Beautiful historic hotel in a great location. The staff was incredible, the room was terrific, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. One small word of caution for older guests or anyone with balance or mobility concerns, the shower/bathtub is luxurious and has amazing water pressure, but the step down when getting out of the tub is quite high. I’ve found this may be more common in Europe, but it is noticeably taller than a standard American bathtub. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Barcelona!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Fuster. Our room was both comfortable and spacious. While the interior felt a bit dated, I absolutely loved the original doors, chairs, and handles designed by Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The location is excellent—it’s incredibly easy to catch a taxi or walk to nearby attractions. To top it off, we received a very warm welcome gift from the staff for our honeymoon and enjoyed a spectacular view of the Basilica of Sagrada Família.
My stay at Hotel Casa Fuster was truly phenomenal. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—every staff member, from the front door to housekeeping to the kitchen, made us feel welcomed and cared for. I planned this trip as a surprise birthday for my mom and as a way to create new family memories after a difficult year, and it exceeded every expectation. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the warmth and attention we received brought us even closer. I’m especially grateful to Jenny, Rodolfo, and Melanie for their kindness and attentiveness when my mom wasn’t feeling well. I also want to thank Leire, Xavier, Melanie, Jun, and Jose for their hospitality, helpful recommendations, and assistance throughout our trip—they truly made my mom’s first experience in Barcelona unforgettable.
We only went to the roof top terrace - the views are spectacular! Service can be a little slow when it’s busy but staff are friendly and efficient! The downstairs lounge is elegant and peaceful if you want to avoid lots of people. Friday night had an excellent pianist.
Sorry guys, but I need to tell the truth. If a hotel charges that much per night, the rooms at least shouldn’t feel old. The furniture is old and scratched, and the bathtub also had scratches and yellow spots — I think they could at least repaint it if it’s that old. When I entered the bathroom, there was a strange smell coming from the bathtub. I don’t know what they clean it with, but the smell was like an old, old bath cleaner. About the location — the location is perfect. It’s right in the center, so you can easily walk around, see the historical buildings, and enjoy the architecture. The service was good, but not perfect. Breakfast was fine: you can find omelet, fruits, ham, vegetables, and other things. The exterior of the hotel is incredibly beautiful, but the rooms inside feel old and the bathroom smell is hard to ignore. I could understand if the price was low, but for this rate… guys, please renovate your rooms and bathrooms.
