Located on noisy street with noisy upstairs neighbors. Sofa covered in rubberized covering unlike picture. While claims normal amenities, not really...only 2 packages containing cleaning supplies and cooking supplies..oil, salt, pepper etc.

I’ll start off by saying the location was great, close to metro and also nice areas surrounding the apartment… HOWEVER, it was extremely noisy. Unfortunately, we had an apartment facing the street so on the first night we didn’t get a wink of sleep. You could hear people out and about, you could hear the traffic and the metro passing underneath. We asked the administrator if he could move us to a different apartment away from the street and he said he would get back to us the next day as he assured us he could move us then. Next day came and we received no call so we left it for another night. Next day after that we called and the new person working said they wouldn’t have something available for us for 4 days (aka the night before leaving) which wasn’t helpful. We ended up moving the mattresses to the living room because it was slightly quieter in there than in the bedroom. (Also we had bunk beds in one of the bedrooms with no form of barrier on the top bunk in case you rolled over and fell.) We had to sign strict contracts about noise (can’t be noisy after 10pm or you get fined) but the neighbours upstairs seemed to be having some kind of gathering. We called the emergency line as we just wanted a bit of sleep, and they said they would call the folks upstairs but if they didn’t answer I would have to go and knock on the door which I politely said no to as I was in my jim-jams, in bed (and it’s not my job) but luckily they were quiet again after a few minutes. Just to touch on the cleanliness and overall maintenence of the flat, some of the lamps were leaning on walls as they were literally broken from the base and toppling over, as well as some lightbulbs were burnt out. We arrived (family of 4) and were given 1 roll of toilet paper for the whole week of our stay. We did inform administrator and they brought us more. They were quite efficient when it came to those types of requests. If you’re going to Barcelona with intentions of going out with pals and not sleeping much, these apartments are great. However, staying as a family I would suggest you only book if you’re a heavy sleeper because, as I said, it will sound like the motorcycles are revving right next to you.
Everything was well except in the end they charge me 100 euro for small crystal door which was already broken before we stay. The lady in the reception told us about another broken door of the cabinet in the room by the previous guest and we thought that they checked everything and aware about the whole condition of the apartment. Because of that we didn't inform them about this crystal door! I feel they cheat us. Therefore, check the apartment accurately in the first day and inform them to avoid what happened to us.
Very nice and comfortable place. Good price/quality. As for me, personal kitchen with the all kitchenware is a big advantage. Location: 5 min walk to Fontana underground and 2 min to supermarket. Highly recommended!
Great apartment! Loved the area, reminded me of London's Shoreditch. Cool, vibrant with lovely little restaurants. Only few stops on the metro to the town centre. The apartment was clean and well equipped. If you arriving very late check in on line and your keys will be left in the safety deposit box otherwise you would have to check in at a different location couple of kilometres away or pay €35 for someone to come to check you in at the apartment. I would definitely stay there again :)
