Sometimes you encounter places that don’t feel like a foreign city, but like a long-forgotten home. Over the past few days, Barcelona showed me the quiet beauty of simply staying in the moment—between the sound of the ocean waves, the golden light in the narrow alleyways of the Old Town, and a profound sense of endless freedom. To be honest, I don't want to leave. How do you move on when your heart longs to stay? Perhaps traveling isn't about packing suitcases, but about gently carrying all these moments, scents, and reflections within you. Even when things didn't go quite as planned, the remarkable warmth, empathy, and care of the hotel staff more than made up for it—they made every moment feel easy and deeply welcome. Spain, you lent me a piece of your soul. Hasta luego, Barcelona—you stay with me. 🇪🇸🤍

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel and really enjoyed our experience. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable. There is also a minibar available if you would like to purchase anything. The bathroom and shower are very nice, modern, and have plenty of space. If you need an iron, the staff can bring one directly to your room. The location is great, especially for a beach vacation. The sea is about a 20-minute walk away. There are several grocery stores within a 6–8 minute walk, as well as many restaurants nearby—from casual meat restaurants to more upscale restaurants with excellent food. A shopping mall is about 10 minutes away on foot, and the metro and bus stations are approximately 7–10 minutes away, depending on your walking speed. The area felt nice and lively in the evenings. Even around 11 p.m., there were still people outside and children playing, but overall it was pretty quiet. The hotel itself can be a little noisy because you can sometimes hear people in neighboring rooms, especially when they are taking a shower or talking loudly. However, by around midnight everything usually calmed down, and we were able to rest comfortably. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast—it was amazing! There was a great selection of food, including prosciutto, blue cheese, good salami, plenty of sweets, different juices, sparkling water, coffee machines, and tea. I would recommend prepaying for breakfast for your entire stay because it works out cheaper and is definitely worth it. The hotel also has a pool and provides complimentary towels, which is very convenient. There is a rooftop bar (you can see Sagrada familia), another bar in the lobby, and a restaurant that stays open until around 11 p.m., so you can still get food later in the evening. They also have a sauna. If you would like to use it, just let the staff know in advance and they will prepare it for you. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The great location, comfortable rooms and beds, excellent breakfast, pool, bars, restaurant, and other amenities made this a great choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a relaxing beach vacation.
Rooms were a nice size, if I was phoned for the iron and more milk and sugar it was given quickly. The staff are kind and welcoming. They were always helpful too. The bathroom could be cleaned more but there was always enough body and shower gels, tissue available. Location around a 15 minute walk from tubes. For me that was okay for someone with disabilities it’s too much of a walk including young children if it’s really hot!! There’s a nice rooftop pool here which was really nice. Nice views from above. I didn’t use the sauna or gym so I couldn’t really comment on that. Breakfast was good all different types of bakery, plenty of food. There’s a pool table at the front near reception too, a bar at the side not too expensive either. Toilets behind bar. All in all I would recommend this hotel.
lovely modern hotel, great staff , nice food. Breakfast was good. Recommended for couples and older children. The pool is lovely but not the best for young children. As limited Sunbeds. If you want a pool holiday better to get a family hotel. The assumption is most people are sightseeing through the day. The roof top bar is lovely. Nice cocktails and drinks , lovely menu. Fresh food made there in the food top kitchen. Bar can take a little Longer as many want cocktails. Staff are very efficient and friendly. A great couple hotel to be fair. Easy to get to the Metro but a ticket for €11 and can complete 10 journeys. So good value. But also use free now taxi.
We have just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. My wife and I travelled with our two children for a quick beach break, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is ideally located for easy access to the beach, as well as the restaurants and shops at Diagonal Mar shopping centre. A taxi from the airport cost €40 and took around 20 minutes in light traffic. The hotel is situated in a quieter, more modern part of the city, so don't expect historical landmarks or cultural attractions within walking distance. Some might find the area a little quiet, but it suited our needs perfectly. The lobby is stunning, featuring a full-height atrium leading up to the 10th floor, where you'll find the pool, bar and impressive 360° terrace. The hotel has a semi-formal restaurant serving a good selection of Mediterranean and international dishes, as well as buffet options for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They speak several languages and were always happy to help with any questions or requests. Our room was clean, modern and well decorated. The in-room amenities included a fully stocked minibar, snacks and a Nespresso machine, with everything priced very reasonably for a four-star city hotel. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the 10th-floor 360° terrace. It offers a full 360 view of the city and includes a 1.34-metre-deep swimming pool, sun loungers, parasols, a bar, comfortable seating and plenty of tables. Drinks are priced as you'd expect for a four-star city hotel, but if you stick to beer or wine they're very reasonable at around €6 for a beer and €5 for a glass of wine. The terrace also serves an excellent selection of freshly prepared food, including pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and wraps. The pool was spotless, and the hotel provides complimentary towels for guests. It did become quite busy on the Saturday we were there, but that's to be expected during the weekend. The main restaurant serves an excellent buffet breakfast with a wide selection of continental and cooked options from around the world. Lunch and dinner are also available, with an extensive menu of Mediterranean and international dishes. We opted for a late checkout, which the hotel offers for €10 per hour after 12:00. We thought this represented excellent value, and even after checking out we were still able to use all of the hotel's facilities including the pool, bar and restaurants until we left for our 22:00 flight. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to solo travellers, couples, families and groups alike. If you're looking for a relaxed, hassle-free stay close to a beautiful beach, excellent restaurants and plenty of shopping, this hotel is an excellent choice.
