On the website you can choose between double bed and twin beds, I chose double bed. When I got into the room I found twin beds. I called reception and they were very rude and completely unhelpful. If I knew it was going to be twin beds I would have booked somewhere else! What is the point of having the option on the website if you get what you’re given and it’s treated as an affront to raise your confusion about this? Would not give money to this chain of hotels again

This hotel is a decent option located centrally, making it convenient to explore Barcelona. While the nightly rate doesn’t quite match the facilities offered, the friendly check-in staff and satisfying breakfast make for a pleasant stay. However, the hotel lobby is quite small, and I found the premium family room to be cramped and less worth the premium rate due to its limited space.

Great hotel. Staff were great. The room was really great too. Everything you needed, very clean and organised. Food was really good and couldn’t ask for better service. 10/10

Beware! Some rooms have loud noises similar to someone rolling bags 24/7! We stayed in room 101 and that was the case. We spoke to the front desk and they acted like if no one knew this was a thing, which I doubt, and they said this might be due to the proximity to the subway. I saw other reviews mentioning a garage door opening and closing which I think was the culprit. Subway noise would be more like a vibration noise… We also found someone manipulating the door handle, when we opened the door the person claimed they were changing the batteries but they could have let us know in advance to avoid freaking out! We requested a room change which was granted by the end of the day so we had to leave everything packed for the day and they moved our things to the new room which was quieter, but we simply realized walls are paper thin regardless and the room was one of the outdated ones…. If you are looking to be able to rest at night, this is probably not a right fit for you.
