I really liked this nice little hotel nestled on the outskirts of Eixample, a quiet location yet very close to the center. Cleaning is very well done, the rooms are nicely organized. There is a cozy terrace on the rooftop where you can chill by the pool. The only downside for me is that the room doors are paper thin and you can literally hear any noise from the hall or when your “neighbors” open and shut the door, not very good for sensitive sleepers like me. However, I can’t say that this was a major issue for me, I would definitely return.

Free water can be found in the gym. Some of the Staff are nice - the one lady that checked us in just seemed like she did not want to be there. Maybe language barrier Rooms are newley renovated so that’s great Location is on the rougher side of the city. Close to the centre though (25 min walk) Gym is tiny and can only comfortably fit 5-6 people Pool is extremely small and narrow I wouldn’t stay here for more than 3 nights They charge you for everything here
We didn’t love our stay here. We came here for our anniversary and were very disappointed. We booked an upgraded ‘larger / balcony room’ that was advertised as being a double room. Upon checking in we discovered the room actually had two single beds, pushed together. The beds were also on wheels so moved. When we went to reception to complain that we’d booked a double room, not twin bed room, we got told that all of the balcony rooms are twin rooms and the ‘images when booking showed this’. That is simply not true; the room is advertised as being a double. The room was also not large at all, rather it was small and cramped. When booking the room we were asked if it was for a special occasion; yes, our anniversary. Not only was no effort made to make our stay special (not even a simple gesture like a card or a drink or even a ‘happy anniversary’ from the staff), they actually ruined our stay by forcing us to sleep in two single beds. The staff were generally unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful. Any interaction with them seemed like they were being greatly put out, as if guests were a problem for them. The room was not cleaned on the first day, we had to call and request them to come and clean it in the evening. Coffee sachets were missing from the room, no milk was provided. The minibar situation was confusing/unclear; there was a clear list of prices for the food / snacks, but no prices given anywhere for the drinks in the fridge. Many hotels do provide free cold drinks, so we assumed the water / fanta was therefore free - nope, charged 3€ per item. An unwelcome surprise. All in all I would not recommend this hotel. They gave us the wrong room type, refused to help or change and didn’t seem to care, made no effort whatsoever to try and resolve the problem or even to pretend like they cared. The first ‘four star hotel’ in spain that i’ve been to which doesnt provide free bottled drinking water. Our big anniversary weekend in Barcelona that cost so much money was somewhat ruined by this place. It’s more like a 2-star hotel run by rude staff 👎
Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, not because of the room itself, but because of how little respect was shown for our privacy. Before leaving the room, we placed the Do Not Disturb sign on our door. When we returned, we found that someone had entered our room and removed the spare key card that had been left inside. We immediately went to reception to ask why anyone had entered our room despite the Do Not Disturb sign. The only response we received was that it was “a misunderstanding.” There was no proper explanation, no genuine apology, and no attempt to make things right or reassure us that our privacy and belongings had been respected. The staff seemed to treat the situation as if it were insignificant. For any hotel, respecting a guest’s privacy is one of the most basic expectations. If a Do Not Disturb sign is displayed, entering the room should only happen in exceptional circumstances, and if a mistake is made, it should be handled professionally with a sincere apology and appropriate follow-up. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. This incident completely affected our sense of security and comfort for our stay. We left feeling that our privacy had been violated and that our concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. We would not stay here again, nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone who values privacy, professionalism, and respectful customer service.
The rooms are beautiful and the location is great! The breakfast was super. The gym is essentially useless for any kind of serious resistance training. Parking is really tight - don’t recommend unless you have a tiny car or high tolerance for anxiety. Room service works great and was good value. The coffee bar downstairs isn’t fully staffed, sometimes you have to wait a lot for someone to show up and serve you.
