Great stay in Barcelona! We had a wonderful experience staying here during our trip to Barcelona. The location was amazing and made it so easy to walk around and explore the city. Our apartment was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and having a kitchenette was such a nice bonus, especially while traveling with a young child. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay and always made us feel welcome. We also loved that staying in the apartments gave us access to the amenities at their main hotel, including the pool. The pool and other facilities were beautiful and a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. Between the cleanliness, fantastic location, helpful staff, kitchenette, and hotel amenities, it had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Barcelona!

This was a lovely place for the most part, but I wish we had been warned ahead of time about their entire lobby/downstairs undergoing construction. We got to thankfully use their sister venue for our free breakfast, which was delicious, but the rooftop terrace/bar wasn’t open and the whole downstairs was a construction zone. This is an incredible location though and once the construction is complete - it will be a 5 star establishment based on price, location, convenience, etc.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience felt too misleading not to share. We stayed at the hotel from March 28th through the 31st and chose it largely because of the rooftop and pool that are prominently advertised. While the website does mention that the rooftop season ends on November 1, it does not provide any indication of when it reopens. Given that we were there during a stretch of great weather, when many other hotels in Barcelona have their rooftop pools open, it was completely reasonable to expect this amenity to be available. However, during our stay, the rooftop and pool were entirely closed, with no prior communication before arrival or at check-in. When we went up to see the space, it felt disheveled, with items and equipment left out, making it clear it was not being maintained for guest use. Even more concerning, there was major construction happening inside the hotel. The room next to ours was actively being renovated, and we were woken up each morning by loud jackhammering and hammering. This was not minor background noise, it significantly impacted our ability to relax and enjoy the stay. If we had known we were booking a stay in the middle of a construction zone, we absolutely would have booked somewhere else. What’s most disappointing is the lack of transparency. The hotel continues to market these amenities without clearly communicating closures or construction that materially affect the guest experience. Had we known about either of these issues in advance, we would have made a different decision. We understand that renovations and seasonal closures happen, but guests deserve clear, upfront communication so they can make informed decisions.

We stayed 8 nights at Duquesa Suites Landmark Hotel at the end of November 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, honestly one of the best spots in Barcelona. Everything is nearby and the area feels very safe. Anna at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit and really made our stay special. She went above and beyond. The staff overall was very friendly, breakfast was great, and the views were beautiful. We truly loved our stay and would definitely return.
