This was easily one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever. The location couldn’t have been better,Casa Batlló and countless shops were literally right downstairs. The apartment was much bigger than we expected. There were five of us, and it still felt incredibly spacious. They also let us store our luggage, which made everything so much more convenient. We definitely wished we could have stayed longer!
We stayed here for two nights. The apparent was very well located. Walking distance from different must go places. A lot of shops and restaurants around too many to choose from. The train and metro station are just like three steps from the building. Mauricio was super good and provided great advice during the check in. If we come back to Barcelona will definitely repeat this stay.

This place (Passeig de Gracia location) is lovely, and very well located directly in front of the Metro and walking distance to some of the best shops and restaurants in the city. Far enough from the nightlife that it won’t keep you up, but near enough that you can have a few drinks and still walk home safely. There is another review that mentions this location is next to a nightclub, I don’t know if that is still the case but we were there Monday-Monday and we never heard nightclub music or saw nightclub activity, so maybe it has closed. A few notes though that are not apparent in the listing. This is in a very posh neighborhood, with all of the fanciest retailers at every corner, as such it isn’t exactly “local flavor”, you’ll need to walk a bit to get that. Despite being in a main thoroughfare, it can sometimes be very difficult to get a cab. Finally, there is no outdoor area associated with the room. The windows all open and are a nice touch, but there is no courtyard, or space to sit outdoors whenever one feels the need. Barcelona has plenty of that for certain, but it would be nice to have it on the property. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable. However; the beds leave quite a bit to be desired. If you are comfortable on an incredibly firm bed, then you’ll be fine, but we were not. We got very little sleep, and the small couch was more comfortable than the beds. Finally, there are no instructions for the thermostat, and a fixed temperature of 23.5°C is pretty warm for most. I spent a a couple of hours tracking down online instructions for the thermostat and the water heater to get the unit to a livable temperature. This may only be an issue when the nights are cold and the days are warm. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and if we ever go back to Barcelona it’ll be at the top of the list.
We’re so happy we chose to stay here! It was perfectly located for sightseeing in a nice neighborhood and the building was gorgeous! With a classic old fashioned open wrought iron elevator with red velvet seat that instantly transports one to another era! The apartment was tastefully decorated in classic style with stunning original Moroccan floor tiles, an enclosed terrace overlooking a vast classic Spanish courtyard. Three bedrooms two bathrooms a well-stocked kitchen (with an ironing board & iron which was greatly appreciated)! We were visiting for just a few days for a family Wedding and it was so much nicer to be able to optimize as much time as possible together, in more of a ‘home type’ environment than we typically would have in individual rooms, isolated from each other. My cousin and her family of 6 rented the attic apartment one floor above us and it was just so much fun for all of us to be so close together. Both apartments had nice areas for lounging and entertaining. With none of the typical tacky eyesores like bad art or ugly curtains that you normally see even in the best of hotels. The building staff and management was also lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be staying here next time when we return! Thank you, Rocamora Apartments!! Olivia & Jason Joseph
