We are extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel and would not recommend it. After a few days of our stay, we returned to the hotel one evening and were greeted by a staff member in a very rude and aggressive manner. We were told that every time we entered the hotel, we had to introduce ourselves and provide our room number. There is nothing wrong with a security check, but the way we were spoken to was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The service throughout our stay was very poor. We ordered food, but no cutlery was provided. Our room was often not cleaned, and we had to repeatedly ask the reception whether housekeeping would come. There were no blankets in our room when we arrived, and despite asking several times, we only received them after multiple reminders. On the day of our departure, we asked the reception to book a taxi to the airport. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were told that the taxi had never been booked. This caused unnecessary stress and could have made us miss our flight. These were just some of the problems we experienced during our stay. Overall, the staff seemed disorganized, unhelpful, and lacking basic customer service skills. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and we will definitely not be returning.
Really close to metro station 5 minutes, the beach is 10 minutes maximun. Also a supermarket next to hotel. It has rich breakfast. And we got a anniversary gift from Hotel, for no extra fee. Clean, quiet rooms and friendly staff.
We stayed at Attica 21 Barcelona Mar with our family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was modern, comfortable and perfectly located near Diagonal, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and eager to help with any questions we had. Our room was clean, spacious, and ideal for a family stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily choose this hotel again on our next visit to Barcelona. Highly recommended for families!
So, from the beginning. The hotel check-in went quite smoothly. However, the entire reception staff seem nervous and irritated with their jobs, and we were surprised to be told that we had to pay an additional €50 city tax for our stay. As for the hotel itself — at first everything seemed fine, but after the first night we no longer felt that way. The windows in the room are not airtight; water leaks down them and the wind is very loud. The walls are quite thin, and you can clearly hear what the neighbors are doing next door. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, the sockets in the room do not work, and some of the lamps are also broken. The TV in the room is outdated; there isn’t even an option to download movie apps (such as Netflix or Prime Video) to watch anything other than Spanish cable. The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together, which is very uncomfortable. The cabinet doors are hanging as if they are about to fall off, and the curtains in the room are stained with some kind of black substance. The cleaners do not respect the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Moreover, despite entering the room every day, they did not change the bed linen even once — they only made the beds. I definitely do not recommend this hotel, and it certainly should not have four stars. The value for money is terrible — the quality you receive compared to the price you have to pay is unacceptable.
