Great base for a pre-cruise stay in Barcelona! Very nice ocean view! Stayed here for one night before our cruise and it was perfect. The location is ideal — right across from Parc del Fòrum, a 10-minute walk to Llevant beach, and the El Maresme | Fòrum metro (L4) is just around the corner, about 20 minutes to Sagrada Família. Our room was modern, spotless, and quiet, with a comfortable bed after a long flight from Canada. The 23rd-floor pool with panoramic sea views is the highlight — stunning at sunset. Staff at reception were friendly and efficient, check-in was smooth even though we arrived before 3pm. Diagonal Mar shopping centre is right across the street for last-minute supplies and quick food. Taxi to the cruise port (Moll Adossat) took about 25 minutes. Would absolutely stay here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a lovely stay at Hotel Barcelona Princess for my birthday holiday. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional. We felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. A special thank you to Antonio who helped us when we checked in. We had an issue with our room booking and he was so helpful, patient and friendly. He listened to us and managed to get everything sorted, which we really appreciated. His customer service was fantastic. On the night of my birthday, I was also surprised with a lovely birthday gift from the hotel, with some bubbly and a little birthday cake with candles🥹🎂🥂🔥. It was such a lovely surprise and made my birthday feel even more special. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly, down to earth and always professional. We felt listened to and really well catered for during our stay. Thank you so much to Antonio and all of the staff at Hotel Barcelona Princess for making my birthday holiday such a lovely experience. We stayed at the Barcelona Princess Hotel for 4 nights with our family and had a fantastic experience. Although we encountered an issue when we first arrived, it was dealt with promptly, professionally and with genuine care. A special thank you to Nicolás, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. His professionalism, kindness and commitment to guest satisfaction completely turned the situation around and made us feel truly valued. The true measure of a great hotel isn’t when everything goes perfectly, it’s how they respond when something goes wrong. Barcelona Princess demonstrated outstanding customer service by resolving the issue quickly and exceeding our expectations. An absolutely incredible experience! My stay at the Princess Hotel Barcelona was perfect from start to finish. The rooms are modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with spectacular views of the city that make the experience even more special. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and provide first-class service. They also knew it was my birthday and surprised me with a delicious cake and a bottle of champagne in my room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday even more special. Thank you so much! The hotel also has fantastic facilities, including swimming pools, bars, a well-equipped gym, and everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious stay. A bit of a confusing one. This hotel sits somewhere between standard and upscale and doesn’t fully commit to either. On one hand, the facilities are genuinely great. Two heated pools, gym, sauna and overall a really nice setup if you want somewhere comfortable to stay and relax. The room itself was fine. It was too hot and the toilet didn’t work on arrival, but to be fair they sent maintenance immediately and fixed it quickly with no fuss. Where it got strange was some of the policies. Asking to borrow a fork would have cost €6 and guests aren’t supposed to bring in outside food or shopping bags. That feels excessive when you’re paying over €100 a night and there’s a shopping centre right next door. Thankfully no one stopped us bringing in delivery late at night when the restaurant was closed, but the rule itself felt unnecessary. I arrived straight from the hospital and the staff were incredibly kind. They got me a wheelchair without hesitation and helped me up to my room. Honestly the standout of this stay was the team. Warm, polite and genuinely helpful throughout. Thank you so much to the team.
