H10 Universitat Hotel

This hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain. I finally had the chance to visit Barcelona this October after missing it last year, and thanks to the hotel’s exceptional hospitality, I had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel’s location was also excellent. It was within easy walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around the city. At the same time, it wasn’t located directly on the main square, so it was pleasantly quiet and peaceful without the noise and crowds. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bathroom was also incredibly clean and well maintained. Before arriving, I was a little worried about the hard water that is common in Europe, but the water quality at this hotel was excellent, which made my stay even more comfortable. The daily housekeeping service was outstanding, and the front desk staff were always warm, welcoming, and eager to help. I also really enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel every morning. The croissants were absolutely delicious—some of the best I’ve ever had! I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Barcelona. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and memorable stay.

Staff, location, breakfast choices excellent. We chose the room via the tour operator, it was sufficient for our stay. An upgrade was offered, we declined for the short stay we were there. The shower facility was brilliant. We would request that a notice should be in each room, advising customers not to wear valuables on the streets of Barcelona. Easy takings for thiefs! My partner endured a physical attack for his gold chain. When reported to reception staff, we were told, it happens a lot, recommending we report to the police, we did! Maybe a polite notice within the hotel , could prevent this.

Nicky, the overnight receptionist on 8/15 and 8/16 was absolutely incredible. Really helped make our lives better when my wife got a bit of a stomach pains. Provided us with tea, a kettle, and brought it up himself. In general, the staff had been wonderful at breakfast and cleaning as well. 10/10 would stay again.

My son and I had a great stay here in July. The staff were very kind, friendly and professional. Thank you, Ms Carmen Ruiz and your colleagues for making our stay so wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great. In the middle of the city with many restaurants and shops but without the noise of the traffic! A very calming and chic hotel! PS – the tapas restaurant that Ms Ruiz recommended was very delicious! Thank you very much.
