Whilst the Hotel may be classed as a budget Hotel, it was nonetheless very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic offering a huge variety of cooked foods pastries and cold meats. The thing I particularly liked was the juice was freshly squeezed. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. If I were to return to Barcelona again, I would have no hesitation in bookings Hotel once more where everything was in walking distance.
Had an incredible stay here! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Barcelona with everything within walking distance. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. A special mention to the staff, who were extremely welcoming and helpful with great local recommendations. Definitely a 5-star experience, and I will be staying here again!
Great location and friendly staff. I was in room 202, my colleague 315. Both were deeply dirty by which I mean they had been cleaned of dust but dirt had seeped in to the tiles over the years and felt like prison cells. My bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke, hers of sewage. View if you open the frosted window
I can't believe this hotel has a 4-star rating! We booked a double bed, but what we got was a tiny single bed — it was ridiculously small! The entire bathroom was filthy, and the faucet was rusty. I swear, it's even worse than some 2-star hotels I've stayed at! The only positive thing is its location, which is decent. Other than that, this place is a complete disappointment. Save your money and look elsewhere!
Only stayed for one night. I set my check in time for 12:00, arrived at 11:45 and was told the room will be ready for 2:00pm. I was totally fine with it and they took my bags for the meantime. When I came back they told me the room will be another 20 minutes which then turned into another almost 2 hours. I did not get my room until 3:45pm almost 4 hours later than the original 12:00. Then for checkout, I booked for 2:00pm and even confirmed with the person at front desk after the check in situation. I then receive a message around 12:00 saying I am past checkout time. I explained to them to situation and they said “We have taken note of the situation and want to apologize, as a gesture we will grant you 2:00pm at NO EXTRA CHARGE” even though it was already booked for then. I WAS STILL CHARGED AN EXTRA FEE!!!! 4 hours late check in, messed up checking out times, and charged me extra when they specifically said they wouldn’t as a gesture for messing up. I felt completely taken advantage of by this hotel and they ruined my first 24 hours in barcelona. I also see the hotel only respond the good reviews and simply does not care about the customer experience of the hotel.
