That hotel is so so good! My favourite things: super quiet room (classic room, windows to the backyard), Marshall speaker in a room to create atmosphere, and every detail is just full of taste! I enjoyed it immensely. And staff! So friendly and helpful. Free water, coffee, tea in the room. The location is just superb. And the room service!! Oh my god. Such a luxury to have your food delivered to your room, decent price too. Could be a downside for some: rooms are not big, but not as small as other reviews claim. I had enough room for everything I needed. Breakfast is just classic hotel food, nothing fancy. But in a city like Barcelona (so so many tasty and cheap places to eat) not a problem at all!

I booked this hotel for my wedding as I got married at Santa Maria Del Mar. I paid €600/night because some kind of conference was happening in Barcelona. I asked for early check-in as my wedding was at 5pm and being able to get in at 2pm or 1pm instead of 3pm would’ve made an enormous difference for me in getting ready. I included this request on my original reservation, but still had to remind the check in staff several times. I tried to book the room for the night before as well to even avoid this issue but it wasn’t available, so I was there at 11am the day of (super early) and they told me someone would contact me if the room freed up. No one ever contacted me, so they did not make this effort for me or go the extra mile to make the early check in happen. If they won’t do this favor for a bride on her wedding day, don’t expect much from this hotel in terms of service. Speaking of the wedding, no one cared at all that it was my wedding day - no mention of it anywhere or from any staff. Of course this sort of thing is never expected, but if I’m paying €600 a night, it would go a long way to justify the price. I also left an enormous black steamer in my room that I had brought for my dress. I called the hotel about it after I realized. It took hours for them to get back to me so after calling twice more, they finally reported to me that nothing had been found. The hotel is beautiful and well kept with lots of goodies in your room. As long as you just need to get in and get out I’m sure it will be fine, but I wouldn’t book here for a special occasion.
My wife, six month old daughter, and I found the Miiro to be nothing short of amazing. They are very accommodating and the front desk staff are very knowledgeable/helpful. The property is beautifully designed, with a unique rooftop/pool, beautifully crafted rooms/restaurants, and conveniently located next to Ciutadella Park and the gothic quarters. Upon arrival, we had some hiccups, and the staff/management were very sincere and accommodating to make sure we felt welcomed/accommodated. We will certainly be back! Thank you for an amazing experience thus far.
Borneta is located in the El Born area, opposite Parc de la Ciutadella and just a 3-minute walk from Estació de França train station, which was perfect for our stay. Arriving at 9 a.m. after a long international flight, we knew our room wouldn’t be ready and that we were in for a loooong day, but the staff graciously welcomed us with a refresh suite stocked with Le Labo Santal bath products. This gave us somewhere to shower and change before venturing out, while also storing our bags. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality, and we were even given coffee vouchers to use at Volta restaurant on the property, which brews excellent local coffee. The lobby lounge/restaurant area is incredibly well designed, with artful touches throughout. You feel as if you’re in a friend’s living room — very comfortable but still chic. This continues into the room design, which reminds you that you’re in Spain. Far from generic or cold. I appreciated the choice to forgo housekeeping in exchange for drink vouchers, especially as we were (sadly) only staying for 2 nights. The aperitivo hour was also great value at €5, and as someone who works in design, I loved the hotel branding, right down to the menus. We briefly visited the rooftop at sunset, which features a beautiful reflective sculpture beside a small plunge pool with loungers and a bar. Borneta reignited my love for Barcelona. This was my third visit to the city, and I would gladly visit again, but now I also have my go-to hotel to recommend!
Great hotel in a wonderful area close to shops and good bars and restaurants! Lovely little rooftop pool area and easy to ring for drinks from the bar. Very clean and comfortable rooms with lovely bathrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast on site but wide range of choice with quality ingredients. Would recommend x
