the room has a good size, and it is clean . The room 212 is in front of the street and you can't sleep due to the noise. the windows are not soundproof. the air conditioning is not stable, it is super cold and suddenly it stops. I changed the room to 702 and the noise is better, but airconditioning the same. The breakfast, if you get close to the ending time, some options are not available. 300 euros per night for it is to expensive.
Not sure how this hotel is classified as being a 4 star hotel, because unfortunately it lacks that 4 star feel. Let’s start from our horrible check-in experience. We arrived around 2 hours before check-in, and the young man at the reception rudely reminded us that check in is at 3pm. We knew, but never had this issue in other hotels - if not ready they allow us to leave our lugagge there. He proceeded to check if the room was ready. It wasn’t and we had to ask ourselves to leave the luggages; no info filled in or anything. We explored the area and had lunch and went back at 3pm since we wanted to freshen up before our excursion. We went up to the desk at 3:04pm, gave him our name and he informed us that it still WASN’T READY. We had an immediate reaction of dismay to which his reply was “I will check, it’s only 4 minutes after 3pm”. Excuse me, what kind of an answer is that? Thankfully his two female colleagues were much nicer and more professional and after around 15 minutes they gave us the room. The room was spacious as we had expected but we did feel that the bathroom needs some more work. The general feel of the hotel feels somewhat off and outdated. On a more positive note, we had a very pleasant experience with one of the female receptionists (didn’t get a name) who was there in the evening. We asked for a Vanity Kit and she assisted us right away. She was also very helpful when we asked her about advice regarding what time is best to book a taxi to the airport. Honestly, others should learn a lot from her customer service skills! Small but very organised breakfast too.
The hotel’s location is absolutely excellent. Everything is nearby, and the area is safe. The cleanliness and service are truly outstanding. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
The location is 10/10, perfect for exploring Barcelona. The rooms are comfy with a nice size, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!
Check-out at 12pm is perfect. We had a superior room on the 8th floor with a fantastic view of Barcelona. large and nicely furnished room. excellent breakfast and location in the center.
