Just got back from a stay here. Unfortunately, this isn't anything like as portrayed via its website: 1) my daughter and I booked this for the separate bedrooms but arrived to find the room dividers have been removed! 2) we opted for the half board option but ended up eating out due to both poor quality of food and options, and the strange customer service - the hotel advertises a menu publicly which isnt the menu you are allowed to eat from if half board, the latter being much more restricted. When the food came, it was miniscule portions and evidently microwaved, no fresh vegetables at all. We were only allowed 1 drink. Breakfast was poor quality too, they say the pastries are 'homemade' which is just not the case! 3) general customer service is poor, with staff few in number and distant with you. I have stage 4 cancer and this was meant to be a big trip so I do feel very let down (and starving).

Very nice experience – the hotel was clean and everything was fine. The location is great, close to the main attractions and convenient for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend it for a pleasant stay.
The hotel was good and the breakfast was good and everything else but the cleaners were annoying. We had a bit of a mess and a letter came straight away about it. We didn't put the note saying they were cleaning so they came straight away and put the note.
Scam! We have booked this hotel for March and they canceled it as they wrote was a mistake with prices and that it is actually more expensive and if I want to keep it I need to pay extra. I found this very unfair and was highly disappointed. So be aware, as it is not reliable!
Our first trip to Barcelona was nothing short of magical, and this hotel was the absolute highlight of our journey. The location is simply unbeatable—steps from the metro, putting all the city’s iconic tourist spots within easy reach, which made exploring with our family (including grandma!) stress-free and convenient. But what truly set our stay apart was the exceptional care we received, especially from Laura on the dinner staff. One evening, we had to leave grandma alone for dinner, and as she doesn’t speak a word of Spanish, we were worried she’d struggle. Laura went above and beyond: she made sure grandma felt comfortable, helped her navigate the menu, and ensured she had a wonderful meal. To top it off, when we returned past dinner time, she even arranged room service for us—something we hadn’t expected but deeply appreciated. This level of thoughtfulness and genuine duty of care is so rare these days, and the hotel is incredibly lucky to have such a kind, attentive team member like Laura. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, but it’s the people that make a place feel like home—and Laura did exactly that. We left feeling grateful, happy, and already planning our return. If you’re traveling to Barcelona with family, this hotel is a no-brainer—you won’t find a better location or warmer service anywhere else. Thank you to the entire team, and a huge, heartfelt thank you to Laura for making our trip unforgettable!
