I can mostly say only good things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, it has a good (direct) connection to/from the airport and the bed was very comfortable, so I really slept well. A/C worked well too. The neighbourhood might not be the nicest/cleanest but especially when directly booked the price/value ratio was very good, also having the rooftop pool in mind. This was a nice extra - however, don't expect a big swimming pool for thousands of people, but it was never crowded. What would help: more trays and storage space.

Great first impression. Friendly staff. Rooms are neat clean and practical. A safe is available for valuables. Facilities are great. Well done team Orangine.
The hotel is not bad, everything you need is in the room except for a kettle. The only downside is that the towels were stained, and in the morning when they started cleaning the rooms, they kept slamming doors and the neighbors slammed them at night, although there was a door closer, but it probably doesn't work since the door slammed so much and it was hard to sleep in the morning in silence. And the ventilation in the bathroom turned on and off by itself, and this also interfered with sleep unless you closed the bathroom door (but this gets annoying when you don't need the ventilation and it works from morning until evening)
We stayed three nights for a citytrip. The location is out of the city centre, in a mainly Latino neighbourhood. Plenty of small shops and cafés around, as well as two metro and multiple bus stops. You can get to the centre in less than 30 minutes. The rooms are large, clean, and beautiful, with a very big and comfortable bed. However, the windows are extremely badly insulated. You can hear pretty much everything outside: cars, dogs, even people talking. We brought earplugs the second night and that solved the problem, but be aware of this. We also addressed this issue with staff and they did not really seem to care, or they knew the hotel owner wouldn't fix it... Some staff members were kind and lovely (shout out to the lovely guy who brought us delicious pancakes with Nutella with room service), others were very unhelpful and stand offish, like other reviews have said. One of the people at the front desk seemed genuinely offended I interrupted his phone time to ask a question. A shame. All in all, we had a good stay here, but there are definitely some things that could be better.
It was a nice experience and the room was nice and clean. Sadly the 24/7 service that offers drinks were not available and the rooftop bar closes very early. The barista (lio) was a really cool dude and we got free snacks every time we ordered a drink. Additionally the drinks were a bit pricey but very good. All in all I would say it’s a nice stay but you have to travel quite a time to get into the main commercial area of Barcelona. 👍👍
