The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room could use some refurbishment but I was pleased to see that it was cleaned properly. We stayed for 3nights and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. We also tried the burgers on the rooftop, which were very good. The gorgeous views, great cocktails, and relaxing pool area were definitely highlights of our stay. Overall, we had a lovely experience and I would happily return. 💕🍹
For the amount of money this hotel costs it does not live up to it. Their policy on the temperature makes it so you cant turn the temperature as low as you want, with our room having 25-27 degrees celcius almost every night. This policy should be stated more clearly before you book, i tried looking on the website and they dont say anything about this, and if it does, it should be way more clearer. You also have to pay for all the nights of your stay before you check in, so we couldnt just check out and spend our hotel budget somewhere else. The fridge is very small and cant fit almost anything other than small drinks. Also we wanted to get some ice to cool our wine (because it didnt fit in the fridge) but the ice machine in the hallway didnt work either. I looked inside our icecube container and the ice tongs were full of white mold. Disgusting. Some places like the mirrors werent cleaned when we arrived. Most of the room was clean but for this price I expect everything to be shined up properly. The table attatched to one of the cabinets was very loose and could not put anything moderately heavy on it, or it would break. The gym: you can hardly call it a gym, a few cardio machines like treadmill, and 3 cable machines for weight lifting. 0 free weights. Its enough for a deload week i guess. Honestly the aircondition policy was so bad and it was so hot inside that this has to be a 1 star.
Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Sb Glow! Rooms were lovely , staff were friendly and location was great. The hotel was situated not too central so your slightly out of the busy chaos, however your only a short uber ride away from all the main attractions, the beach was also a great distance and only took us about 20 minutes to walk there. We booked breakfast only and breakfast was great and was on until a good time. The rooftop was great as were cocktails and the view was stunning! Some days we struggled to get a sunbed and had to sit and wait, however that’s always expected with a city-break style hotel. Overall would highly reccomend this hotel.
Infinity pool with amazing view. Hop on "red" bus stop right next to the hotel. Outside pool can be quite crowdy some times, so may be not enough sunbeds. Air conditioning is barely enough, yet loud. 0.5 degrees more and it would be hot. Almost 300EUR/night does not match the hotel. Extremely tiny table. Room wasn't cleaned for several days. The property, managed by a knowledgeable and friendly staff, is strategically located halfway between the Sagrada Familia and the Olympic Port waterfront, both accessible within 20mins on foot. We stayed in a junior suite with a balcony equipped with a sun lounger, a small table, and chairs, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The rooftop pool and bar, with views of the Glòries Tower, were also excellent. There are no major downsides, except perhaps for the room furniture, which is showing its age, and the lack of a smart TV; a omission that surprised us, but at the same time, we didn't really miss it. Cleanliness is impeccable, both in the room and in the shared spaces.
