We arrived tired after our cruise, and the best part of our stay was the excellent service from Rubén. He gave us our room before the official check-in time, helped us with everything we needed, was very friendly, and was attentive throughout our entire stay. It's rare to find receptionists who are so professional and caring. The hotel was very clean, and the location was excellent as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Rubén at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, gave us great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help made us feel truly valued as guests. Ideally located, the hotel is neat and the room has all you need for a short stay, including AC which was vital in this hot summer weather. Also, the windows ate thick and well insulated so we barely heard anything from the street, even when England and Argentina won their WC games. Lastly, Rubèn, the receptionist, was always spontaneously helpful during our stay. You can’t go wrong with this hotel!
Two night stay during current heatwave. Thursday-Saturday. First night air conditioning did not work. Addressed issue with front desk, Rueben. Did not want to help told me to tell morning staff to have maintenance fix it. Witnessed several other guests with issues and same hostile behavior from Rueben. Rather than “how can I help you?” he said “what do you want?” He was either on his phone or watching the World Cup on tv in the lobby. Management needs to address his lack of hospitality in the hotel business. Ikonik will lose business if this is not addressed! The front desk young lady in the morning was very kind, what a huge difference! Spoke with her regarding the air conditioner and it was fixed upon return. Lowest temp locked at 19*. Stayed in room 108. Big room but amenities were limited. Coat stand , no closet. Definitely not 4 star hotel, more 2.5. Mold in shower and glass bathroom door rust and did not shut properly. Bed was firm. 1 pillow pp. Did not get €15 pp breakfast, so I can’t review it. Location was ok, near harbor but a lot of street construction with lots of machine and traffic noise. Would I recommend this hotel? Probably not, I’m sure you can find better amenities and hospitality. If you publish certain amenities at least have them! Was ill from the hot room. Expensive hotel for bad service.
This establishment claims to be a 4-star property. It isn't even close. In the United States, this is a solid 2 star. It's very worn, tired, and in disrepair. The 4-star advertising is dishonest in my opinion. The staff were great and service friendly. If I had arrived expecting a 2-star hotel, I'd have been happy.
