Spend a weekend in this hotel. From the check in and warm welcome until departure, staff is amazingly friendly and show a nice level of hospitality. I would highly recommend this location to anybody who likes a friendly environment with nice clean rooms and services in the centre of Barcelona - close to amazing food spots, and not needing a big pool area.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great hospitality from the hotel manager & staff and the location is just excellent! (just few walking distance away from great restaurants/neighborhood cafes and passeig de gràcia). The room was also very spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
We booked this hotel for a week-long stay and encountered a significant problem: water was actively leaking from the bathroom ceiling light fixture throughout our stay. We reported it immediately, and while the staff was polite, management offered only a bottle of Cava as compensation -- which doesn't address the core issue since neither of us drinks. We requested either a room upgrade or a night credit to reflect the inconvenience, but were told the manager wouldn't be available until our checkout day. That means during the weekend there is no one present to take care of potential problems with the rooms. We were offered a lateral move to an identical room, which seemed like it solved their problem rather than ours. If you stay here, be prepared that maintenance issues may not be resolved quickly, and compensation for significant room problems may be limited. The location is nice, but we'd recommend clarifying their damage and compensation policy before booking. UPDATE: We were able to talk to the manager over the phone. The 'deal' that was given to us: they won't charge us for the final night if we check out a night early. That's right. Leave early and we won't charge you for services we do not provide. How thoughtful.
Aside from the amazing service from the man who helped me up to my room and housekeeping, I didn’t find the experience at this hotel worth what I paid. The AC in our room was not working properly so the room was extremely hot. Thankfully the rain came in our last day and saved us from the heat. There also were no streaming options on the tv, just a few local cable stations which we didn’t run into at other hotels. I didn’t use the amenities because they were very small.
We stayed at Hotel Granados 83 after it was recommended to us by Jet2 staff, and we’re really glad we took their advice because it turned out to be a great place to stay while visiting Barcelona. The hotel is in the Eixample area on a quieter street, but it’s still very close to most of the main attractions. We were able to walk to a lot of places, including the main shopping streets and several of the famous sights, which made exploring the city really easy. There are also plenty of cafés, bars, and restaurants nearby. When we arrived, the staff gave us a really warm welcome and were friendly throughout our whole stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them. Whenever we had a question or needed help with something, they were happy to assist and always did it with a smile. The hotel itself is quite unique. It has a modern, stylish feel, but it’s filled with ancient artworks and sculptures displayed all around the building. It almost feels like a small museum in parts, which gives it a lot of character and makes it different from a typical hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. After long days walking around the city, it was nice to come back somewhere quiet and relaxing. One of the nice touches during our stay was that the hotel gave us free access to the nearby Egyptian Museum, which we really enjoyed visiting and probably wouldn’t have thought to go to otherwise. There’s also a rooftop terrace with a small pool and seating area, which is a nice place to sit and relax after a day out exploring Barcelona. We had a really good stay. The location is excellent, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the hotel itself has a very interesting style with comfort. It’s somewhere we’d definitely recommend and would happily stay at again if we return to Barcelona.
