Huge Thanks to Leire Martin and Miguel from Guest Relations at Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower! We were so surprised and happy to receive a room upgrade during our one-night stay, especially since I’m only a Discoverist member. It was such a nice gesture and made our stay extra special. Thank you Both Leire & Miguel for your warm hospitality and for going the extra mile. We really appreciate it and would love to come back!

Hi all, What can i say about this grand and lovely place called the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower, we stayed here with our very high powered KIDDIES , which meant double trouble for the staff, but the staff were so friendly and nice to our kids, that our kids didn't wanted to leave from that place. All the reception staff was amazing and check in process was very efficient all thanks to the beautiful Miss Azan. The concierge team (THE IRON MEN ) were super great. The guest experience team Leader the charming young Mr Matteo was very kind and lovely, the breakfast manager and the breakfast was amazing . the Club lounge and its manager and staff were amazing. Our kids loved the swimming pool. The view of the sea from our room added more charm to our stay. The house keeping team kept our over turned room clean and tidy everyday. All we want say is that a very big thank you to all the staff at Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower for this amazing stay.
The good: -Cool modern building - very friendly front desk staff. - comfortable outdoor lounge area - the view The bad: - Overpriced food (burger costs €24) - Filthy windows diminishing the the value of the great view - Comically tiny gym (2 treadmills, 1 chest press machine, dumbbells up to 10kg) - There is a sky lounge/bar/restaurant, it was closed the entire time we were here (4 days, Fri-Tue) - there is another restaurant “Le Petite Chef” also closed. Only remediation is the lobby bar. - Breakfast staff turned the lights off on the guests at 10:40… breakfast is served until 10:30. that seemed weird/rude. The ugly: - Water: tap is safe but tastes like pool water. Hotel charges €6 (!?!) for 1 bottle of water. 2 250ml bottles provided on first day but no more. Staff stopped me from taking a water bottle with me after breakfast. - Room temperature: we stayed in a dual floor room and there are 2 AC units. Top floor did not work and was very hot. Maintenance came twice, and they did off we to change my room, but only on the last day and at 10pm. I asked for a fan they could not provide one. I do not reccomend you stay here. Better to get a boutique hotel closer to town.
I stayed here back in March 2026 for a night on my vaction to Barcelona to run the city marathon, and I still remember quite vividly the wonderful experience I had here. Definitely recommend. The room was clean and had everything I needed, the breakfast buffet was top notch with so many healthy choices that I loved, but the highlight was the friendly staff. Special shout out to Abrir for hooking me up with access to the fitness center attached to the hotel, such a nice facility. She was so kind and welcoming, and hope that she's still killing it at her karate tournaments. Would visit again. Thank you!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower. The property feels very upscale and modern, with spacious rooms that were both comfortable and well-designed. We also enjoyed the view from our room. The bathroom was one of our favorite features. The restroom and shower were awesome, with an ultra-modern design that felt clean, spacious, and high-end. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, helpful, and attentive, which made everything run smoothly from check-in to check-out. We also really enjoyed the unique lobby setup, especially the giant screen where you could relax, watch movies, and grab a bite to eat in a comfortable atmosphere. While the hotel is a bit outside of the main downtown area, it’s very convenient to get around thanks to a metro station just a 5-minute walk away. There’s also a supermercado right next door, which was super convenient, along with a few late-night kebab and breakfast spots nearby. That said, there aren’t a ton of dining options within immediate walking distance, so it’s something to keep in mind. Another huge advantage is the location if you’re flying in or out of Barcelona. The hotel is only about a 10-minute drive from the airport, making arrivals and departures incredibly easy. Overall, we felt it was excellent value for the quality, comfort, and service provided, and we would happily stay here again.
