But we could not help laughing at the main bathroom being a cupboard, you have to walk through the actual shower to get to the toilet. It took ages to find. The two twin rooms were both windowless, tight fitting rooms and all mattresses were poor quality and door handles missing. Very soul-less. Ok for one night. The biggest complaint i would have is that the photos are from a few different apartments, you don’t know what you are getting at all. This should be split up into separate apartments, or only show photos of the apartment you are renting. Had the check in been easier, or more local, it would have changed our opinion of the experience a bit. But you can’t get away from the fact that the apartment has been squeezed so tight that 2 rooms and both bathrooms are in cupboards. There are better places….
