Hotel Serhs Rivoli Rambla

Regarding our stay at your hotel, we stayed in room 028. Honestly, our experience during the four nights was completely unacceptable. First, we found insects inside the room, both in the bathroom and near the bed. In addition, the overall level of cleanliness was very poor. For a four-star hotel, especially considering the amount we paid for our stay, this is completely unacceptable. Second, one of the room service staff members opened the room door and attempted to enter while we were inside on more than one occasion, without first making sure whether the room was occupied or not. This constitutes a serious violation of our privacy and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We also suffered from continuous noise coming from the neighboring room due to maintenance or construction work. Throughout our stay, we were unable to get proper rest, and we were not informed in advance that this work was taking place. In addition, when we tried to contact the reception desk to find a solution to the problems we experienced, including the possibility of changing or upgrading the room, we did not feel that there was any genuine interest in resolving our problems or in caring about our experience as guests at the hotel. Honestly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had in Spain, especially in Barcelona. Considering all these problems and the attached evidence, we expect SERHS Hotels Rivoli Rambla to take responsibility for what happened and provide us with appropriate compensation. I do not see it as reasonable to pay the full cost of the stay after an experience of this level.

Honestly, such a lovely stay! The hotel was super clean, comfortable, and had such a nice vibe. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, but a special shoutout to Hernan at reception, he was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy to get around the city. The little details were also 10/10. The cookies at breakfast were AMAZING, and the chocolate on the bed was such a cute touch. Also, the bartender at the rooftop bar was so friendly and made the experience even better. And the welcoming glass of cava was honestly the perfect way to start the afternoon 🥂. Overall, really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back. Great service, great atmosphere, great everything.

What a great hotel. We had a balcony room with two bed (can be made into a king). It was comfortable, clean and quiet at night. The addition of the refrigerator and complimentary bottle of wine was a delight! The breakfast was a stunning presentation of local foods and so fresh. Our Concierge, Maria, was a fantastic resource for setting us up with maps and even lining up a Flamenco show for us. She was precise, friendly and very kind.

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels throughout our travels and this one ranks in our top 5. The service was impeccable! I had medication that needed to be kept cold and they allowed me to keep it in their refrigerator throughout our stay. The breakfast ranks in our top 3 all time best… the presentation was magazine worthy and the quality was top notch. The location of the hotel is perfect - right next to the metro station and right on the Ramblas. Our balcony had seating so we could watch all the action below while enjoying our complimentary bottle of wine. The rooms were very quiet and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Barcelona. We had to leave extremely early for our flight out of Barcelona, and they even packed us some breakfast so we didn’t miss out on our paid meal. We will definitely be back!!
