Apartment that we had was ok at first glance , however we found out that bugs live with us ( i mean big ones and they are very fast also ) , the bed was terrible but not the matress it was the actual bed frame that was squiking at every move ( horrible ) , aside from that we found out that switches for the lights work only in 1 way meaning you had no chance of controling the lights from 2 points as intended ( most likely the electrician had a bit too much Sangria ) we decided that next time we will find difrent accomodation

Pro-Tip - Skip Mila Barcelona Aparmtments I want to save the next traveler the experience we had at Milà Apartments in Gràcia. **A contract we never agreed to, sprung on us at the last minute.** With roughly 24 hours' notice, we were handed a contract we had never seen — loaded with fees that appeared nowhere in the original listing, including separate kitchen, cleaning, and garbage charges on top of the stated deposit. That is not how a legitimate booking works. Fees you'll be charged should be disclosed *before* you commit, not presented as a fait accompli once you've already paid and arranged your travel. **Festival noise they could not possibly have been unaware of.** The listing presented the apartment as quiet. Our stay coincided with the Festa Major de Gràcia — a massive annual street festival with live music and crowds directly outside the building until around 4am. This is not a surprise event, it's been going on Aug 15 to 21st for 200 years. It happens every single August, on these exact streets, and a professional rental operator based in this neighborhood knows it is coming. Choosing not to disclose it to guests who are paying for a place to sleep is, at best, a serious omission. **A host who stalled instead of helping.** When we raised these issues, the response was avoidance. Vrbo itself contacted the host multiple times to advocate on our behalf, and each time the host stalled and delayed rather than resolve anything. When even the booking platform can't get a straight answer out of your host, that tells you what kind of operator you're dealing with. Gràcia is a wonderful neighborhood and the location is central — that's the one honest positive. But between the undisclosed festival, the last-minute contract full of hidden fees, and a host who dodged accountability even under pressure from Vrbo, I cannot recommend this property. If you book here anyway: get every fee in writing before you pay, and ask directly what events are happening on your street during your dates.
Good location but extremely noisy. I also would not rate them 4* as there is lack of attention to detail I'm terms of cleanliness, furniture and fixtures eg. The bed was extremely creaky. The keyless system is in theory a good idea since the reception is 30mins away but it can only be on one phone so not very helpful.
The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a great stay. The location was excellent—making it easy to explore the city. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona.
We had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful two-room apartment that was both clean and spacious. Its prime location allows for a leisurely 20-minute walk to the iconic Sagrada Familia, and we found convenience at every turn with numerous supermarkets and shops, including pharmacies, bodegas, and clothing stores all nearby. While the management's strict adherence to kitchen cleanliness and garbage disposal rules is commendable for maintaining high standards, I believe there are opportunities for improvement that could significantly enhance the guest experience. First and foremost, revamping the check-in process would be a game-changer. It can be quite inconvenient for guests, especially those arriving from long flights, to travel to a separate location just to collect keys. A streamlined check-in would truly elevate the experience. Additionally, I encountered difficulties with slow internet connectivity and faced challenges getting in touch with customer service for assistance. Strengthening communication channels would be beneficial for all guests. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I genuinely believe that addressing these aspects could make future visits even more enjoyable. Thank you for considering this feedback!
