Catalonia Catedral Hotel

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and fluent in multiple languages. Leo was great at giving recommendations for local spots. The hotel is beautiful and very unique. The rooms are very comfortable (beds are on the firmer side). I absolutely love having a bidet in our room - when you have them at home you feel like an animal when traveling without access to one. We also loved the bunk bed arrangement for the kids. Breakfast was good, with a good variety. Didn’t get a chance to eat in the regular restaurant or use room service. The pool is nice - small, but it’s got a nice view and was never overly crowded. Location was GREAT. The gothic quarter has a great vibe and is very walkable. We didn’t really have any issues with noise like others mentioned. The neighborhood felt totally safe at all hours. My only issue was the thermostat. We had it set to the lowest setting (19C and the room never got below 22C). Could have been user error though. It wasn’t enough of a bother to mention it. Overall we’d def stay here again next time we’re in Barcelona.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. It's in a historic district so you can't just drive up in your rental car - you'll have to leave the car in a parking garage very close by and walk over. Taxis can drive in and drop you of in front of the hotel door. Make sure you get the breakfast package included - great variety of foods, fruits and sweets and, of course, great coffees.

The hotel’s location in the Gothic Quarter is perfect for exploring the city, with many historical sites, excellent restaurants, and shops nearby. The staff were warm and welcoming, spoke both Spanish and English fluently, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Despite being in a busy area, my room was quiet and comfortable. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect and it was super easy to get around. We spent most evenings up at the rooftop bar and were served by Nhel who was so thoughtful, kind and the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was outstanding also.
