Great location and a friendly reception team. There’s also a water refill station on each floor, which is very convenient. One thing to note is that the standard rooms all face inward, so there's no view and they can feel a bit like a box. We ended up upgrading to a better room, which made a big difference. The amenities are standard, though the bathroom layout is unusual—the sink is outside the shower and toilet area, as part of the main room.

Absolutely terrible experience. I had a fully confirmed reservation for June 2027, only to have the hotel completely cancel it a year in advance. Their excuse? A "system error" with their pricing for May, June, and July 2027. It is incredibly unprofessional to make guests pay for the hotel’s own administrative mistakes. They refused to honor the confirmed price and expected me to rebook at their "correct" (higher) rate. This has completely disrupted my travel plans and left a terrible taste in my mouth. Future travelers, please beware: your booking here is never safe. They will cancel on you without hesitation if it benefits them. Find a hotel that actually respects its customers and honors its commitments.

This was our second stay and unfortunately fell far short of our first. We reserved a superior room on the back side of the hotel. We arrived early am as many flights do. They did not have a room ready as expected. The desk agent said she would text/call us when a room was ready. We returned at 4:00 pm no call. We were told that they upgraded us to a better room. The room was somewhat in disrepair and on the first floor on the street side. Very loud street noise, carpet squares were separated dirty and there are no tissues in the room. Okay, so now we want to go up to their beautiful rooftop lounge. We were told they had a private party so it would only be available to hotel guests for 2 hours. Bummer. Okay, we go up and order some drinks and then try to order some food. Nope, the kitchen is closed. Really? Major disappointment. Well that was the case for the 2 nights that we were there. Hotel guests should always be a priority. Now comes the finishing blow. The second morning we get up around 8:00 and my wife is getting dressed. So, she opens the blackout curtain and staring her in the face is a window washer outside our window. No notice at all from the hotel and she's not dressed. That was completely unacceptable. We spoke with the hotel gm and he was very apologetic and credited us $130 (big deal) but it was not a good stay at all. Not sure that we will stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Passeig de Gràcia. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They assisted us with all of our room requests, provided helpful information about the city, and were always available whenever we needed assistance. What impressed us most was their genuine commitment to providing excellent service. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Alexandra, whose kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a real difference and contributed greatly to our positive experience. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. The location is excellent, situated on a beautiful, elegant, and very central street, making it easy to explore Barcelona. The service was outstanding, and every member of the team made us feel welcome. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
