Hotel Alimara is a modern hotel located in Barcelona’s Horta district. It has a central garden, several meeting rooms, rooms with flat-screen TVs, and a fitness center. All rooms at the Alimara Hotel have both air conditioning and heating. They all have a private bathroom with hairdryer. The Alimara’s restaurant serves Mediterranean food with a modern twist and there are children’s menus available. The hotel bar, SUMMUM, features a terrace and serves food, drinks and snacks. The hotel is located 1 minutes' walk from Mundet Metro Station, and it is a 12-minute journey into central Barcelona. Gaudi’s iconic Parc Guell is 4 Metro stops away from Mundet.

A very nice hotel, with spacious and fully equipped rooms. The location is good for exploring the city because you have a subway (Metro) station just around the corner (literally). Near the hotel there's no points of interest so you have to ride the subway or use your car (don't recommend it, driving in Barcelona is insane!). The restaurant is a good option for dinner and the buffet breakfast is very good (a bit expensive though). It's the second time we stay here, a good and rational option when visiting Barcelona. It should have a swimming pool, the only thing I truly missed on this very hot summer!
Terrible experience — RUN, don’t book this hotel.
1. The entire hotel’s AC was broken. No one fixed it that day, and they refused to refund us. We couldn’t sleep all night and had to cancel our plans for the next day.
2. The Wi-Fi was basically unusable, with an extremely weak and unstable signal.
3. The soundproofing was awful. We could clearly hear normal conversations from the room next door.
The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.
My stay at Alemara Hotel was very comfortable, clean room!
When I left the hotel by taxi to go to the airport, I accidentally left my Apple AirPods case in the taxi. Luckily, the taxi driver brought it back to the hotel. When I contacted the hotel and asked them to have it ready for pickup, the staff were extremely helpful and made everything very easy.
I’m very happy I got my AirPods case back. Great service and a very pleasant stay. Thank you!
Amazing hotel! Round the corner from the metro so easy access to all attractions. Beautiful rooms. The breakfast was delicious, gluten free options and all items were clearly labelled with allergens. Check out 12 and free suitcase storage.
I don’t have a good experience in Alimara hotel. They charged me for minibar 30 euros but they didn’t have any proper notice or written instructions about it.
The internet was terrible. I can’t believe they didn’t provide a minimum quality service for the internet service. I mostly used my data.
I asked for queen bed but they gave double beds.
The AC was terrible. The air conditioning was awful without proper ventilation.
The breakfast didn’t worth the money!
Don’t recommend it!
