The best thing about this property is its location, three minutes from the metro, within a 15- or 20-minute walk to the Cathedral, and near the Arc de Triomf. There is a 24-hour mini-market in the adjacent building. The individuals I dealt with in addressing questions with registration, check-in, and entry to the property were responsive and helpful. The WiFi is good. Otherwise, there were many disappointments. The description of the property on Booking.com makes it sound better than it is. The online registration and check-in process is not clearly explained on the website and required too much time and energy. The digital remote entry system is buggy. I had to wait for an hour for a friend to arrive before we could use their device to gain entry. You can check in in person, but at a location far from the property. The beds were very uncomfortable. None of us slept well. There is no cold water in the second bathroom's shower. The guest has no control over the heating/cooling system. It was cold in the flat at night and we could do nothing about it, other than use all the available covers, which were not adequate. The shower head in the main bathroom is clogged. In the main bathroom, the shower is leaky and winds up flooding the floor. The TV remote control is defective. The power button does not work. There are no consumables at all in the flat. No coffee, sugar, etc. Not even a bottle of water. None of these things are advertised, but it would be nice to include them in welcoming a guest. I'm sorry to have to post a predominantly negative review, but I could not stay here again, despite the fact that it is perfectly located near a friend's place. Most of the problems are easy to fix, but the beds are the biggest issue and need to be switched out.

Do NOT Stay Here - A Complete Nightmare If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst apartment stay my friends and I have ever experienced. It single-handedly ruined our trip. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were in for a terrible time. The hot water was non-existent for our entire stay, and despite repeated promises to fix it, no one ever showed up. We were forced to take freezing cold showers every day. The apartment itself was in disrepair and felt completely unsafe. The main sliding door to the outside didn't lock, and the handle kept falling off. There were also missing slabs on the porch, which was a clear hazard, and the pool was too filthy to even consider using. The most horrific part of the stay was the shocking behavior of the management. Our neighbors were having a loud party, and we were wrongly accused of making the noise. Without any evidence, the host locked us out of the apartment and demanded a €400 payment to let us back in. We even provided evidence of our neighbours party which they ignored. This was blatant blackmail. We were forced to pay to get back into the place we had already rented. They then unjustly kept our €400 deposit. This is not just a bad stay; it's a scam. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. This place is an absolute disgrace and will ruin your trip.
We stayed at this property from 20 July to 26 July, and it was by far the worst accommodation experience of my lives. We strongly urge others not to book this property, as the service is extremely poor and there are elements of fraud. Below are the key points of our complaint: 1. We were Late Check-in and waiting on the street neatly 4 hours . We arrived in Barcelona at 9:00PM and reached the city centre at about 10:30PM on 20 July . As we knew the property had no front desk, we immediately called the contact number provided upon arrival at the airport. The staff claimed there was no record of our booking and said they would check and call us back. After more than 10 phone calls back and forth, we were still unable to enter the building when we arrived at the address around 10:30 PM. Finally, at almost 2:00 AM, we were able to check in. My two young children were completely exhausted, and we had been waiting on the hot street for nearly four hours. 2. Room Condition Completely Different from Agoda Listing We booked via Agoda, but the room provided was entirely different from what was shown in the listing. The condition was extremely poor: the bathroom door frame was broken, the living room floor was damaged, and the bedroom curtains were torn. We booked 7 days / 6 nights for 2 adults and 2 children, paying nearly €1,700, yet only two toilet rolls were provided for the entire stay. 3. Air Conditioning Problem Not Fixed for Most of the Stay The unit we booked had a ground floor, first floor, and rooftop terrace. On the first night (after finally checking in at 2:00 AM), we discovered that there was no air conditioning on the 2nd floor where all the bedrooms are located. All four of us had to sleep in the living room that night. On the morning of 21 July, I called customer service, and they promised someone would come to fix it that day, but no one came. I called again on 22 July, and they made the same promise—again, nothing was done. Only on 25 July, after returning from sightseeing, did we find that the 2nd floor air conditioning had finally been fixed. For 6 nights, only the living room/kitchen area had air conditioning, and we were forced to sleep there. We demand fair compensation for this. 4. Unlawful Withholding of €400 Deposit Upon check-in, we paid a €400 deposit. However, upon check-out, the property refused to return it, claiming that a “noise detection device” showed that we exceeded noise limits and that neighbours had complained. This is absolutely false. We did not make loud noise at any time. On one night, someone even knocked on our door in the middle of the night—how can the property prove that any noise came from our unit? We were a family of four, including two children, making only normal living sounds. I believe this is a fraudulent practice by the property to profit by withholding guests’ deposits. The so-called “noise report” they mentioned—how can they prove it has any legal validity? How can they prove the noise was ours? The €400 deposit deduction is unreasonable, unacceptable, and shameful.
Horrible Experience: Bedbug Infestation and Refusal to Refund Review: I rented an apartment managed My Space Barcelona through Booking.com for the period of November 5 to November 28, 2024, and had a terrible experience. On November 13, I discovered the apartment was infested with bedbugs after suffering severe bites. Initially, I thought it was an allergy, but once I realized the issue, I immediately informed the company and Booking.com. The company provided a license dated October 16, 2024, claiming the property had been inspected and cleared of issues, with the license valid for six months. However, bedbugs were found on November 13, just weeks after the inspection, as proven by my evidence. Worse, I found a review from another client a week prior, also mentioning bedbugs. This clearly shows the company was aware of the issue but failed to take action. Despite reporting the problem, my emails were ignored for days. When I visited their office, they refused to refund me and told me to resolve the issue with Booking.com. After escalating the matter through Booking.com, the company refused to authorize any refund. They only agreed to return my €400 deposit, which they were already obligated to return at the end of my stay. However, they continue to withhold €1,800 for the days I couldn’t live in the apartment (November 13–28) due to the appalling and unsafe conditions. Additionally, other reviews confirm systemic issues with this property, including repeated mentions of bedbugs and fraudulent practices such as withholding refunds and deposits. This company is clearly untrustworthy, negligent, and indifferent to tenant safety. I strongly advise against renting from this company or staying in their properties. They failed to take responsibility, ignored tenant health concerns, and demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. I will continue to report this case to consumer protection and sanitary authorities to prevent others from experiencing the same. Rating: 1/5
EDIT on May 10 2024: I saw your response claiming we never stayed with you. Awesome! Be sure to tell AMEX that when they call you to investigate the $400 "security deposit" you charged us and never returned. I'm sure AMEX would LOVE to know why you're charging people who never stayed with you! It''s also pretty incredible that you claim we never stayed with you when I have screenshots of a conversation with you on WhatsApp. ----- ORIGINAL REVIEW: BluePillow should remove this slum “hotel” from its listings. ✅ bed bug infested. ✅ no hot water. ✅ disgusting bathroom. ✅ no response from owners. If you want to hate your life and spend hundreds of euros cleaning your personal belongings after being attacked by dozens of insects, you’ve found the perfect place. All that’s left is for the owner to steal my $400 security deposit, and we’ll have the perfect vacation from hell. -10 out of 10. I would rather vote for Donald Trump than stay here again.
