First time to Barcelona. The hotel was in a good location for all of the sites. The hop on hop off bus is close and can get you around to the attractions or taxis if preferred. The staff in the hotel was excellent. Simo was most helpful for anything you may need. He recommended a local lunch spot and led the way there for us. While the room was small by American standards, it was sufficient. There are tons of hotels in Barcelona to choose from, but I'm glad we stayed here for the quality of the staff. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable Simo.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Hotel Catalonia Magdalenes was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel, room service, and especially the entire staff were simply amazing! A very special thank you to Alfredo, who welcomed us so warmly and was always there whenever we needed anything. His kindness, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more special! The entire team was incredibly friendly, warmhearted, and welcoming. You can truly feel how much they care about their guests, and that made us feel right at home. ❤️ The location is also perfect! The hotel is right in the heart of the city, with everything you need just a short walk away. We honestly couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Everything was fantastic, from the service to the atmosphere and the wonderful people working there. We had an amazing stay! This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the location could not have been better. It is right in the Gothic Quarter and within walking distance of so many of Barcelona’s major attractions, including the Picasso Museum, La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya, the beach, and the Turibus stops. We absolutely loved the location and being able to walk almost everywhere! The hotel itself was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection, and the staff in the breakfast area was amazing and always so welcoming and attentive. We also really enjoyed the spa area, especially after spending long days walking and exploring Barcelona. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The rooftop pool was beautiful and another special feature that made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible staff. Everyone was wonderful, but a very special thank you to Pere and Adam. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They treated us like family, gave us excellent recommendations, and provided some of the best service we experienced during our trip. Between the beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, relaxing spa, gorgeous rooftop pool, perfect location, and exceptional hospitality, we could not have asked for a better experience in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again and will absolutely recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you, Pere, Adam, and the entire team for making our stay in Barcelona so memorable! ❤️

Stayed here at the recommendation of friends. It was the PERFECT location! Rooms are nice and quiet. Bathrooms in the room aren’t super private so make sure you know each other well if you stay with someone. The staff are soooo welcoming and it’s nice to have a bar in the lobby that’s easily accessible. Coffee in the afternoons too. Rooftop is really chill and don’t forget the free sauna, steam room and bubbling pool on the ground floor. (It’s not a jacuzzi per se, just nice and warm). Hotel breakfast was very good if you are a big eater in the morning. We will definitely stay again in the future!
